Fairy Tail: I was transported to the wrong world and became a pirate

Chapter 10 The despicable otherworldly beings, they ambushed us again with stones.

Meanwhile, the battle, in which it's impossible to tell who the demon is, continues.

Hughes, now in a state of illness, looked at the Forest Vulcan's stopped fist and its heavy breathing, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"You went soft after only a hundred or so thrusts?"

With a kick and a push, the Forest Vulcan was sent flying into the sky. Before it could land, Hughes was already on its back, flames enveloping his body, and he stomped down.

"You haven't even lasted two minutes! What are you doing here?"

"boom!"

Hughes landed safely on the plane from another world, and the demonized forest of Vulcan slowly dissipated in the deep crater on the ground.

Mira slowly woke up, feeling pain all over her body.

"Oh, there's one more?"

"Fire Fist!!"

A fist, slightly smaller than before and formed from gathered flames, quickly formed in front of Mira.

Startled, Mira's blue eyes narrowed, and she braced herself with both hands in front of her, desperately trying to block.

The demon's arm at the very front, facing the raging flames, crackled and steamed as it was burned.

Mira squinted in pain as her body was pushed backward by the flames.

"Oh dear! So I'm not good enough either?"

As the flames on his body gradually died down, Hughes tilted his head to look at his fist, which had lost its flames, and muttered a sarcastic remark.

He was so engrossed in his illness that he didn't even notice that his face had long since turned deathly pale.

Because of the continuous bursts of power and the constant elemental transformation, his body was already exhausted from overexertion.

"If we can't use fire, then our fists will do!"

Hughes grinned, leaped up, and landed in the pit where Mira lay; he looked at Mira, who was convulsing from the burns, with a bright smile, and then slammed his fist down.

[Ding! The quest "Defeat the King of Mount Colbo" has been completed. Quest reward: Ultimate Skill - Iron Block (Beginner) has been issued.]

The system's notification sound and the inexplicable warmth flowing through his body cleared Hughes's mind. He looked at Mira, who was only millimeters away from his fist, and fell into deep thought.

Hughes was always aware of what he did when he was having an episode, but once he entered the episode, he couldn't control his body, and his actions were entirely instinctive.

So... should I throw this punch or not?

This is such a good opportunity. He can completely shift the blame to the illness later. If Mira is really the demon Oz identified by the system, as he guessed, then as long as he knocks Mira unconscious, the rest of the mission can be completed at the same time.

Joking aside, he was really craving a perfect-quality iron block.

Unbeknownst to Hughes, two men were already creeping up behind him...

Lisanna quietly picked up the two stones from the ground.

He placed an even larger, heavier stone on Elfman's palm: "Brother Elfman, whether we can save Sister Mira depends on you!"

"But Lisanna, what if Hughes is just trying to scare Mira?"

"Hughes has gone mad, he'll hurt Mira!!"

Lisanna gripped the stone tightly in her hand and threw it with all her might. The stone landed precisely on Hughes's back.

While Hughes was still making his decision, a rock slammed into his back, and he gasped in pain before he could transform into his elemental form.

Without warning, the fist, which was only millimeters away from Mira, slammed into her cheek.

"Now that you're awake, hurry up and go up!" Mira looked at him calmly, her voice cold.

"Oh, sorry, sorry!" Hughes removed his fist from her face and slightly increased the distance between them; he was quite embarrassed too.

But I must say, Mila's face is quite smooth and tender.

Neither of them noticed that an even larger rock had already flown towards them from behind.

"Bang!"

The large rock struck Hughes on the back of the head, instantly causing his eyes to bulge and turn white, and his entire body to slump forward.

Why do people in this other world like to smash people's heads with rocks so much?!

This was Hughes' last thought before his vision went black...

Mira, who was standing in front of Hughes, suddenly widened her eyes. In her light blue eyes, Hughes's figure grew larger and larger...

"Bang!"

Their foreheads collided heavily, and Hughes pinned Mira to the ground. Mira, whose head was exposed below, had circles in her eyes.

[Ding! The quest "Defeat the Demon Oz" has been completed. Quest reward: Ultimate Skill - Iron Block (Perfect) has been issued.]

The system's notification sound and the warm current that accompanied the reward within his body failed to bring Hughes back to his senses.

"Elfman, how could you hit Hughes on the head? Someone could die!" Lisanna, who was not far away, covered her mouth in shock and looked at Elfman with horror.

Elfman scratched his head, looking completely confused: "Aren't we supposed to knock Hughes unconscious and then rescue Mira?"

"Didn't we throw stones at Hughes to distract him, and then I lured him away? Elfman, are you going to rescue Mira?"

"Oh, you didn't tell me, Lisanna!"

"In such a hurry, how can I tell you that we are siblings? You should understand even if I don't say it."

"How would I understand if you didn't tell me... No, Lisanna, if we keep going like this we'll get stuck in a vicious cycle. We should go check on Mira and Hughes now."

Elfman interrupted the conversation in time. He didn't want to get bogged down in pointless chatter with Lisanna, so he took a few quick strides and ran toward the pit where Hughes and Lisanna were lying.

Lisanna stomped her feet on the ground and quickly followed, her worried expression not stopping her from muttering things like "Elfman is an idiot."

Inside the pit, Mira slowly woke up again, raised her scalded little hand, and rubbed her forehead vigorously, trying to lift the demon arm to push Hughes off her, but found that the arm could not even move.

"Hiss~"

The pain in her arms and body was so intense that she could only relieve it by inhaling.

It wasn't until Lisanna and Elfman came over that the three of them worked together to gently push Hughes off her.

"Elfman, you and Lisanna help me get Hughes onto my back, then gather the supplies; we need to leave immediately!"

"But Mira, what about your health?"

Elfman's thick, dark fingers touched the wounds on Mira's body in the air; they were bright red from being scorched by flames, and some places had already begun to bleed.

"The Vulcans in the forest are social monsters. If they're all attracted here, we'll all die. Stop dawdling!"

Mira looked at the two of them seriously and earnestly. Elfman didn't say anything more and, together with Lisanna, half-draped Hughes on Mira's back.

He turned around and carried Mira and Hughes's bundles on his back; the bundles for the three of them were several centimeters taller than him.

Lisanna, carrying the least burden, led the way, and the three of them cautiously traversed the forest...

......

The sun overhead was slightly off-center. Hughes opened his eyes amidst the throbbing pain. The pain in the back of his head, along with the throbbing pain in his brain after the onset of his illness, caused his eyes to twitch and hiss.

"Elfman and Lisanna didn't mean it, they were just worried you would hurt me!" Mira, who was carrying Hughes on her back, pursed her lips when she heard the noise.
