Spire Game: My cards are all forbidden divine skills

Chapter 23 Boss Monster: Second Form!

The first thing that catches the eye is a square area, and in the center of the area is the Nest of the Hundred-Eyed Monster.

It is entirely black with a faint glow, and its shape resembles a human brain. It doesn't seem to have any mobility; all it has are eye holes all over its body.

The largest eye hole should be the Eye of Flight, thankfully it was dealt with in advance!

All around it were various black roots that stretched from the ground up the high wall, intertwining with the thorns.

The thorns here seemed to be trembling as if they were alive. When Chen Mo saw this, he did not rush over immediately, but turned around and moved towards the corner.

After sprinting to a corner, Chen Mo chopped off the thorns with his sword, threw the thorns in front of him despite losing health, and then hid in the corner, shrinking behind his shield.

Of course, he wouldn't attack first in the first round. The notes clearly state that the monster tide should first devour the "fear" of the Hundred-Eyed Nest.

Chen Mo had already experienced this move once; not only was it highly damaging, but it also plunged people into darkness and caused hallucinations.

The Flying Eye almost embarrassed Chen Mo with this move; if the leader monster, the Hundred-Eyed Nest, had used it, it would have been even more terrifying.

Chen Mo peeked out from behind the shield and saw the monsters rushing in attacking wildly. Several insect hunters rushed in front of him, also attacking the shield, but they couldn't hurt him.

Chen Mo even hoped to use the two insect prey to conceal his figure.

The leader monster, the Hundred-Eyed Nest, was not to be trifled with. Seeing that the monster horde was about to rush towards it and harm it, the Hundred-Eyed Nest instantly activated a large-scale fear effect without hesitation.

A flash of black light appeared, and this time Chen Mo saw it clearly. It was a black light emanating from the Hundred-Eyed Nest, completely enveloping the monsters.

The monsters immediately stopped and began roaring as they slaughtered each other.

At the same time, those small eyes were constantly releasing scorching light, frantically clearing away the monster tide. The insect hunters in front of Chen Mo were scorched and immediately fled in panic.

Chen Mo's gaze darkened slightly, and his pupils contracted.

As expected of the leader monster, it is indeed powerful!

With just this one move, it can stop the monster tide and is not afraid of any monster uprising.

No wonder it became the leader monster; if it weren't strong enough, it wouldn't be able to hold its own in the Death Maze.

Chen Mo was pondering whether or not to rush out now to interrupt the fear of the Hundred-Eyed Nest.

Otherwise, if he waits until the strange tide is completely cleared before making his move, won't it be too late?

As he was pondering this, Chen Mo suddenly heard an explosion.

The sound wasn't loud, but it was invigorating.

It's a fungal snail!

A fungal snail, which had been dragged along by a predator, finally couldn't take it anymore and exploded on the spot.

Its explosion didn't have a large sphere of effect, but it happened to hit the Hundred-Eyed Nest.

Fungal explosion, causing 20 damage and 5 poisonings.

Chen Mo wasn't sure if the Hundred-Eyed Nest had taken 20 damage from the explosion, but he was certain it had been poisoned!

As expected, the Hundred-Eyed Nest trembled the next moment, seemingly enraged.

The little eyes flying in the air no longer burned; they flew down directly and exploded at anything strange they saw.

Eye pop!

Each small eye deals 15 points of self-destruct damage.

After dozens of them, the horde of monsters on the ground was basically flattened. Tree crocodiles, insect predators, and beast-devouring creatures could not withstand such damage. The scene was nothing short of a massacre.

The monster corpses scattered on the ground quickly turned to dust, and the tiny eyes flying in the sky also disappeared almost entirely.

Chen Mo's eyelids twitched as he watched. Fortunately, he had chosen a good position and was not hit by the small eye explosion. The closest explosion only kicked up dust onto Chen Mo's shield.

After the monster tide was defeated, the eerie light on the Hundred-Eyed Nest also dissipated considerably. Even while poisoned, the Hundred-Eyed Nest activated its skill: Regeneration!

Visibly, it began to wriggle, as if new little eyes were about to form in the blood holes all over its body, which seemed to be its way of replenishing its blood.

Chen Mo knew he had no choice but to take action!

This situation seems to be the limit that the Strange Tide can achieve.

The opponent's small eyes, fear, and regeneration had all been used; there was no better opportunity.

Standing up, Chen Mo strode forward, accelerating even faster.

Measure the distance, then strike!

Before the Hundred-Eyed Nest could react, I crashed into it, then stabbed it hard with my sword, accidentally popping one of its unformed little eyes.

This move, a sudden and enhanced attack, deals a solid 16 points of damage.

The Hundred-Eyed Nest immediately let out a shriek, followed by a small eye emerging from its body, which then unleashed a scorching light on Chen Mo.

Three points of continuous damage!

Chen Mo ignored it completely, and instead, despite the burning sensation all over his body, he continued to strike with his sword.

9 points of damage, then another 9 points.

He's not afraid to fight to the death right now. Nine points against three points, come on, let's see who goes down first!

After taking several more sword strikes, the Hundred-Eyed Nest finally realized that it would die, and directly manipulated its small eyes to crash into Chen Mo.

Eye pop!

With a loud bang, Chen Mo was blown away.

Fortunately, the shield could still block 8 points of damage. In mid-air, Chen Mo forcibly twisted his body, and the golden sword drew a groove in the ground to stabilize himself.

The Nest of a Hundred Eyes was enraged. It clearly wanted to unleash a fear attack on Chen Mo and brutally kill the human in front of it, but unfortunately, it hadn't recovered from that attack yet.

Chen Mo had clearly anticipated this, and without giving the Hundred-Eyed Nest any time to recover its skills, he charged forward again.

in!

Another sword plunged fiercely into the body of the Hundred-Eyed Nest.

The Nest of a Hundred Eyes trembled violently, but then suddenly "stood up".

Before Chen Mo could figure out what was going on, he saw a large eyeball appear beneath the Hundred-Eyed Nest, which was composed of several unformed small eyeballs gathered together.

Combined attack plus eye explosion!

boom!

With a loud bang, Chen Mo's health plummeted, and his body crashed heavily to the ground, leaving a clear human-shaped imprint on the muddy ground.

This move caught him off guard. He glanced at the panel and was shocked to find that he had lost 60 points of health in the explosion.

so horrible!

He really didn't expect that the Nest of a Hundred Eyes would be hoarding these little things to play with combined self-destruction.

Chen Mo quickly got up and used the regeneration potion without any hesitation.

At 5 points per second, health is rapidly restored.

The blood loss is too rapid; I need to use potions.

However, he didn't believe that such a dirty trick as the Hundred-Eyed Nest could be used a second time!

Chen Mo looked ahead again and found that its main body was also seriously injured. It was clear that the explosion had also hurt it.

This is an unexpected surprise; it's not that it wouldn't eat the food if its eyes exploded.

However, Chen Mo doubted whether it had lost 60 HP as well.

Ok?

Just then, the Nest of a Hundred Eyes suddenly "moved".

Chen Mo gasped as a half-formed eye emerged, quickly merging to form the limbs of the Hundred-Eyed Nest, resembling a human brain sprouting hands and feet.

It was two meters tall, and its eyes only had whites and no pupils, so it didn't seem to emit any burning light. This was the only good news.

Even so, the oppressive aura emanating from the Nest of a Hundred Eyes made Chen Mo feel suffocated.

Damn it, it even has a second form!
