Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong

Chapter 79 The Two Sisters' Mischief

The courtyard fell silent.

Wayne sat on the stone bench, staring blankly at the wall for a while. He couldn't, and shouldn't, interfere in the affairs of honest men. Some things are better left unknown than known; knowing them can make life unbearable.

An honest person.

Grassland overhead.

They were sold out and then helped count the money for the seller.

I guess the goddess is making him repay the emotional debts from his youth!

He picked up the teacup; the tea had gone cold, but he didn't mind. He took a sip and put the cup back on the table.

Just as Wayne was dozing off against the stone bench, two figures sneaked into the consultation room.

Wendy was woken up by being touched.

It wasn't the kind of accidental touching; it was the kind of open, groping, and exploratory touching.

One hand slipped inside the neckline, while the other reached under the skirt, creeping up the leg. Each hand had a specific task, working in perfect unison as if they had rehearsed countless times.

Wendy didn't dare open her eyes. Her first reaction wasn't fear, but confusion. Who would do such a thing in a church? Then she remembered that she was lying on the bed in the treatment room, with Wayne's coat still covering her. Wayne's coat.

Could the owner of those hands be Mr. Wayne?

My heart started racing.

She recalled the treatment she had just received, the images she had seen, and how she had vaguely said she had seen a goddess.

If Mr. Wayne really… what should she do? Push him away? Don’t push him away? Countless thoughts flashed through her mind in that instant, finally converging into one conclusion: continue pretending to be asleep.

Then two hands appeared on his chest.

Not one, but two.

Ten fingers wrapped around from both sides.

Wendy was startled and finally opened her eyes.

Emma's face was very close.

Her round, pale red eyes were filled with curiosity, like a cat examining a new toy. She remained in the same position, one eye inside her collar and the other under her skirt, lying on the edge of the bed.

"Wendy, you're awake," she said.

Wendy opened her mouth, but no sound came out. She looked away from Emma's face and glanced to the side. Ella stood on the other side of the bed, clutching Wayne's coat and holding it up to herself. Her ears were red, but her expression was serious.

"Ella...?" Wendy asked, puzzled.

Ella looked up and glanced at Wendy.

"Hmm, the clothes are dirty, I'll wash them for you, Master."

She folded her coat and held it in her arms.

Wendy glanced down at her shirt. The buttons were still undone, from the collar to her chest, not a single one was fastened. Emma's hand had slipped inside from there. Her face flushed instantly, and she frantically grabbed the blanket, pulling her shirt down to her chin.

Emma tilted her head to look at her.

"Wendy, your skin is so white."

Wendy gripped the blanket even tighter.

"How...how did you get in?"

"The door wasn't locked," Emma said.

"The door wasn't locked?"

"Yeah, we didn't lock it when we came." Emma blinked. "Wendy, why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"I'm wearing it!" Wendy's voice rose half an octave, then quickly fell back down. "I just... didn't button it up."

"Oh." Emma nodded, as if processing the information. "Then why aren't your buttons up?"

Wendy opened her mouth.

She couldn't very well say it was because she had just been receiving treatment, because Mr. Wayne's hand was on her, or because she had untied herself. If she said it, it would sound like she had undressed in church. Even though that was the truth, it wouldn't be right to say it aloud.

"Because...because it's hot."

She finally managed to come up with a reason.

Emma looked out the window.

The window was open, and the evening breeze blew in, causing the curtains to sway gently. The wind was cool, carrying the chill of late autumn. She glanced at Wendy again; Wendy's shirt was pulled up to her chin, but her exposed belly was shivering slightly.

"It's not hot," Emma said.

Wendy pulled her clothes up even higher.

"Now...now it's too cold."

Emma said "Oh" without asking any further questions, but her gaze never left Wendy's face, moving from top to bottom and from bottom to top, as if searching for something.

"Wendy," she said. "Your face is so red."

"Is that so?"

"Hmm, her ears are red too."

Wendy instinctively raised her hand to touch her ear; it was burning hot.

"Did Master treat you just now?" Emma asked.

Wendy's fingers stiffened for a moment.

"……Um."

"The same treatment as mine and my sister's?"

Wendy didn't know how to answer.

She had neither seen nor heard of Emma and Ella's treatments. But she knew what Ella was asking; the look in those pale blue eyes was not something a little girl should have.

"Hmm." Wendy responded vaguely.

"Oh." Emma nodded, as if confirming something.

She pulled her hand out of Wendy's collar, took a half step back, tilted her head to look at Wendy's face, and then at her hand clutching her clothes.

"Wendy, are you feeling comfortable?"

Wendy's face flushed even more.

"W-what?"

"Treatment, huh?" Emma blinked. "Was it comfortable when Master treated you?"

Wendy opened her mouth. She wanted to say "comfortable," but the word caught in her throat. She was once the daughter of a nobleman, raised to be dignified, reserved, and well-behaved. Saying "comfortable" would be too direct, too frivolous.

Saying you're not feeling well is lying.

Her body's previous reactions didn't lie.

The recurrent coma says it all.

"It's...it's alright," she said.

"Not bad?" Emma tilted her head.

"So you're feeling uncomfortable?"

"no!"

Wendy's voice rose half an octave before softening again.

"It's...it's alright."

Emma looked at her for a while, then suddenly smiled. Two little tiger teeth appeared, and her eyes curved into crescent moons.

Wendy, your face is so red.

Wendy turned her head to the side.

"no."

"have."

"no."

"Yes." Emma leaned closer, lowering her voice by half an octave. "Wendy, don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

Wendy looked at her from behind the covers.

"Tell others what?"

"Tell others you feel comfortable," Emma said matter-of-factly. "It's our secret."

The panel popped up in Wayne's eyes.

[Emma - Logical Closed Loop]

[Current Status: She feels very considerate. In her view, comfort is something that needs to be kept secret, because the women who come for treatment all leave the treatment room with expressions that say, "I'm comfortable, but I'm fine." She summarizes this pattern as: Comfort = Secret.]

[Note: She is using her limited understanding to comprehend the world. The conclusion may not be correct, but the process is very earnest.]

[Also: She was pondering a question. If pleasure is a secret, then why do those women make it so obvious? She couldn't figure it out. She decided to stop thinking about it.]

Wayne looked puzzled...?

Who is this girl chatting with this time?

Emma jumped off the edge of the bed.

"Wendy, why don't you sleep a little longer? We're going to do the laundry."

She took the coat from Ella, hugged it to her chest, and took her sister's hand as they walked out. At the door, she turned back and winked at Wendy.

"Wendy, call us next time you get treatment!"

"What do you want?"

"We'd like to give it a try too."

Wendy did not answer.

Seeing that Wendy remained silent, the two little ones quickly left.

The room fell silent. Wendy remained unsettled for a long time, recalling what had happened two hours earlier.

Seeing that no one was in the examination room, she locked the door.

She decided to thank the goddess for her blessings once again.

She believes that bringing joy to believers is also part of Goddess's grace.

Meanwhile, the scenery along the way to Kant is quite different...
