And I'll give you a bonus: you can burn cards to restore health inside the Divine Soul Tower, as long as you find the statue!"

As for Zhang Dequan, he was overjoyed with the Full Throw after obtaining it. Chen Mo suspected that he might have some card that could be used in conjunction with the Full Throw, or that he was simply happy to see a blue card.

After the deal was struck, Chen Mo ignored Zhang Dequan and went to rest.

Old Zhang was quite sensible; he put away his blue card, moved away from Chen Mo, leaned against the wall, and fell asleep immediately. He was truly carefree.

After such a rest, another day or so would pass.

After Chen Mo's regeneration bottle was restored, he quietly drank it, and his health returned to 91 points.

The full moon outside seemed to have ended, returning to its crescent shape. Even Chen Mo felt that the monster roars coming from afar had subsided.

It seemed it was time to move on. Chen Mo got up and began searching for a way forward, tapping every spot around him with his shield. He even poked the ground several times with his sword.

Chen Mo's actions piqued Lao Zhang's curiosity.

"Hey boss, what are you doing?"

Without looking up, Chen Mo replied, "Finding the way!"

Old Zhang looked puzzled, but still showed respect and didn't ask any more questions.

"I'm going up to fight some monsters, wanna come?"

Upon hearing this, Chen Mo finally turned to look at him. Only then did Chen Mo realize how the other person had obtained so many white cards; it turned out he was treating the Soul Tower like a grinding game.

It seems this person hasn't experienced much of a monster rampage in the rain.

Chen Mo was too lazy to remind him; everyone has their own ambitions, and the monster would teach him a lesson.

Seeing that Chen Mo remained silent, Old Zhang did not try to persuade him further.

"See you next time, boss."

After saying this, Old Zhang quickly left, heading back to the church to continue fighting skeleton monsters, while Chen Mo continued searching for the way.

About an hour after Lao Zhang left.

Chen Mo finally found a different place.

Suddenly, the sword pierced the ground, and it was clearly different from the rest of the place.

Quickly, Chen Mo used his golden sword to dig open the soil, revealing a hole at the base of the wall that led to an unknown destination.

The entrance to the cave wasn't large; it was estimated that only one person could crawl in at a time.

The pitch-black cave resembled a dog hole, and as you continued forward, it became incredibly deep; the only thing you could sense was that you were still going down.

Finally, some light appeared in front of him, and Chen Mo immediately sped up and climbed forward.

Having finally climbed out of the cave, Chen Mo immediately gripped his shield again. Looking around warily, he realized he was in the middle of a cliff, with a narrow walkway beneath his feet leading down the cliff face.

Bathed in moonlight, one could see various caves connecting to walkways around the cliff face. Skeletons moved about, like patrolling soldiers, constantly pacing back and forth. Countless stone coffins on the cliff face could even be seen shaking, their contents unknown.

Chen Mo tried his best to memorize the general route and assess the dangers along the way.

What is certain is that he must leave this place as quickly as possible.

Given this terrain and so many monsters, if a full moon or rain occurs, causing a monster riot, he might not even be able to escape back.

Rest time should be shortened and made as quickly as possible.

Looking down, Chen Mo suddenly noticed a cave in the middle surrounded by no monsters; even skeletons would deliberately avoid it.

I almost got one-shotted by a mob!

Enraged, Chen Mo disregarded how much health he had lost and unleashed a Bloodthirsty Slash, knocking the skeleton back. He then landed back on the walkway and swiftly chopped down the skeleton wielding a spear with a few sword strikes. He then used his shield to block another skeleton monster that had reacted and killed it as well.

His heart was pounding; the two little monsters had almost made him experience death, which was incredibly frustrating.

Moreover, the commotion here immediately attracted the attention of the other skeleton monsters.

They all turned to look this way, and then shrieks rose and fell as various skeletons wielding weapons rushed toward Chen Mo.

Chen Mo gritted his teeth; it seemed that sneaking forward was unlikely.

Stealth is still too difficult for him!

Since that's the case, then he won't hold back.
