The car turned a corner on the mountain road, and the view ahead suddenly opened up.

A fairly large parking lot with a sign next to it that reads "Yunshan Glass Skywalk".

"We're here! We're here!" Yang Xiaotao cried out, her eyes shining as she clung to the car window.

Chen Xun parked the car, and the four of them got out.

The air in the mountains is indeed different. Take a breath, and it's cool and refreshing, with a hint of leaves and soil.

Yang Xiaotao jumped up and down as soon as she got out of the car, Lin Xinyue took out her DSLR camera from the trunk and hung it around her neck, while Li Qian stood by the car, looking at the surrounding terrain and the scattered tourists.

"Let's go buy tickets." Chen Xun led the way to the ticket office.

Tickets aren't cheap, eighty yuan per person.

Yang Xiaotao muttered, "This money could buy so many packs of spicy strips."

Lin Xinyue had already quickly scanned the code and paid for the four people: "When you're out having fun, don't worry about the bills, just have fun."

Li Qian didn't say anything, but just looked up at the road leading up the mountain.

The plank road is built on the mountainside, and you have to climb a set of stone steps to get there.

At first, Yang Xiaotao was the most enthusiastic, climbing up the steps with great speed, her yellow hair bouncing up and down.

Chen Xun followed behind her. Lin Xinyue walked and stopped with her camera, snapping photos of the mountain scenery and the distant clouds. Li Qian walked at the back, her steps steady, but her eyes never stopped, looking at the road, the stalls on both sides, and the ages and groups of tourists going up and down the mountain.

After climbing for about twenty minutes, Yang Xiaotao's pace slowed down noticeably.

"Huff...huff...Big brother, these steps...why is this never going to end..." she gasped for breath, holding onto the railing beside her.

Chen Xun turned to look at her, his face was flushed, and sweat was beading on his forehead.

"I always make sure you exercise more," Chen Xun said, reaching out to grab her arm. "Here, hold on tight."

Yang Xiaotao immediately offered her hand, using the momentum to climb up, almost leaning against Chen Xun.

"Big brother is still the best." Her voice softened.

Lin Xinyue, who was following behind, raised her camera and pointed the lens at the backs of the two people standing close together in front of her.

She paused her finger on the shutter button for a second, then slowly moved it away, turned to a pine tree next to her, and snapped a picture.

Li Qian walked up from behind, holding an unopened bottle of mineral water that appeared out of nowhere.

She walked past Lin Xinyue to Chen Xun and Yang Xiaotao and handed them the water.

"Have some water," she said.

Yang Xiaotao took the bottle, unscrewed it, and gulped down several mouthfuls: "Thank you, Sister Qian! When did you buy this water?"

"Just from the stall downstairs," Li Qian said in a flat tone.

Chen Xun glanced at Li Qian, whose face was expressionless, her purple hair slightly disheveled by the mountain wind.

After resting for a few minutes, we continued upwards.

The closer you get to the boardwalk, the better the scenery. You can see a lush green valley below, and in the distance, a stream that looks like a silver ribbon.

Chen Xun stopped and pointed to the valley: "Look over there."

All three women looked over.

"Our new store thing," Chen Xun said, "is like climbing a mountain. At first, everyone wants to go straight to the top and do a complete renovation of the whole store. It's impressive, but it's tiring, risky, and easy to lose energy halfway through."

He paused, tracing the small, terraced fields scattered throughout the valley: "The 'themed experience area' that Li Qian mentioned is like these small fields. Let's start with one to test the waters; it's low-cost, and if it succeeds, we can gradually expand. The scenery might not be worse than the mountaintop, and it's a safer option."

Yang Xiaotao blinked: "Big brother, what you said makes so much sense, I almost believed it."

Lin Xinyue put down her camera: "So you've made up your mind to start with the experience zone?"

"Yes." Chen Xun nodded. "We'll get started when we get back. Xin Yue, you hurry up and calculate the detailed budget. Xiao Tao, you come up with the design ideas on the way back in the next couple of days. Li Qian, think about the interactive flow. We'll start construction immediately after we get back from our trip."

