I am a necromancer, and I absolutely love America.

Chapter 54 You have disappointed me.

The large iron gate opened.

The two men half-supported Richard as they entered.

A circle of enclosed factory buildings surrounded an open space, with only faint lights in the middle.

Richard could sense that two gang members were hiding in the shadows, watching him.

They thought they were hiding well, but they couldn't escape Richard's keen senses.

"Two, plus Joel who guards the gate, that makes a total of three people here," Richard silently noted.

"Let's go!" Rogers shoved Richard hard.

Richard walked in front, with Rogers and Wood following behind, guns in hand, like two lackeys.

Entering the factory through a small door, the lights came on, and the temperature inside was several degrees lower than outside.

The interior of the factory has been converted into a crude operating room, with all the windows sealed on the inside, so that no light can be seen from the outside.

Dozens of mangled corpses were piled up in the corner, the air thick with the smell of blood and formaldehyde, and the faint stench of oxidized human tissue.

Four cold stainless steel workbenches were lined up in a row, the surrounding floor covered with dark brown bloodstains.

A huge freezer sat in the corner, radiating cold air and emitting a low hum.

Three people were standing in front of the freezer: two wearing white biohazard suits and a burly man with a scarred face.

A doctor, shrouded in a thick aura of death, loudly commanded:

"Be careful! Send this away tomorrow morning!"

"Yes!" The assistant was putting a box containing a kidney into the freezer.

Richard was brought before the scarred, muscular man.

Rogers said cautiously:

"Boss Emon, the man has been brought."

Eamon? Richard frowned:

"Isn't Antonio the leader of the BG gang?"

For a big shot like Brian, the name of the BG gang leader wasn't a secret; it was just that the person himself wasn't easy to find.

Emon sneered:

"Kid, you're not worthy to see the boss."

"Damn it!" Richard cursed. He had been playing along with these bastards for so long just to find Antonio.

By controlling Antonio, he controlled the BG gang, thus gaining a henchman for the dark side.

With Brian in the legitimate world and the BG Gang in the underworld, Richard is much safer in New York.

What is it now?

What a worthless captain!

Richard's gaze turned cold.

Rogers angrily retorted:

"Eamon is our captain, watch your mouth!"

Doctor Neil, covered in blood, glanced at Richard:

"Is this the kid?"

"That's him." Rogers covered his nose uncomfortably; the smell of blood was too strong.

Neil removed his blood-stained gloves and tossed them into the trash can, then looked Richard up and down like a butcher examining a pig or sheep.

"Young man, I admire your composure. Well, it's time to say goodbye to this world."

Richard said coldly:

"You have disappointed me."

An invisible hand of magic emerged from the fingertips.

Everyone around him was staring at him as if he were a madman.

The next second, Neil was astonished to see that the others had fallen silently.

Pfft!

Pfft!

Pfft!

They were all over the ground.

Click!

Richard's handcuffs automatically unlocked, his hands hung naturally at his sides, and he casually stuffed the handcuffs into his pants pockets.

Neil was completely bewildered, having no idea what had happened.

Richard rubbed his wrist and said expressionlessly:

"Are you in charge of this organ factory?"

This was Richard's first time killing someone; he felt a little nauseous, but it wasn't serious.

It wasn't as painful as he had imagined. Perhaps it was because of his profession as a necromancer that he had a high degree of acceptance of death.

"You, you, you!" Neil exclaimed in utter terror.

"What did you do to them! Air poison?! Why weren't you poisoned?!"

Richard took out the prepared rubber gloves from his pocket, put them on, and said leisurely:

"Take me to see how many corpses are here."

Neil cried out in fear:

"It's not my fault. I'm just a doctor. I didn't kill anyone..."

Richard looked up at Neil's head with a smile.

The greatest desire in his mind was tension, not fear.

The flame of fear wasn't very strong; this guy was clearly acting.

"Don't be afraid, tell me, how many people are here?" Richard pulled out his pistol from Eamon's body and began to examine it.

This is a Glock 17 with a silencer. It's in excellent condition, but the serial number has been worn off—a typical black market gun.

"They're all here, except for Joel, the doorman..."

