Cheng Chu refused immediately, shaking his head: "No, I won't eat."

Then, Cheng Chu watched as Mikel ate several of those cookies one after another. Seeing how much Mikel enjoyed them, Cheng Chu's damn curiosity was piqued again.

However, when Mikel asked, he had already said he wasn't going to eat it, so he felt embarrassed to go back on his word and say he wanted to try it.

He secretly ate a piece while Mikel got up to wash his hands.

The cookies were incredibly sweet as soon as they entered the mouth. Seeing that Mikel was about to return, Cheng Chu chewed them twice and swallowed them whole.
