Chen Xun ignored him and walked directly to Yang Xiaotao, pulling her behind him.

"She's my sister," Chen Xun said. "Is there something wrong?"

"Your sister?" Redhead laughed. "That's perfect. We'll be friends with your sister. You, as her brother, shouldn't have any objections, right?"

Another green-haired guy came over and reached out to pat Chen Xun's shoulder.

Chen Xun dodged to the side.

"Don't touch me." Chen Xun's voice was cold.

"Hey, pretty cocky, huh?" the blond guy chuckled. "What, wanna fight?"

Chen Xun glanced at Yang Xiaotao.

She gripped his clothes tightly, her fingers trembling.

"Xiao Tao, you go out first," Chen Xun said.

"Big brother..." Yang Xiaotao's voice trembled.

"Be good and wait at the door."

Yang Xiaotao hesitated for a moment, then slowly moved out, clutching the shopping bag.

"Hey, don't go!" Red Hair reached out to stop him.

Chen Xun grabbed his wrist.

Red Hair paused for a moment, then tried to pull his hand away, only to find he couldn't.

Before he could finish speaking, Chen Xun tightened his grip.

"Ah!" Red Hair screamed, staggering forward as he was pulled.

Chen Xun raised his leg and kneed him in the stomach.

Red Hair groaned and knelt down, clutching his stomach.

"Holy shit!" The blond and green-haired men charged at the same time.

Chen Xun felt as if time had slowed down.

He could clearly see the blond-haired man's punching motion; it was slow and full of flaws.

Chen Xun dodged to the side, grabbed the blond-haired man's wrist with his right hand and twisted it downwards.

"Click."

"Ah—!" the blond-haired man screamed in agony.

Chen Xun released his grip, and the blond-haired man clutched his wrist and rolled on the ground.

Green Hair grabbed a beer bottle from the shelf next to him.

Chen Xun turned around and kicked him in the chest.

Green Hair flew out and crashed into the shelf, scattering snacks all over the floor.

The whole process took less than ten seconds.

All three thugs were lying on the ground.

Chen Xun shook his hand and looked at the dumbfounded cashier behind the counter: "Call the police."

The shop assistant nodded blankly and picked up the phone.

Chen Xun walked out of the convenience store.

Yang Xiaotao stood outside the door, her eyes wide open.

She could barely speak properly.

Chen Xun walked up to her and looked her up and down: "Are you injured?"

"Were you scared?"

She suddenly rushed over and hugged Chen Xun tightly.

Her voice was trembling with sobs, and her body was still shaking.

Yang Xiaotao opened the door and went inside.

She turned around and stood in the doorway looking at Chen Xun.

Chen Xun heard the sound of the door being locked from the inside.

He then went into his room and closed the door.