"The one with the full face of tattoos?"

"It's him."

"Where is Antonio?" Richard's attention seemed to be focused on the pistol.

"I don't know where he is, I'm just a doctor..."

As Neil spoke, he discreetly reached for a scalpel and hid it in his sleeve.

Immediately afterwards, everything went black, and he instantly lost consciousness.

Clang!

The scalpel fell to the ground.

Richard withdrew his magical hand and walked coldly toward the door.

Joel was found very quickly.

Joel was reading a pornographic magazine when he was startled to see Richard walk out nonchalantly. He immediately reached for his gun.

But as soon as I raised my hand halfway, I felt a suffocating sensation and my vision began to go black.

His eyes bulged out, and he made a series of "uh-uh-uh" sounds. He suddenly grabbed his neck as if someone was strangling him, making it hard for him to breathe, but there was nothing on his neck.

What happened?!

What's choking me?!

Before he could react, everything went black and he lost consciousness.

Richard walked around the factory again and easily took down the remaining two gangsters.

With his keen eye contact, exceptional hearing, and heightened sense of desire, no one could escape Richard's search.

Only after he confirmed there were no survivors did he begin using his death sense to touch the corpse.

They hoped to obtain some useful information from the gang members, such as Antonio's address.

Perhaps due to his heightened mental state, or perhaps because the corpses were very fresh and extremely intact, Richard obtained several fragments of memory from each of the corpses.

However, the scenes of eating, drinking, and boasting are mostly empty and have no real value.

Are the memory fragments that can be seen random? Richard reached for Amon's corpse again:

"Eamon Damas, 1.88 meters tall, 85 kg, official member and leader of the BG gang, died of brain death due to cerebral ischemia."

Immediately afterwards, he saw three fragments of memory.

The first part is at night.

Richard was momentarily disoriented when he found himself in Eamon's shoes.

He was digging with his head down, burying a black box in the dirt.

The memory fragment was very short, only a dozen seconds or so, and he kept his head down the whole time.

Memory fragments are not simply videos; they record the deceased's five senses and emotions.

Richard could sense that Emmon was somewhat nervous.

Hiding money?

Or is it to hide a body?

Richard read it several times but couldn't get any more information.

Because Eamon was constantly digging, he could only see a small hill in the distance out of the corner of his eye.

The surrounding area is full of red maple forests, but this type of tree is common around New York and in other states as well, so it's impossible to pinpoint the exact location.

It was dark in the woods, and it was impossible to tell the time.

The only unusual thing was that Richard felt a slight dampness, indicating there must be a river nearby.

The second memory is of practicing shooting at the shooting range.

It's very short, just a few seconds, and has no value whatsoever.

The third scene features a man in a suit with meticulously styled hair.

The man put his arm around Eamon's shoulder and whispered in his ear:

"Eamon! You know I trust you the most! I suspect there's a cop mole in the gang. You investigate, but don't make a fuss."

"Yes!" Eamon felt trusted and, somewhat excited, replied firmly.

"Leave it to me, boss!"

The memory has ended.

"Boss?" Richard thought to himself.

The fact that Emmon calls him "boss" must mean that he's Antonio, the leader of the BG gang!

Does the BG gang have a police undercover agent?

You're an American gangster, why aren't you dealing drugs and arms properly, instead of playing a double agent game?

Richard's last touch was Neil's corpse.

This guy is a real psychopath; he's dissecting both memories and he's in a state of high excitement the whole time.

After gathering intelligence, Richard picked up Joel's pistol, attached a silencer, and fired the finishing shots at all the corpses.

puff!

puff!

puff!

The muffled gunshots were muffled by the wall and wouldn't carry far.

The area around the factory is desolate; even homeless people don't come here.

The follow-up shot was merely to create a seemingly plausible cause of death.

Of course, the wounds from shooting a corpse are definitely different from those from a living person who has actually been shot.

However, Richard naturally had ways to prevent the forensic pathologist from conducting the examination.

After finishing off the gun, he shoved the weapon into Joel's hand.

Richard walked into the butcher doctor's warehouse and easily found several large barrels of medical alcohol.
