After being reborn, I have seven older sisters.

Chapter 46 I'm just a little nearsighted, not blind!

"What are you doing in here? Get out of here right now, I need to talk to your brother Chunsheng!"

When Zhang Junwu discovered that his sister had inexplicably followed him into the house, he wanted to kick her out because he really didn't know what Chunsheng wanted to say to him.

Junwu always doted on his younger sister, so over time it became a form of spoiling.

Upon hearing that her brother wanted to kick her out, Zhang Junying said with a reluctant expression, "I also want to hear what you two have to say!"

Zhang Junwu said with a wry smile, "What are you, a little girl, supposed to listen to when adults are talking?"

Hearing this, Zhang Junying became even more unwilling. "Brother Chunsheng is only one year ahead of me, he's not exactly an adult yet. Besides, what's wrong with listening to you two talk? It's just about your martial arts practice, what's wrong with listening to that!"

Zhang Junwu glanced at his sister, then looked at Chunsheng with a helpless expression and asked, "Are we going to talk about learning martial arts?"

Chunsheng shook his head.

Just then, Zhang Junwu's mother suddenly walked in and immediately pulled her daughter, Zhang Junying, out.

As they walked, she kept grumbling, "I told you to buy a bottle of vinegar and you haven't shown up in ages. Where's the vinegar you ordered?"

Zhang Junying immediately pulled her hand away from her mother's and shouted, "Oh dear, I forgot! I'll go buy it right now!"

After his sister left, Zhang Junwu smiled apologetically and said, "I've spoiled my sister since she was little, please don't mind!"

Chunsheng quickly shook his head, "No, that's not true, Brother Junwu!"

Immediately afterwards, Chunsheng told Zhang Junwu everything he had seen in his private plot that morning.

However, he did not say that he suspected those small holes were traces left by a Luoyang shovel.

He was worried that Junwu would ask how he knew about the Luoyang shovel, and how he was so sure that those small holes were traces left by the Luoyang shovel.

If Junwu asks that question, he'll definitely be unable to give a clear answer, which will only make the whole matter more complicated.

After listening to his story, Junwu lowered his head and pondered for a moment, then immediately stood up. "Tell me the location of your family's private plot of land, and I'll go take a look right now!"

Chunsheng quickly asked, "Aren't you going to eat?"

Junwu shook his head, looking preoccupied. "I'm not eating. I'll go check it out first!"

"Then I'll take you there!"

"Okay, then you should take me there, otherwise I'm really afraid I won't be able to find the place."

After Zhang Junwu and Chunsheng came out of the house, they greeted their mother and said that there was something urgent at the militia team and that they had to go out for a while. They asked their mother to leave them some food and that they would come back later to eat.

When Junwu followed Chunsheng to the private plot of land, he was immediately dumbfounded when he saw the small, straight, and smooth-walled holes on the ground.

"These holes were indeed man-made, but I'm not entirely sure what they were made of."

"A few days ago, when I was training with Zhao Yongjie and the others, he told me that around the ancient tomb that was robbed in their village, they found a lot of small holes about the thickness of a wrist."

"Brother Junwu, do you think these little burrows in my family's private plot are the same as the little burrows near the ancient tombs in Zhao Yongjie's village?"

"I've only heard him mention it twice, but I've never actually seen what those little earthen caves in their village look like!"

After Zhang Junwu finished speaking, he suddenly took a few steps back, circled Chunsheng's private plot of land, and looked at Chunsheng with a puzzled expression, asking a question.

Do you know what this plot of land in your family used to be for?

Chunsheng shook his head. "I don't know!"

Zhang Junwu immediately pressed on, "Do your parents know?"

Chunsheng shook his head again. "He probably doesn't know either!"

Zhang Junwu glanced around and found that within a few miles, almost all he could see were small, undulating mounds of earth, resembling small hills.

Although he had never seen what the ancient tomb in Zhao Yongjie's village actually looked like, he could glean some information from their conversations: it was a small mound of earth that resembled a wild grave.

What I see before me are just little mounds of earth, like wild graves!

The more Zhang Junwu thought about it, the more he realized the seriousness of the matter, and he really wanted to go to the village secretary right now and report it to him.

But then he thought it best to wait until he had some progress before telling the Party Secretary, so as not to cause a false alarm and have the news spread, which would make the militia brothers from other villages laugh at him.

"Chunsheng, I know about this. Let's all go home and have dinner!"

Chunsheng nodded. "Okay, then if you need anything else from me later, just let me know..."

"No problem! Also, before this matter is clarified, please tell your family not to tell anyone else!"

"Don't worry, Junwu. I already talked to my parents about this this morning, and they definitely won't tell anyone."

Zhang Junwu smiled and patted Chunsheng on the shoulder, feeling that Chunsheng was indeed more intelligent than any other child of the same age he had ever seen.

He even knew to remind his parents to keep the matter a secret.

If this happened to other children of the same age, they probably wouldn't remind their families to keep it a secret; instead, they would spread it around as gossip.

After Junwu finished eating at home, he didn't go to work in the fields in the afternoon. Instead, he called a member of the militia from his fourth team, and the two of them rode bicycles and immediately headed to Zhaojiabao Village in Jinsanyu Commune to find Zhao Yongjie.

When school ended in the afternoon, class monitor Hu Aimin informed everyone that it had been confirmed that there would be no electricity tonight, so students who did not live on campus did not need to come to school that night and could study at home.

Upon hearing the news, Chunsheng, Hongqin, and Song Guangliang strolled home after leaving the school. Since they weren't going to school that night, they didn't need to rush as usual.

As the three of them approached Chunsheng's private plot, both Hongqin and Chunsheng involuntarily looked in that direction.

Suddenly, they saw several people walking out of the field and heading straight for the main road where they were.

Hongqin was startled and immediately gave Chunsheng a look, asking him what to do!

Chunsheng shook his head, looking as if it were none of his business.

Hongqin was about to say something when one of the people walking towards them suddenly waved and shouted, "Brother Chunsheng, is that you?"

Chunsheng quickly looked closely and realized it was Zhao Yongjie, the militia captain of Zhaojiabao Village.

"Brother Yongjie, it's me!"

Chunsheng quickly waved to the group and responded loudly.

Hongqin immediately asked in surprise, "So you know each other? Who is that person?"

"The militia captain of Zhao Family Fort Village!"

After Chunsheng finished speaking, he pointed to another person next to Zhao Yongjie and introduced him with a wicked smile, "There's also our village's militia captain, Brother Junwu."

"I can see it! I'm just a little nearsighted, not blind!"

After Hongqin finished speaking, she smiled and rolled her eyes at Chunsheng.
