Urgent! Major plot twist! Watch now!

Yaochi's eyes lit up instantly, and she quickly asked, "Which road is it? Tell me quickly!"

Taibai pondered for a moment and said, "Now it is the time of the great battle between the Yellow Emperor and Chiyou, the human race. Under Chiyou's command, a top-tier powerhouse of the Wu tribe, the Great Witch Jiufeng, was invited. It is known throughout the primordial world that the Wu tribe has unparalleled physical bodies and powerful bloodlines. They are born without a primordial spirit, relying solely on the essence of Pangu's blood to roam the world. Only Jiufeng is the only exception among the Wu tribe throughout the ages. She possesses a complete primordial spirit, and her divine soul is condensed, a unique gift from heaven. The Wu tribe is born without a primordial spirit, but Jiufeng is unique in possessing one. The reason for this is by no means accidental."

Upon hearing this, Yaochi exclaimed in surprise, "Taibai means that Jiufeng is the primordial spirit of Pangu? But Jiufeng is an ancient great witch, with an arrogant and fierce nature. The witch clan and the immortals and gods have always been deeply divided, and their grudges are difficult to resolve. Such an unruly person must be extremely difficult to get along with. If we want to seek her help and obtain the power of the primordial spirit of Pangu, it will be harder than climbing to heaven."

It has never been a secret that the Nine Phoenixes possess a primordial spirit, but no one has ever considered the possibility that it might be related to the primordial spirit of Pangu.

However, where did Jiufeng's primordial spirit actually come from?

From the perspective of a time traveler, Li Taibai knew that this was Pangu's primordial spirit, but it was too weak and not as strong as the Three Pure Ones, so it was not valued.

However, Jiufeng is the dual possessor of Pangu's primordial spirit and Pangu's essence blood, and using this as her only chance to break the restriction on Pangu's Eye!

This is something that cannot be sought from any of the Three Pure Ones, because even if Tongtian saw it, it would no longer belong to Yaochi; that is certain.

Taibai lowered his head and pondered for a moment, having already made up his mind. He then looked up and solemnly replied, "The Great Witch Jiufeng is indeed difficult to negotiate with due to her aloof nature. As the Great Celestial Venerable of Yaochi, Your Majesty's status is prominent. If you were to rashly appear and contact the powerful figures of the Witch Clan, it would be too conspicuous and easily arouse speculation from all sides, exposing our secrets. This matter is extremely confidential and should not be alarmed by others. Therefore, I will entrust the entire matter to you to secretly carry out the negotiations."

Seeing Taibai's calm and composed demeanor, Yaochi felt reassured and nodded gently, "Alright. This matter is fraught with danger and involves great importance, so I entrust it entirely to you. Be careful in all matters. This is a restriction I have crafted; if danger arises, you can break the restriction with a single thought, and I can come to Taibai's rescue at any time!"

Li Taibai spoke softly: "Your Majesty, I will plan the matter of the Nine Phoenixes. Now is the perfect time for Your Majesty to accumulate merit and gather the fortune of the mortal world."

Upon hearing this, Yaochi immediately asked, "Taibai, what should I do?"

Li Taibai immediately said, "Your Majesty, the human race's Jiuli tribe and the Xuanyuan tribe are currently engaged in a decisive battle for supremacy, and the struggle for the Human Emperor has been decided. All the immortals and gods are focused on battlefield achievements and merits, neglecting a supreme opportunity that can easily surpass military gains. In my opinion, Your Majesty should not be preoccupied with the internal strife in Heaven or dwell on the discord among the sages. Come with me to the mortal realm, and once we obtain this opportunity, Your Majesty will be blessed with great merit, and your foundation will be completely secure."

Upon hearing this, Yaochi's eyes revealed a hint of curiosity, and she asked softly, "Oh? The lower realm is currently engaged in a decisive battle between Xuanyuan and Chiyou, and the Chan Sect is the teacher of the Human Emperor. What supreme opportunity could there be? Taibai, why don't you explain in detail what kind of opportunity you are seeking that can help me plan for merit and the fortune of Yaochi Immortal Realm?"

