It was empty and silent, and the surroundings were pitch black. The only light source was the electronic screen that lit up in the air.

"Almost there."

As if the network had malfunctioned, the electronic screen suddenly began to flicker with pixelation. As the screen stretched, the phantom of 'Uchiha Gen' emerged in the darkness.

The phantom slowly walked towards the direction where the negative emotions erupted. It encountered no obstacles along the way, but the 'cross' that was originally stuck there had completely disappeared. In its place was a shadow exuding black energy, standing in place like a wooden stake.

Just as the system looked puzzled and was about to reach out and touch the dark figure in front of it.

Suddenly, the shadow spoke: "Hey, system, I've wanted to complain for a long time. Don't you have any shame? Why do you have to look like me?"

System: "...If you're here, then who's outside?"

The shadow shrugged: "You still haven't answered my question. Never mind, you know I have mental issues. So, it's not a big deal that I split myself into several parts, sending one out on errands while leaving one here to guard the house, is it?"

Seeing the system remain silent: "..."

Shadow spoke with a Versailles-like tone, circling the system as if showing off, and said, "The 'Creation' outside hasn't gone back yet, and I'm still here guarding it. At this point, it's not enough to push me to my limit."

System: "Are you 'Rationality'?"

Although the tone was questioning, the speaker had already reached a conclusion about the matter; no wonder—

Shadow couldn't deny it: "Although these negative emotions have caused me some trouble, but..."

The shadow tapped its head with its finger as it spoke: "I've remembered a lot of things."

"You helped me keep the skin safe, and I gave you access. I asked you about the situation before, but you didn't tell me, which isn't a problem. But you shouldn't have broken the agreement—you tampered with those clones, didn't you?"

Like a system malfunction, the previously stable phantom image in front of me started flashing with mosaics again: "I just amplified your inner desires. You want to live, and so do I. We were originally on the same side."

The shadow nodded: "I never said I didn't want to live."

The mosaic flashing on the system paused for a moment: "..."

Brother, I believe it.

Shadow started counting on his fingers: "Didn't you say you were going to collect autographs? I've already collected autographs from: Kakuzu, Hidan, Itachi, Konan, Deidara, Kakashi, Tsunade, and Jiraiya. See how much effort I've put in? It's all for the sake of resurrection, isn't it?"

System: "Then why did you kill yourself so many times before?"

Shadow snapped his fingers: "That's for..., of course."

"Love and peace—do you think I would say that?"

"Hey, even though everyone says you should enjoy the process, without a perfect 'clearance,' I feel restless all over, so~"

System: "So what constitutes perfection?"

Upon hearing this, Shadow paused: "...I don't know, I forgot."

Perhaps because they've gotten used to it, the system didn't seem surprised by this answer.

"Spending too much time with these things will make you assimilated..."

"Oh, I know that."

……

Ding~ Welcome!

"There seems to be food here. I wonder if this money is enough."

The blond-haired boy rubbed his stomach and muttered to himself. When he looked up, he saw two figures, one tall and one short, standing in front of him.

"Naruto?!" Karin exclaimed in a low voice, her voice filled with barely concealed excitement.

Upon hearing that familiar voice, Naruto instinctively exclaimed, "Karin?!"

However, upon closer inspection, what appeared to be a girl wearing an ordinary t-shirt and with black hair was actually a girl.

Seeing the confusion in Naruto's eyes, Karin quickly deactivated her transformation jutsu: "It's me!"

Naruto didn't rush forward, but observed for a while. Finally, puzzled, he couldn't help but compare his own height with his hands and then look at Karin.

"Karin, you—you seem to have grown taller?"

"Huh...?" Karin looked at her hands and felt that nothing seemed to have changed.

"No way..." After all, he only used the transformation technique to change his appearance and did not change his height.

But when he looked up again, Naruto, who had just been standing in front of him, was gone...

"Was that an illusion?"

Naruto muttered to himself, reaching out to touch the spot where Karin had been, but he didn't touch anything.

He had already returned to the stairwell, a fact that surprised Naruto, who seemed to have expected it.

Looking down at the frog wallet in his hand, Naruto fell into deep thought, the untimely rumbling in his stomach only intensifying his despair.

He and Sasuke separated, and in this stairwell, Naruto would be "teleported" to some strange places from time to time, and then be teleported back.

"That's true."

The Nine-Tails, which had been silent for a long time, lay inside the seal on Naruto's body and spoke.

"..."

"?!"

"Nine-Tails, you spoke?!"

Naruto's voice revealed joy.

"Um."

Nine-Tails didn't actually want to speak, but now that things had come to this, if they didn't speak up, they might all be wiped out: "I..."

However, before Kurama could finish speaking, Naruto suddenly said anxiously, "Great! Kurama, you have more experience than me. Do you know where we are? How can I get out of here and rescue everyone? Also, I think Sasuke might have been teleported away like me. Do you know where he went? My dad..."

Kurama frowned: "Naruto!"

Naruto seemed to have finally found an outlet for his emotions, and he couldn't stop talking as he continued, "By the way, you before..."

After venting his frustrations for a while, seeing that Kurama didn't respond, Naruto's voice finally slowed down as his emotions were released, and he gradually stopped, realizing that he had lost his composure.

Naruto was silent for a moment...

She lowered her head, forcing back the sobs in her voice, and said, "I'm sorry, I just—you didn't respond to me then, and I thought something had happened to you too..."

Kurama originally thought that Naruto's words were a reproach for his indifference, but he didn't expect it to be out of concern. How could someone care about a tailed beast?

Thinking of this, Nine-Tailed Fox's brows relaxed slightly, and the words that were initially somewhat impatient turned into something else: "Don't worry, I'm fine..."

After saying that, Nine-Tails felt that her attitude might have been a bit too kind, so she added, "Heh, being locked up here all this time, what could possibly happen to me?"

Naruto sounded a little disappointed: "Yeah, I'm sorry. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be stuck here with me."

Nine-Tailed Fox: "..."

They were talking past each other, but Nine-Tails was already over a thousand years old, and it wasn't worth arguing with a kid who was only a teenager: "Didn't you just ask me those questions?"

"While I can't be sure, I do have some guesses about these issues, though they may not be correct—I think we seem to be in a time turbulence right now."

Naruto looked on with a puzzled but impressive expression: "Time distortion?"

Nine-Tailed Fox frowned: "You can take this as a reference; everything here feels real to me, but—"

"If it's a time warp, there are many things that can't be explained..."

"Um, what is time turbulence?"

"you……"

Nine-Tails' expression twitched with despair. After being hated by humans for so many years, he was now forced to become a teacher, and a little devil at that.
