Chapter 1111 Untitled

"And among the thirteen major cities that have established spatial teleportation arrays, one is Godlarsburg, located one hundred kilometers away from Frosinone!"

"This matter concerns the church's reputation, as well as Reyes, a thorn in the church's side, and the well-being of all the Storm Church wizards in Frosinone. Therefore, I believe that no matter how high or painful the cost of using the spatial teleportation array may be, the church will use it!"

"Therefore, if a spatial teleportation array was used, it would explain why Hummels, who should have been at the Cathedral of Sant'Antis, was able to arrive in Frosinone a few hours later." Margaret explained her thoughts to Connor in detail.

Connor found it hard to believe that the spatial teleportation array connecting thirteen major cities actually existed, but he couldn't find any contradictions in Margaret's statement, so he could only nod in agreement.

After a few more seconds of contemplation, Connor asked Margaret, "In that case, Margaret, are you planning to go to your Storm Church's fourth safe house in Frosinone, which is that Kimmich Cannery?"

"Of course not!" Margaret shook her head firmly without hesitation.

"If Hummels really does come to Frosinone and gathers his forces at Safe House Number Four, as I suspect, I'd be crazy to join them. Everyone in the Storm Church knows I'm Elena's subordinate, and Elena and Hummels are now bitter enemies. If I go to the Kimmich Cannery and join them, given Hummels' personality, he'll definitely use that opportunity to get back at me. He might even use a scheme to kill me, employing the Secret Society to eliminate me!" Margaret said with considerable worry.

Seeing that Margaret was still clear-headed, Connor nodded in relief. As Margaret had said, if she were to go to the Kimmich Cannery and meet up with the Church of Storms now, she would be walking right into a trap.

"Connor, what are you planning to do next?" Looking at Connor, Margaret seemed to remember something and immediately asked:

"I haven't thought it through yet. This huge incident has disrupted all my plans. To be honest, I'm very confused right now. I need to think things through carefully before I can make a decision..." Connor shook his head and said helplessly.

Sensing the confusion in Connor's words, Margaret said with a touch of self-deprecation, "I was planning to arrange a meeting between you and Elena, but I never imagined that before you two even met, our Storm Church would already be utterly defeated... Sigh, how shameful!"

"Margaret, don't blame yourself too much. No one could have predicted that the Punisher, Jovic, would be Reyes's mole. Don't be too sad. Your priority now is to heal your injuries; everything else is secondary!" Connor patted Margaret's back, comforting her.

Late at night in Frosinone, atop the Antones Tower, Reyes, dressed in a white robe, gently swirled the wine in his glass, expressionlessly gazing down at the masses of Frosinone below.

Behind Reyes, Bispin excitedly reported, "Professor, we've injected Andrew, Giovanni, and more than ten other wizarding apprentices from the Church of Storms with magic potions. They're all under control now and have been taken to a secret room in Perugia Manor for safekeeping."

"Very good! Keep a close watch on them; they'll be very useful to me!" Reyes picked up his wine glass, took a small sip, and said calmly:

"I understand. I've already assigned two trusted men to keep an eye on them. I'll know immediately if they make any move!" Bispin nodded, speaking with great confidence.

Reyes didn't seem very satisfied with Bispin's confidence. He frowned slightly, then turned to Bispin and said, "Besides injecting the potion and arranging for your men to guard him, what other arrangements have you made, Bispin?"

Bispin was clearly surprised by Reyes' question. He was somewhat suspicious. Wasn't what he had done enough?

Of course, despite his doubts, Bispin could still sense the underlying dissatisfaction in Reyes's words. After a moment's hesitation, he readily apologized to Reyes, saying, "I'm sorry, Professor!"

Reyes shook his head in disappointment at Bispin's apology. More than Bispin's remorse, he wanted Reyes to make amends for the problem.

"Plant alchemical bombs on those people at Perugia Manor and the Church of Storms. If they make any move, don't hesitate to send them back to the embrace of the Storm Goddess." Reyes said calmly, his expressionless face devoid of any emotion. Although his tone was devoid of emotion, his words carried a palpable sense of bloodshed.

Upon hearing Reyes's arrangement, Bispin couldn't contain his curiosity and asked Reyes, "Professor, is this really necessary? Christant is dead, Elena is seriously injured and has fled, her fate unknown. The few remaining members of the Storm Church in Frosinone pose no threat to us whatsoever. If they dare to show themselves, we can easily wipe them out..."

Before Bispin could finish speaking, he felt Reyes staring at him with an extremely cold gaze. This immediately made Bispin tremble and lower his head, not daring to say another word.

Reyes, however, showed no intention of explaining to Bispin why he did what he did. He simply waved his hand, signaling Bispin to do as he was told. Bispin, who was feeling uneasy, was immediately relieved upon receiving this instruction and went to carry out the order.

A minute after Bispin left, a faint voice suddenly came from the tower.

"Reyes, do you suspect Hummels is coming?"

Reyes seemed completely unsurprised by the appearance of the voice. He downed the remaining wine in his glass and said with a cold laugh, "I'm not doubting it, I'm certain that Hummels will come. It's just a matter of when."

After Reyes finished speaking, the owner of the voice remained silent for two minutes before continuing to ask, "Could the rumored Magic Mirror Project be true?"