Mrs. Li slowly dissected the pros and cons, the opportunities and challenges involved: "Your Majesty, the human race has always had a major shortcoming, which has shackled the human race and trapped its destiny. The human race still lacks a proper written language."

Li Taibai paused briefly, then continued clearly, "The chaotic divine script we see in the world today contains the laws of the Great Dao, infinitely profound. However, the human race, with its mortal bodies and shallow foundation, has no chance to cultivate and is powerless to bear it, making it impossible to comprehend and use it. The demon race has its own demon script, and since the human race has always been at odds with the demon race, it would never use the demon script to record events. The witch race has its own witch script, as is the case with the Jiuli tribe. None of the scripts in the three realms belong to the human race. The human race can only pass down their knowledge orally, resulting in chaotic record-keeping, which is why they are even inferior to the Jiuli tribe."

Yaochi's heart stirred upon hearing this, and she vaguely sensed the immense mystery hidden within.

"The Jiuli tribe is the offspring of the intermarriage between the Wu tribe and the human tribe. They have always used the Wu tribe's script, while the human tribe currently does not have its own script. Kunpeng once created the demon script and gained merit. In that case, Taibai wants me to scheme for merit by developing the human tribe's script?"

Taibai pressed on, revealing the core essence: "Your Majesty, do you still remember that the three ancient ancestors of humanity merely provided fire, built thatched huts, and wove coarse cloth for the people, yet they moved the Heavenly Dao to bestow boundless merit. This shows that acts that benefit the entire human race and propel its destiny forward have far greater merit than ordinary acts of vanquishing demons. Now, the human race lacks a proper written language. Whoever can establish a proper written language for the human race and pass on the Dao will reap unparalleled merit that spans the millennia of humankind and encompasses the entire human race! This merit is a hundred times greater than assisting in battle or achieving merit through killing, and it is not tainted by any karmic consequences of killing. It is most suitable for Your Majesty."

Yaochi suddenly stood up, filled with shock and joy, nodding repeatedly in praise: "Brilliant! Truly a brilliant plan! Taibai is meticulous and insightful, able to see through this unnoticed, ancient opportunity! Such unparalleled merit, once obtained, will cause Yaochi Immortal Realm's fortune to soar and bestow literary luck upon me. But with such immense merit, are others completely unaware? And how can I secure it?"

Taibai, having already planned everything, calmly replied, "This matter is not difficult. I have already devised a comprehensive strategy. Your Majesty only needs to quietly descend to the mortal realm, find a human with a pure heart, exceptional talent, and an affinity for the Great Dao of Writing, and take him as your personal disciple. Your Majesty will secretly protect and personally guide him, while I will pre-determine and perfect the structure of the writing system. Together, we will help this person comprehend the ultimate principles of heaven and earth and evolve the orthodox writing system unique to humankind. Once the writing system is perfected, this person will lay the foundation for humankind for generations to come, and will be revered by future generations as the Ancestor of Writing, enjoying eternal offerings from the mortal world. As your mentor and guide, Your Majesty will naturally receive a share of the merit from leading the creation of the writing system. Afterward, this Ancestor of Writing will be guided to ascend to the Jade Pool Immortal Realm, and from then on, most of the continuous literary fortune of humankind will steadily flow into the Jade Pool, nourishing the mountains and rivers of the Immortal Realm, solidifying Your Majesty's Dao Fruit, and benefiting you for all eternity."

It is already destined that the human race will be the protagonist of the primordial world. Once written language is established and they are guided to ascend to immortality, the benefits will be immeasurable.

Yaochi was overjoyed, but a few concerns quickly arose: "The plan is perfect and flawless. However, behind the Xuanyuan tribe is Senior Brother Yuanshi, with Guangchengzi personally serving as the Human Emperor's teacher, assisting Xuanyuan in pacifying the world and unifying the human race. Now that I have quietly descended to the mortal realm to seize the core literary merits of the human race and secretly plot the human race's lineage, Senior Brother Yuanshi already harbors resentment and dissatisfaction towards me. He will surely be angered again and deliberately target Yaochi, which will have endless consequences."

