Time quickly passed to the next day.

Frosttown awoke from last night's revelry. Some woke up on the tavern floor, some in the roadside ditch, some in someone else's bed...

The church is open.

Vera and the other two returned early.

Vera was cooking porridge in the kitchen, while the two little ones squatted by the well washing their faces; their hair was still messy.

Business as usual.

But in the eyes of some individuals...

Everything is a little different.

In Frosttown, there are only a handful of people who can discover Wayne's secret.

Wendy is one.

Her voyeuristic eyes could see fragments of the future; the church's clinic had practically become a tourist attraction in her mind. Unfortunately, this girl lacked mental fortitude; every time she saw a crucial scene, she would blush and her heart would race, then she would deliberately cut off the observation to thank the goddess.

Emily is one of them.

Her shadow was far more dedicated than she was; wherever there was light in the consultation room, there was shadow, and wherever there was shadow, there was recording. She would say she wouldn't peek, but she always contradicted herself.

The good news is that she has obsessive-compulsive disorder and is only interested in things she wants to try; she doesn't care about other people's business.

The bad news is that she's interested in everything Wayne does.

Urasu can be considered one in a certain sense.

She doesn't need to foresee the future, nor does she need to wait for shadows to push messages; she only needs to glance at you to read what's on your mind. And her favorite characters to read are Emily and Wendy.

As for Dora? Her bird needs to sleep at night. Expecting her to discover the secret is less desirable than expecting Wilford to quit Turmeric Street.

Of course, no one would be so bored as to spend an entire day doing nothing but staring at a priest.

and so……

Wayne's secret is safe for now...

I guess so?

Wendy didn't foresee anything last night.

These past few days, the Goddess of Gratitude has left her exhausted, and she's been lying in bed asleep early. To be precise, she's basically been lying in bed all these days.

But Emily was different.

As a firsthand observer.

She had to admit that Wayne was quite talented and authoritative in the field of healing diseases.

Last night's treatment was very successful.

He didn't lay a finger on her; he was proper and respectful from beginning to end. The scriptures were placed on the bedside table, and the holy water was on the table. He looked exactly like a proper priest.

After a series of treatments...

The three sisters' symptoms did indeed improve.

This is the truth.

You could tell from their expressions when they left the church.

However, the feedback was quite clear.

The sudden realization that everything was falling into place left the three sisters flustered and embarrassed in front of Wayne.

After the morning prayers ended, the crowd poured out of the church.

Wayne stood at the door, seeing off the last few believers, then turned and walked back. A panel popped up in front of him.

[Frosttown Morning News]

[First item: Leon - Status Update]

The time he had left to become a man was getting shorter and shorter. Ace cherished every moment Leon was still a man more and more. The first thing he did every morning was rush into Leon's room to make sure the other man was still his brother.

[Ace's inner thoughts: He was considering something. If Leon really did become a woman completely, shouldn't he, this homosexual, also reform? He thought about it all night, and the conclusion was that it wasn't entirely unacceptable. He was even somewhat looking forward to it.]

[Note: My best buddy is going to become a woman, and the gay man is going straight. This story is unfolding rapidly. Ace has already started secretly reading "How to Get Along with Women."]

[Second item: Lance - Itinerary Update]

[Message Two: Lance and his group have departed from the border of Kande and are expected to arrive in Frost Town tomorrow. They are accompanied by the remaining five paladins and thirteen members of the Shurasha gang. Leader: Hena. Demon Possession - Shurasha's Body.]

[Third update: Mayfair - Encounters on the Road]

Mayfair and her two companions are on their way to Kansas. Kai'Sa just beat up a traveling drug dealer.

[Note: That traveling merchant is the same one who sold Charman the aphrodisiacs. His business philosophy is: cheat if you can, run if you can't, and kneel if you can't run. Today he knelt, kneeling before Kasha, his face covered in snot and tears. Kasha punched him again. "If kneeling worked, what would be the point of fists?"]

Wayne paused for a moment after reading the last line.

Lance is coming.

Six paladins, thirteen woman traffickers, and one demon.

This lineup.

He leaned against the corridor wall and looked at the information on the panel again. Lance and his men were coming, bringing with them an entire camp of women and a human trafficker leader possessed by a demon.

He looked down at his hands.

Fourth order.

Is that enough?

Whether it's enough or not, you'll only know after you've used it.

Footsteps came from the other end of the corridor.

Emma peeked out from around the corner. Her light red hair was neatly combed today, with a single tuft sticking up from the top of her head and swaying in the morning breeze.

"Master, Vera said the porridge is ready and asked me to come and call you."

"They're here."

Wayne straightened up from the wall and followed Emma into the kitchen.

The aroma of rice porridge wafted from the kitchen.

Vera stood by the stove, stirring the pot with a wooden spoon. When she saw Wayne come in, she put the spoon down on the edge of the pot and wiped her hands with her apron.

"Sir, we added sweet potato to the porridge today. It's sweet, please try it."

"it is good."

Wayne sat down in the main seat, picked up the bowl of porridge, and took a sip. The sweet potato had melted into the porridge, and every bite was naturally sweet.

Ella sat quietly next to him.

Vera brought over a dish of pickled radishes.

"Sir, did the triplets from the tavern come to the church last night?"

Wayne picked up a piece of radish and put it in the bowl.

"Um."

"I heard they were sick, did you treat them?"

"Um."

Vera nodded and didn't ask any more questions.

Emma sat opposite, a mouthful of porridge in her mouth, her cheeks bulging, her pale red eyes darting back and forth between Wayne and Vera.

"Vera."

"Um?"

How did you know the triplets came to church?

Vera wiped her hands on her apron twice.

"I heard it from someone when I was coming down the mountain."

Emma swallowed the porridge and placed the spoon on the rim of the bowl.

"Who told you that?"

"I met him on the way."

Vera glanced to the side.

Emma stared at her for a couple of moments, then didn't ask any more questions. She lowered her head, shoveled the last two mouthfuls of porridge into her bowl, wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, and looked up, her eyes bright.

"Owner."

"Um."

"Christina broke through yesterday."

Wayne put down his bowl of porridge.

"A breakthrough?"

"Yes! Fourth tier!" Emma's voice rose half an octave, filled with the excitement of "I saw it with my own eyes." "It happened last night. When we were on the mountain, we heard people in the hall shouting, 'Big Sister has broken through! Fourth tier! Fourth tier!' It was so lively."

Ella nodded beside her, as if to testify.
