After leaving the training ground, Mikel and Elijah went straight back to their office.

"General, you don't want to go to the medical room. At least get some rest. I'll come back in an hour to tell you about the tasks that need to be completed today. Otherwise, I'll go and complain to the Marshal."

At Elijah's insistence, Mikel had to sit down and rest. He recovered quickly and felt no discomfort.

I think Elijah was making a mountain out of a molehill; he shouldn't always be so quick to tattle.

With nothing to do, Mikel noticed it was already 10:30 on his personal terminal. He remembered how sleepy the male insect looked when he left home; he wondered if he was awake yet.

He chuckled and opened the chat window with the male insect, sending him a message.

My lord, are you awake?

The other end replied quickly, so it seems he really has woken up.

Cheng Chu: [I'm awake. I drank the nutrient solution.]

Mikel: [Hmm]

Mikel sent the message and looked at the message on the male insect. The message first answered his question and then said that it had drunk the nutrient solution.

Mikel belatedly realized that the male insect might want him to praise him.

After thinking about it, Mikel realized that he might be overthinking it.

Staring at the lone "Mm" on the screen, he wondered if it was too brief. Mikel's fingers flew across the chat box as he typed another message.

Mikel: [My lord, have you decided where to go for fun?]

Cheng Chu: [Not yet]

The male insect on the other side seemed to be still hesitating and didn't send a message for a long time.

Mikel didn't urge him.

Elijah then knocked on the door and came in, carrying a document.

"General, this document needs your signature."

Mikel held out his hand: "Give it to me."

Mikel took the document and carefully read through its contents.

After confirming that everything was in order, Mikel pulled out a pen and neatly signed his name in the blank space.

"Beep beep!"

A message popped up on the computer.

Cheng Chu: [I've got it!]

Mikel put down his pen and raised an eyebrow to reply to the message. He was a little curious that the male insect had decided on the location so quickly; he had thought the male insect would be agonizing over it until the afternoon.

Mikel: [Where?]

Cheng Chu: [Lin Shi Xing Beast Garden]

Cheng Chu: [I haven't been to the Star Beast Garden yet, and I'd like to see the animals there. Is that alright, my lady?]

Star Beast Garden?

Mikel stared at the three words, lost in thought. Since witnessing that horrific scene at the Nagamachi Star Beast Park six years ago, Mikel hadn't been to any Star Beast Park.

Seeing that Mikel had signed the documents, he stared blankly at the personal terminal, remaining motionless for a long time. Elijah called out, "Admiral?"

Mikel looked up in confusion: "Hmm?"

Elijah pointed to the signed document: "I haven't received this yet, General."

Mikel then remembered his business and handed the documents to Elijah.

Elijah accepted the document with both hands and respectfully withdrew.

Mikel typed a short reply in the dialog box and clicked send.

Mikel: [Okay.]

……

It's clear that the male insect is really looking forward to going to the Star Beast Garden tomorrow.

Even after Mikel got off work and finished washing up to rest, Cheng Chu was still talking nonstop, as if she had been given a shot of adrenaline.

"Queen, how far is that Star Beast Garden?"

"I don't know either, Master." Mikel pressed the excited male insect onto the bed and covered him with the blanket.

"But we can use our personal computers to check." Mikel also lay down and opened his personal computer to search for the Stingy Star Beast Garden.

Any information you want can be found with a simple search on the StarNet. Mikel clicked into the official website of the Stingy Star Beast Garden.

Cheng Chu leaned closer, the two of them, one human and one female insect, resting their heads together, looking at the screen next to the headboard.

After studying for so long, Cheng Chu still could only guess at the strange characters on the screen and never fully understood what they meant.

Mikel read the information aloud to the male insect: "Master, it says that the distance from our home to the Stingy Star Beast Garden is 2,351 kilometers."

Cheng Chu didn't have a concept of distance, whether it was far or not in the Zerg's sphere. He asked Mikel, "Queen, is it very far?"

"Hmm..." Mikel considered how to explain it to the male insect. After thinking for a moment, he said, "We'll take a flying vehicle. It will take about an hour."

An hour's journey isn't too far.

Cheng Chu: "Then we need to get up early tomorrow."

As if worried that he wouldn't be able to get up, he tugged at Mikel's arm and said, "Tomorrow, Queen, wake me up."

Mikel smiled and said, "Okay, okay, I'll definitely wake you up tomorrow. I hope you won't be unable to get up like you were this morning."

Cheng Chu also remembered how he couldn't get up this morning because he had cried so much yesterday. He felt a little embarrassed and didn't respond to Mikel's words.

Mikel continued scrolling through the page, and the next page showed the announcement for the naming event at the Stingy Star Beast Garden tomorrow for the three newly born Bloodthirsty Beast cubs.

Mikel's finger paused, and the page stopped moving. Cheng Chu looked up at Mikel in confusion, waiting for him to read the contents.

Stared at by the male insect's bright black eyes, Mikel said nonchalantly, "Master, it says there's an event at the Stingy Star Beast Garden tomorrow to name the newborn Bloodthirsty Beast cubs."

Upon hearing this, Cheng Chu nodded and said, "I know about this."

He had already seen GG that morning; he remembered that the Blood Eaters were those three furry creatures that looked a bit like puppies.

"Master, would you like to name them?"

"In no mood."

Mikel: "??"

Cheng Chu looked curious: "I've never seen the animals inside before, so I want to go and see them."

I don't know what's so interesting about the animals in the Star Beast Garden; male insects always have such strange ideas.

"Yes, my lord. It's late, we should go to sleep."

It was getting late, so Mikel shut down his personal computer and prepared to go to sleep.

Turn off the lights, and the bedroom becomes dark.

The silence didn't last long. In the darkness, the male insect beside me began to rustle and thrash about, constantly turning over and pulling at the blanket.

"My Queen, what time should we get up tomorrow?"

"Seven o'clock."

"Queen, what time shall we depart?"

"Eight o'clock, I guess."

"Female Lord..."

"Tsk." Mikel interrupted the male insect impatiently.

He rolled over and pinned the male insect down, his tone carrying a hint of ambiguity and threat: "Master, don't you want to sleep anymore?"

Cheng Chu's heart tightened, fearing he really wouldn't be able to sleep. He quickly lay down obediently, placing his hands peacefully on his chest and closing his eyes: "No... I... fell asleep."

Mikel tucked the blanket back over the now-quiet male insect and prepared to sleep. Just then, the male insect weakly emphasized one last time, "Female, you must wake me tomorrow!"

Mikel: "..."
