Gao Wu: I became a saint through daily settlements

Chapter 30 First Steps into the Martial Hall

Following the gatekeeper's directions, Lin Yue entered the Starry Sky Martial Hall.

The main door was a dark gray metal door with no handle or access control; it looked like a solid wall.

As Lin Yue approached, the door slid open silently to the sides, revealing a spacious and bright hall with a light gray marble floor that was polished to a mirror-like smoothness, reflecting people's images.

The ceiling was very high, at least ten meters high, and was covered with a dense array of light strips, illuminating the entire hall.

In the very center of the hall is a huge sculpture—a hand with its five fingers spread out, palm facing upward, holding a ball of flame in its palm. The flame is forged from some kind of red metal, reflecting a flowing luster under the light, as if it were really burning.

Below the sculpture, three powerful characters are engraved:

Tianjingsha

"This... is the legendary strongest, Tian Jingsha?" Lin Yue's heart trembled slightly.

The legends surrounding Tianjingsha are familiar to every martial artist, but the fact that this supreme expert is no longer in the world is quite a pity.

Soon, Lin Yue arrived at the martial arts hall where Tang Long was.

"Palace Master Tang," Lin Yue greeted, cupping his hands in greeting.

"Young friend, you're too kind. Please have a seat." Tang Long said with a smile, his tone exceptionally friendly.

"How's it going? What are your thoughts on signing a contract with our Starry Sky Martial Hall?" Tang Long asked.

"Palace Master Tang, my mother and I have no objections to the signing of the contract, so we can proceed with the signing now," Lin Yue replied.

An A-level contract is something no one would refuse, and Lin Yue is no exception.

"Hahaha, good! Young friend, you are indeed straightforward!" Tang Long laughed loudly.

"Bring the contract here."

Soon, a contract two fingers thick was handed to Lin Yue.

"Mr. Lin, the relevant benefits and obligations are all written here. Please take a look."

Lin Yue turned his head and saw a female secretary in her twenties wearing a black uniform, thin-rimmed glasses, with a curvaceous figure and a professional smile on her face.

"Starry Sky Martial Hall Signing Contract"

Lin Yue only glanced at it briefly; it was a B-level contract, but the difference was all given in Tang Long's name.

"I trust that Lord Tang is a kind person and won't try to cheat me on specific matters."

"Give me a pen, I'll sign it directly," Lin Yue said with a smile.

He understood the principle that he treated me as a national hero, and I should repay him as a national hero.

In less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, Lin Yue had finished pressing all sorts of handprints and signatures.

"Mr. Lin, the contract is in duplicate, please keep it safe." the female secretary said.

"Of course." Lin Yue carefully put the contract away.

1200 million Blue Star Coins annually, plus various resources from the Martial Hall.

Lin Yue tried his best to suppress his excitement and calm himself down.

"Money in hand is real money," he told himself.

"How about we take a tour of our Starry Sky Martial Hall first?" Tang Long said with a smile.

Tang Long was very proud to be able to manage such a large martial arts hall; every blade of grass and every tree here was the result of his hard work.

"Each member of the Starry Sky Martial Hall has their own training room," Tang Long explained.

"The equipment in the practice room can be customized according to individual preferences."

The training room that Lin Yue was assigned to was only a step away from Tang Jingyue's.

Tang Long's purpose was clear: he wanted Lin Yue to provide more guidance to Tang Jingyue on body-strengthening techniques in addition to his own training.

"This is your training room," Tang Long said, pointing to the room in front of him.

"Initially, all equipment was standardized. If there are any special requirements, please feel free to report them to the Martial Hall."

"This is the phone number for the Martial Hall's customer service. Write it down: 182..."

"I have other things to attend to, so please excuse me." With that, Tang Long returned to his martial arts hall.

As the head of a temple, he not only faces pressure from all sectors of society every day, but also has to manage relationships with various universities.

"This training room is really impressive!" Lin Yue exclaimed in surprise as he looked at the spacious room in front of him.

"Technology truly deserves to be called the primary productive force." The various training equipment in front of us are all high-tech products!

The wooden training dummies in the school's practice room are nothing compared to these high-tech products in the Martial Arts Hall.

Lin Yue recalled a line from a novel he had once read.

"The strong will always be strong."

This means that strong people will always be strong.

Why?

The strong can occupy the best resources and have the smoothest path to advancement; it's hard for them not to become powerful.

The weak, with no background or resources, can only rely on their own hard work and struggle, and will perish if they are not careful.

Just like the Qi and Blood Elixir that Tang Long gave him, ordinary families simply couldn't get their hands on it.

Tang Long casually gave away three!

Lin Yue stood in front of a machine designed to train arm strength, eager to try it out.

Fifteen minutes later.

Lin Yue felt a sharp pain in his arm and exclaimed in surprise:

"This arm strength machine really stimulates arm strength far more than bodyweight training."

Lin Yue loosened his grip on the arm exerciser, the muscles in his arms still trembling slightly.

The way this machine stimulates people is unlike any training equipment he has ever used.

Traditional training equipment simply applies weights, while this machine applies irregular pulse resistance during the stretching process, forcing muscles to exert maximum force at every angle.

He did three sets of twelve repetitions each, and his right biceps and triceps muscles were noticeably sore, just like when he boxed until he was exhausted.

It's even better!

"This thing is much tougher than hitting a wooden dummy." Lin Yue stretched his shoulders, and his joints made a few soft cracking sounds.

He turned and walked toward the next piece of equipment, the speed reaction trainer.

This is a cylindrical machine about half the height of a person, with its surface covered with densely packed light-emitting dots. When activated, it will randomly light up different colored dots, and the trainee needs to extinguish them with their hands or feet in the shortest possible time.

Different colors correspond to different striking methods—red light is used with a fist, blue light with a palm, yellow light with an elbow, and green light with a leg.

Lin Yue pressed the start button, the machine made a soft sound, and a red light appeared at the top, which he extinguished with a punch.

A blue dot lights up in the lower left corner; slap it out with a palm. A yellow dot lights up in the upper right corner; sweep it across with an elbow. A green dot lights up directly in front; kick it out with a side kick.

"This equipment is excellent for training flexibility and responsiveness."

This machine is described as a "speed and reaction trainer," but it actually tests the user's coordination ability more.

Because these light spots appear at extremely tricky angles, users with poor coordination are very likely to fall when making movements.

"The speed has increased."

The light spots appeared faster and faster, and Lin Yue's reaction speed also improved continuously. From initial hesitation to later smooth and effortless movements, his body reacted instinctively to the stimulation of the light spots.

"Good reaction speed." A voice came from the doorway.
