After drinking the two bottles of recovery potion, most of the depleted physical strength was instantly replenished, and even some minor scratches and bruises were healed.

"Have you finished your little tricks?" Quilt watched with great interest, then suddenly raised his hands and clapped. "Well then, the real show begins."

Snapped!

The snap of fingers was short and crisp, and it rang out abruptly.

The sound instantly drowned out the whooshing sound of the torrential rain, the rushing sound of the heavy rain, and all the background noise of the world.

Immediately afterwards, an endless darkness began to rapidly extend outward from where Quilt was standing, covering the streets, walls, and even all the buildings.

Silence—that was the only thing one could feel in the pure black space.

It was so quiet; all external sounds were completely cut off, creating an unsettling sense of deathly stillness.

Morian cautiously looked around. In this pure darkness, he had completely lost his sense of direction and dared not act rashly.

Suddenly, several bright beams of light shone down from above, instantly dispelling most of the darkness. Morian then realized that he was no longer standing on the familiar streets of Bet City, but on a spacious theatrical stage!

The dark curtains on both sides of the stage slowly opened to the left and right, revealing a row of "audience seats" extending upwards. The seats were filled with densely packed "audience members," but their faces were obscured by a layer of gray mist, making them indistinct.

All the beams of light eventually converged, focusing on a single point and illuminating Quilt's silhouette.

He had already changed his clothes, putting on an extremely flamboyant and comical clown costume, with pale oil paint on his face and a smile painted on his lips. Beside him was a "lottery wheel" painted with various strange patterns.

"Does it seem strange? Are you losing sight of reality?" Quilt's smile beneath his red nose was incredibly exaggerated, his desire to perform was visibly on full display. "That's why I said the show has only just begun."

He bowed slightly, making a welcoming gesture, as if he were the master of the stage.

"Welcome to my personal stage."

Quilt looked away, reached out and spun the lucky wheel hard. The two pointers on the wheel began to spin counterclockwise, quickly passing over patterns such as "dice," "playing cards," and "magic hat."

The final image focuses on two squares printed with boxing gloves and pointed leather boots, and the pattern glows faintly!

Power and speed!

The moment the pointer froze, Morian wanted to step forward and interrupt, but his vision was taken over by a fist that grew larger at the speed of light, heading straight for his face.

boom!

Click!

A crisp cracking sound rang out, and fragments of the mask scattered on the ground.

The powerful impact sent him flying backward several meters as if hit by a speeding carriage, crashing into the edge of the stage, leaving cracks on one side of his pure white mask.

"It's you?!" In the center of the stage, Quilt's flamboyant smile froze as he finally connected the face in front of him with the blurry face in the divination.

Morian coughed twice, half-kneeled and got up, revealing his young face beneath the shattered mask.

"Foolish! Pathetically foolish!"

Quilt, who had remained composed throughout, burst into laughter, a mocking tone in his voice. "Challenging the strongest in the organization like me, just to avenge a dirty vagrant?"

"How will you know if you don't try?" Morian gave a bitter laugh, his left hand reaching into his robes again.

This time, what he pulled out was not a potion, but a scroll with lightning runes drawn on its surface.

The reel unfurled rapidly, and dazzling electric light appeared within it.

Countless arcs of electricity erupted from it, and incredibly violent lightning elements raged across the charred stage, crackling and popping as they surged, engulfing the figure dressed in a clown costume along with the thick bolts of lightning that descended from the sky.

Sizzle—Boom!

The torrent of lightning engulfed Quilt, and the shockwave forced Morian back several steps.

He had to raise his hand to shield his eyes, not daring to look directly at the dazzling light, and could only squint through a narrow crack to see what was happening.

As the light faded, Quilt's figure reappeared.

The surroundings were a mess, and the dark marks on the stage proved that the lightning had indeed hit him, but he was still standing there. His clown costume looked slightly damaged, and a colorful acrobatic ball on the waist of the costume was completely gone, but he was otherwise unharmed!

Unique life-saving technique – "Substitute Color Ball"!

Upon seeing this, Morian instantly understood why his previous slash had been ineffective. The colorful ball was not a decoration at all, but a tool to take the fatal blow!

Five colored balls... Two were used up in the two attacks just now, leaving three!

We can't give him another chance to spin the roulette wheel!

Morian gritted his teeth, gripped his longsword which had lost its enhancement, and hurled it fiercely at the roulette wheel.

He approached Quilter at a speed far exceeding his usual pace, and slapped Quilter's chest with his right hand in a loose grip.

"Absorb".

Upon brief contact, a faint spiritual energy was forcibly absorbed.

Morian clearly felt that his dried-up spiritual lake had been replenished, not by much, but it was as timely as a godsend.

Unfortunately, the thrown weapon broke into several pieces and fell to the floor as if it had hit an indestructible wall when it came into contact with the surface of the roulette wheel.

As expected, weapons that have lost their extraordinary enhancements are too fragile and cannot compete with derivatives of extraordinary abilities, unless they are alchemical weapons that have undergone special forging treatment, which are hard enough.

However, the longsword, having lost the wolf spirit's support, shattered instantly upon hitting the wheel, just as if it had struck an indestructible wall.

"Heh, it doesn't bother me at all." Quilt showed no anger at being offended, but instead, with the composure of a cat playing with a mouse, he took the initiative to pull open the coat of his costume to reveal the lining underneath.

The inner pockets of the jacket were filled with throwing knives and round bombs of various colors!

He casually picked up a few explosive bombs and threw them around.

boom! boom! boom!

The bombs exploded upon landing, some bursting into thick, grayish-white smoke, some releasing pale green toxic gas, and others exploding into high temperatures and fire waves.

Using the smoke and poison gas as cover, Quilt, dressed in a brightly colored clown costume, quickly disappeared into the chaotic area.

To reduce the inhalation of the poison gas, Morian held his breath and drank another vial of recovery potion to dispel the dizziness caused by the gas.

Suddenly, a strong sense of crisis surged up, and a premonition of danger was frantically "alarming"!

He lunged to the left almost instinctively, disregarding his appearance in the face of danger.

Several gleaming throwing knives swept overhead and disappeared into the thick smoke, failing to hit their targets directly.

However, as soon as Morian got up from the ground, he strangely felt a cold pain in his limbs.

Excruciating pain!

Morian groaned and knelt down on one knee. Four wounds appeared out of nowhere on his clothes, as if they had been cut by sharp blades, and blood seeped out.

Moreover, judging from the amount of spiritual energy contained in this attack, Quilt's power seems to have increased significantly compared to before.

On this stage, can he become stronger over time or as the "performance" progresses? Why?

Morian pondered painfully, his gaze sweeping over the blurry shadows of the "audience" below the stage, and he realized a detail he had overlooked.

Quilt is more than just a "clown"! He's also an "actor"! An actor needs a stage and an audience.

And because the audience is watching and cheering, the actors will perform even more energetically and in better condition!

In other words, on this stage, these blurred spectators probably symbolize "watching" and "expectation," which makes Quilt grow stronger as the performance continues.

If left unchecked, his power will continue to grow, and may even eventually approach the unseen Lv3 level!
