The knockout stage of the 2018 World Championship has officially begun!

First: IG did lose two games to FNC in the S8 group stage, and ultimately advanced as the second-place team in their group.

The crushing defeat of FNC was a matter for the finals; the IG in the finals and the IG in the group stage were not the same team.
