Dragon Ball: My power level has been maxed out!

Chapter 61 Why didn't you just do it this way back then?

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..."

The young Namekian broke into a bright smile, his lips parted in a wide grin, and his chest heaved violently.

However, as the smoke gradually dissipated, Dodoria emerged unharmed from the crater.

His armor was covered in dust, but his body was completely unharmed, not even a scratch.

He patted the dirt off his shoulders, a contemptuous smile playing on his lips.

The young Namekian's face changed repeatedly, from flushed to pale, and then from pale to ashen.

"Hey!"

Dodoria touched the ground with both feet and flew over at lightning speed.

His speed was so fast that the Namekian had no time to dodge, and he directly slammed his head into the young Namekian's chest, his forehead hitting his sternum with a dull thud.

He continued charging forward, pulling the Namekian's body backward as well, and the two of them flew out like a cannonball.

"Bang!"

Dodoria pinned the young Namekian to the cliff face, his back slamming against the rock, causing the rock face to crack and rubble to fall from the cracks.

The young Namekian coughed up blood, the blood mist dissipating in the sunlight.

His head slumped limply, his eyes were still open, his pupils were dilated, and he died on the spot.

Dodoria rubbed his head, rubbed his fingers on his forehead a couple of times, and a contemptuous smile appeared on his face.

Elder Muli was completely terrified. He hovered in mid-air, his body stiff, his mouth agape, and his jaw almost dropped. He never expected his opponent to be so powerful.

"Hahaha!" Frieza chuckled, looking up at Elder Mullie in the sky. He tilted his head back, the corners of his mouth curving like a crescent moon. "You understand now, don't you? It's too late to run away now."

He tilted his head.

"Come down first, we can talk things over."

Elder Muli's expression changed repeatedly, from pale to ashen, and then from ashen to deathly pale.

His lips trembled twice, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down.

After a brief moment of stunned silence, Elder Mullie slowly descended from the sky, his feet landing on the ground before Frieza.

His gaze was lowered, and his shoulders slumped.

"You've finally given in." Frieza's smile remained unchanged as he crossed his arms. "That's good."

He paused, his gaze sharpening.

"You destroyed our most important detector, so hand over the Dragon Balls as compensation. You should understand what kind of people we are now. If you resist any longer, these two children won't survive!"

"I can promise to give you the Dragon Balls," Elder Mullie said through gritted teeth, his voice forced out, "but you must promise to spare the children."

"Of course." Frieza smiled like an aunt, her lips curving into a wide arc and her eyes narrowing into slits.

Sabo's smile grew even wider, his mouth stretching almost to his ears.

You actually believed our promise.

Mullie turned to get the Dragon Ball, his steps heavy, each one feeling like he was walking on cotton.

"You should have done it this way back then," Frieza said sarcastically, tilting his head with a hint of mockery in his eyes.

"These bastards!" Gohan couldn't stand it anymore. He was trembling all over, and his voice was squeezed out from between his teeth, filled with an uncontrollable anger.

"Gohan!" Krillin quickly advised, placing a hand on Gohan's shoulder, "Don't unleash your ki! We're no match for them!"

Son Gohan's teeth were clenched so tightly they were grinding together, and his chest was heaving violently.

Klin could feel the muscles in his shoulder twitching and tightening in his palm.

Mullie quickly emerged carrying a Dragon Ball, which was orange-yellow with a red star on its surface, and felt heavy in his arms.

He walked up to Frieza, handed him the Dragon Ball with one hand, his face filled with humiliation and resentment.

"Take the Dragon Ball and get out of here quickly." His voice was hoarse, and his gaze was lowered.

A henchman quickly stepped forward to take it, accepting the Dragon Ball with both hands, holding it in his arms, and stepping aside.

"Thank you for your hard work." Frieza's lips curled into a wide smile, his eyes narrowing into slits. "Could you also tell us where the remaining two Dragon Balls are?"

"Wishful thinking!" Elder Mullie roared, his voice booming like thunder. His fists clenched so tightly his knuckles cracked. "We Namekians would rather die than betray our comrades! You'd better leave now!"

"So you're the same way." Frieza gave a regretful smile, tilted his head, and there was a hint of fake regret in the curve of his mouth. "No one on this planet would betray their friends."

His smile slowly faded, and his gaze turned cold.

"Then I'll have no choice but to kill you and the children!"

"What...what did you say?" Elder Muli's face drained of color instantly, and his pupils contracted sharply.

"Bang!"

Dodoria launched a swift attack, his foot lightly touching the ground as he launched himself forward.

With a light, seemingly casual flick of his fist, he delivered a powerful, dull punch that knocked Elder Muli to the ground.

Elder Mullie's body flew backward and crashed heavily to the ground, his back hitting the ground with a dull thud.

He gritted his teeth, got up from the ground, and a trickle of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth.

"Didn't we have an agreement?" Mullie gritted his teeth, questioning angrily, his fists pounding the ground, his body trembling slightly. "Hand over the Dragon Balls and we won't be killed!"

"But," Frieza chuckled, spreading his hands and slightly raising his chin, "what's the point of having seven Dragon Balls? You destroyed our detectors, so if you don't tell us where the other Dragon Balls are..."

"I said it," Mullie interrupted Frieza, his voice hoarse but firm, "I would rather die than betray a friend!"

"Then so be it." Frieza sneered, his lips curling into a sneer. "Go to hell!"

"Lord Frieza," Sabo asked, turning to look at Frieza, "is there no detector to find the Dragon Balls?"

"Only two Dragon Balls left." Frieza smiled confidently, arms crossed. "As long as we find other villages or Namekians, we'll be fine."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over Mullie and the two Namekian children.

"Kill all three of them!"

"Yes!" Dodoria nodded, revealing a ferocious smile, his mouth stretching to his ears, and the fierce light in his eyes like two knives.

"Run, children!" Murray whispered through gritted teeth to the two children behind him, his voice urgent.

"Yes!" The two children nodded repeatedly in fright, their faces pale, and hurriedly fled in panic, their steps unsteady.

"I'll show you the power of the Namekians!" Elder Mullie roared, raising his hands high, his arms outstretched towards the sky, palms open, intending to attract Frieza and the others' attention.

His body blocked the children's escape route, like a wall.

"call out!"

Frieza unleashed a burst of energy from his hand and flicked his finger.

A bright white beam shot out from his fingertips at a speed too fast for the naked eye to follow.

The beam of light passed by Elder Mullie, whistling sharply as it struck one of the Namekian children.

The Namekian child didn't even have time to utter a sound before his body was pierced by energy, killing him instantly.

Its small body fell to the ground, splashing up a cloud of grass.

Elder Muli was startled; his pupils contracted sharply, and his lips trembled slightly.