"Okay." Lin Xinyue took out her phone to make a memo.

"No problem!" Yang Xiaotao perked up again.

Li Qian nodded slightly.

We've finally arrived at the glass walkway.

A transparent bridge hangs over the edge of the cliff, overlooking a deep valley below.

Yang Xiaotao stepped onto the bridge, initially a little timid, clinging to the railing and hesitant to move. After a few steps, finding it quite stable, she immediately perked up and pulled Chen Xun to take a picture.

Lin Xinyue didn't hide this time and took several pictures of them on the boardwalk.

Li Qian didn't go up; she just stood at the entrance of the plank road, watching the people coming and going, and then looked at the other small hill connected by the plank road, and a few small houses on the hill that looked like guesthouses or teahouses.

After descending the plank road, we prepared to return down the mountain via the same route.

The path downhill is more difficult than the path uphill, as the steps are quite steep.

Yang Xiaotao was pulled along by Chen Xun, walking cautiously. Lin Xinyue put away her camera and focused on the road. Li Qian was still walking at the back.

When they reached a particularly steep section, Li Qian slipped and stepped on a loose pebble.

Her body suddenly leaned back.

"Be careful!"

Chen Xun, who was walking ahead, turned around almost simultaneously. His hand moved faster than his brain, and he grabbed Li Qian's arm and pulled her back forcefully.

Li Qian was pulled forward by him and almost bumped into his arms.

The two stood still, very close to each other.

Chen Xun's hand was still holding her arm, and Li Qian's hand instinctively went to Chen Xun's shoulder.

Eyes facing each other.

Li Qian's eyes were beautiful, with slightly light-colored pupils that clearly reflected Chen Xun's face, along with a hint of lingering panic.

A mountain breeze blew by, causing a few strands of her purple hair to land on the back of Chen Xun's hand, making it tickle.

Time seemed to stand still for a second or two.

Then Li Qian looked away, steadied herself, and withdrew her hand: "Thank you."

Her voice remained as calm as ever, as if she hadn't been the one who almost fell.

Chen Xun also let go of her hand: "It's okay. This road is slippery, walk slowly."

"Hmm." Li Qian looked down at the road beneath her feet.

Yang Xiaotao and Lin Xinyue, who were in front, turned around when they heard the noise.

"Sister Qian, are you alright?" Yang Xiaotao asked.

"It's okay," Li Qian said.

Lin Xinyue glanced at Chen Xun, then at Li Qian, and said nothing.

The atmosphere was rather quiet on the second half of the downhill road.

Back in the parking lot, I got into the car.

The air conditioner was turned on, and it cooled down.

Chen Xun started the car and drove out of the scenic area.

After driving for a few minutes, he said, "After hiking today and seeing the scenery, I feel even more strongly that the 'themed experience area' approach is right. No rush, let's take it one step at a time."

Yang Xiaotao leaned against the passenger seat: "I think so too. First, we should create a nice corner to attract young ladies to take photos, and then we'll get traffic."

Lin Xinyue looked at the budget sheet on her phone from the back row: "I've done a preliminary calculation, and it's possible to keep it under 18,000."

Li Qian gazed at the mountain shadows rushing past the window: "I can think of a few simple interactive features, such as a check-in system for small gifts, or a message wall."

Chen Xun looked at the three of them in the rearview mirror.

Although the awkwardness and subtlety from the morning hadn't completely dissipated, and despite the minor incident of physical contact that had occurred on the mountain, the three of them were able to keep up the conversation and think alike when it came to serious matters.

This is enough.

"Let's do it that way when we get back," Chen Xun said. "Prioritize the experience zone. As for Zhou Wenbin, we'll wait for his reply. If he agrees to a profit-sharing arrangement, that would be great; if not, we can still do it ourselves."

None of the three women had any objections.

The atmosphere in the car seemed to ease somewhat because of this shared goal, but it also entered a balance that was not quite the same as before.

Chen Xun said no more and focused on driving.

Outside the window, dusk began to creep in, blurring the outlines of the distant mountains.