Taibai smiled faintly, having already anticipated Yaochi's concerns: "Your Majesty need not be anxious, nor need you worry. This opportunity is not exclusive to Xuanyuan, nor to the Chan Sect. All things in heaven and earth belong to those with virtue, and those with opportunity will obtain it. Currently, the eyes of the Three Realms are entirely drawn to the battle at Zhuolu. All the immortals, powerful rogue cultivators, and unorthodox cultivators are flocking to the battlefield, vying to assist Xuanyuan, aid in the fighting, and seize the military merits and rewards after the war. No one is paying attention to this hidden opportunity of human writing. We should remain still for now, observe the situation, and wait until all the forces have engaged and are too preoccupied to attend to other matters before we act quietly, laying our plans without anyone noticing. This is the principle of 'the law does not punish the masses'!"

When everyone else went to the human race to seek opportunities, your Chan Sect didn't find any, so you can't blame others.

The current Emperor's teacher, the Chan Sect, has seized control of Xuanyuan and the Five Emperors. All opportunities have been given to the Chan Sect. Precisely because there are too many opportunities, they are being overlooked.

Everyone's focused on pacifying the Jiuli tribe right now; no one's even considering anything else.

Yaochi felt relieved upon hearing this and slowly nodded: "Good, then we will do as Taibai says, observe the situation quietly, and act when the opportunity arises."

The battle for supremacy at this time has indeed attracted the attention of all parties in the Three Realms, who all want to seek merit.

Immortals from all sides began to participate and intervene.

Some sent innate military tokens, some sent ancient battle armor, some sent marching formations, and many ancient powerful beings and Golden Immortal cultivators personally descended to the mortal realm to assist Xuanyuan, stabilize the Human Emperor's fortune, and compete for post-battle merits.

Haotian directly entrusted the Nine Heavens Mystic Maiden with the military treatise, and Yinglong of the Dragon Clan also went to assist Xuanyuan. In an instant, the eyes of the Three Realms began to turn to Zhuolu in search of opportunities.

The time has finally come; the time when the law will not punish the masses.

Taibai spoke in a deep voice: "Your Majesty, the time has come. All the immortals and gods of the Three Realms are engaged in the battlefield, and no one is distracted. If we descend to the mortal realm now and act quietly, we will not attract attention or provoke any criticism. I will seek out Jiufeng, while Your Majesty will seek out your disciple!"

Yaochi nodded solemnly without hesitation: "Very good, let's proceed according to this plan."

As soon as they finished speaking, the two transformed into two faint wisps of light, silently leaving the Jade Pool, crossing the sea of clouds, and landing steadily in the human realm. Throughout the journey, they concealed their immortal light and suppressed their holy might, without revealing any trace of their immortality. No one noticed that the Heavenly Venerable and the Star Lord had descended to the mortal realm.

At this moment, on Zhuolu, the flames of war raged, and smoke billowed, obscuring the sun.

The Xuanyuan tribe and the Chiyou Jiuli tribe, each with a million soldiers, faced each other on the twin peaks. Swords and spears gleamed in the sun, horns blared, and battle cries echoed for miles, leaving behind mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

The gods and immortals from all sides secretly assisted Xuanyuan, and everyone was focused on the merits of the Human Emperor after the war, with no one paying attention to anything else.

Yaochi and Taibai avoided the main battlefield and quietly settled in the rear of the human race.

All that could be seen were scattered fertile fields and clusters of thatched huts. The people of the tribe worked at sunrise and rested at sunset. Their customs were simple and honest, but the only problem was the chaotic record-keeping and disordered inheritance.

The two strolled leisurely through the countryside, observing the various aspects of human life along the way, and secretly searching for someone they were destined to meet.

After traveling for several days, I overheard many conversations among the people along the way. They all said that in the village there was a strange young man who never talked about farming, never worked hard, and never sought immortality. He would sit alone in the courtyard, staring blankly at the mountains and rivers, sometimes muttering to himself, sometimes randomly drawing symbols on the soil and rocks. No one understood what he was doing, and they thought he was mentally unstable or crazy. No one wanted to get close to him.

