Chapter 219: Let's Talk About Scarface!

"Are you a member of the Benficamites?" Without answering Scarface's question, Connor coldly retorted:

"Heh heh! You've got some nerve, knowing full well that Averova is one of ours, you still dared to imprison her?" Scarface chuckled dryly, a sinister glint in his eyes!

Connor, calculating the time, felt that a minute had passed. He stopped wasting words with Scarface, gave him a deep look without replying, and then flashed out of the magic circle!

Seeing that Connor, a mere intermediate wizard apprentice, dared to ignore him, Scarface's face showed a hint of anger. He slashed fiercely at Castia's magic circle barrier with his cross sword and broke through the magic circle directly!

However, to Scarface's utter surprise, the moment he stepped out of the magic circle, he was astonished to find himself enveloped in a cloud of blood mist. The crimson mist directly entered his body. Seeing this, Scarface frowned slightly, and with a thought, a barrier appeared around him, attempting to block the blood mist. Unfortunately, while Scarface's intention was good, the barrier that had just withstood the suppression of the magic circle in the Connor Castia magic circle was completely ineffective against this blood mist. The blood mist passed directly through the barrier and continued to penetrate Scarface's body!

Unable to shake off the blood mist, Scarface helplessly discovered that his once indestructible body had been corroded and was now festering. The blood mist, like a leech, continued to burrow into his body. But that wasn't the worst part. Scarface was horrified to find that the faster he used his magic, the less he could control his blood!

Sensing that his situation was becoming increasingly critical, a look of frustration flashed in Scarface's eyes. He never expected that he would be able to ambush and stealthily attack two intermediate wizard apprentices with his strength, if not easily, but at least not too difficult. Who would have thought that these two would force him into this predicament!

Scarface's expression turned serious. In this situation, he had to use some of his most trump cards to save his life. Otherwise, if things continued to develop like this, he might actually be caught off guard and fall into the hands of these two intermediate wizard apprentices!

Scarface took a deep breath, followed by a deafening roar. His muscles bulged, instantly doubling his size. His robes ripped open, revealing his muscular physique amidst the blood mist. Surprisingly, mysterious green runes appeared on these muscles, radiating a dazzling light that dispelled the blood mist surrounding Scarface!

Using this energy, Scarface broke through the blood mist in one go. However, he looked terrible when he emerged from the blood mist. His skin was covered with red spots from corrosion and ulceration, and all his blood vessels were bulging out in a frightening way, making people shudder!

Scarface emerged from the blood mist at incredible speed, making it impossible for Connor, who was trying to finish him off, to lock onto him or even unleash his mental shock!

"Stop! Let's talk!" Emerging from the blood mist, Scarface didn't run away. Instead, he stood at a distance, staring intently at Connor and Margaret, and said in a deep voice, "I know you're looking for Avilova, but I've already killed her. I want a piece of the magic stone mine! You can't stop me from leaving, but you should know what that means. If you don't give it to me, neither of you will be mining the magic stone!"

Upon hearing Scarface's words, Connor's heart sank. His worst fears had come true: the matter of the magic stone mine had actually attracted the attention of Scarface, a high-ranking wizard apprentice!

At this moment, Margaret, her face pale, looked at Connor with questioning eyes. Connor knew what she wanted to ask, but he couldn't answer it either. He could only ask Scarface, "My mark tells me Averova is still alive!"

Upon hearing Connor's words, Scarface remained silent. He touched his spatial ring, and an ice coffin immediately appeared on the open ground beside him. Connor could clearly see that Avilova was lying inside the ice coffin, but Avilova was already unconscious and lying there quietly!

"We need to discuss this before we can give you an answer!" After glancing at the completely unconscious Averova in the ice coffin, and then at the scarred, grotesque man, Connor and Margaret exchanged a subtle exchange and said in a low voice:

"Alright, I'll give you three days. I'll wait for you here. Here's a piece of advice: cooperating with me is the best way for you to handle this!" Scarface put away the ice coffin containing Averova, then gave Connor and Margaret a scrutinizing look and smiled sinisterly.

After giving Margaret a look, Connor and Margaret very carefully evacuated the manor together!