Upon hearing this, Taibai's eyes lit up, and he said to Yaochi, "Your Majesty, there's no need to search any further. One whose heart encompasses heaven and earth, whose mind understands civilization, and whose obsession is to inscribe symbols, is inevitably destined for the Great Dao of Writing. This person is the chosen one we are looking for, the future ancestor of humankind!"

Following the directions of the villagers, the two quickly found a secluded farmhouse.

The courtyard was simple, with the wooden gate half-closed. The flat open space in the courtyard was covered with messy and crude markings and symbols, crooked and disorderly, and most of them had been wiped away, leaving the ground in a mess.

In the center of the courtyard stood a human youth with a simple face, clear eyes, and a profound mind—it was Cangjie.

At this moment, Cangjie frowned, his face full of sorrow. He raised his hand and repeatedly made gestures, carving symbols and then angrily overturning them. He tried again and again, only to be disappointed again and again. He was filled with anxiety, but he never gave up.

Upon seeing this, Yaochi suppressed her celestial radiance and transformed into an ordinary, gentle human woman, dressed in simple clothes, with a peaceful demeanor and no trace of divine pressure.

Taibai also concealed his divine appearance as a star lord, transforming into an ordinary hermit in the mountains, standing silently to one side.

The two slowly pushed open the wooden gate and entered the courtyard.

Cangjie looked up at the sound and saw that the two men had gentle demeanors and kind faces, unlike idle people from the countryside. He couldn't help but feel a sense of respect and asked in a low voice, "What brings you two elders here without warning?"

Yaochi asked gently, "Young man, you sit alone in the courtyard all day, repeatedly drawing these messy symbols, then erasing them again and again, never stopping. What is troubling you?"

Cangjie sighed deeply, his face full of helplessness, and replied frankly, "I was born into the human race and have witnessed my people using knotted ropes to record events. Over time, the ropes rotted and the events were forgotten. The skills of our ancestors, the rules of our tribe, and the harvests of each year were all difficult to pass on, often causing us to miss important matters and suffer greatly. I was anxious and wanted to create a simple set of symbols to transform into writing, so that the human race could record events, transmit messages, pass on skills, and preserve etiquette. But alas, the ways of Heaven are mysterious, and these crude symbols are too rudimentary to bear the principles of Heaven and Earth and the emotions of humankind. The divine script, demon script, and witchcraft runes circulating in the Three Realms are all beyond the comprehension and capacity of the human body. Forcibly borrowing them would only damage the foundation of the human race. I have pondered for many days, repeatedly drawing and deducing, but I still cannot find a way. I am caught in a dilemma, my heart is filled with sorrow, and I do not know where the future lies."

Upon hearing this, Yaochi secretly praised him, thinking him indeed a kind-hearted, compassionate, and exceptionally gifted individual. She nodded slightly and said gently, "So you have the great cause of humanity in your heart and wish to create writing to benefit future generations. Your intentions are commendable, and your merits are promising. You need not worry; this matter is not difficult. I happen to have some knowledge of the laws of heaven and earth and the threads of the Great Dao. Today, I will stay here and personally assist you in comprehending the origin of heaven and earth, and in evolving a unique and orthodox writing system for humanity. This system should be tailored to the very essence of humanity, in harmony with the destiny of humankind, and capable of carrying the principles of the Great Dao while being convenient for all people to use, ensuring its enduring legacy for eternity."

Before Li Bai arrived, he had already worked with Yaochi to develop this script. This script was not based on crude pictographs, but rather on the elegant script of the pre-Qin period that Li Bai knew. It incorporated the spirit of heaven and earth, the shapes of mountains and rivers, and human emotions and principles into the characters. The script was dignified and had a profound charm. It could be used to record events, transmit achievements, carry the Dao, and carry incense offerings. It was far better than the script created by Cangjie in the first era.

In fact, words are not difficult; the difficulty lies in how to convey profound truths.

For example, if you want to write the character "道" (Dao), how do you write it, and how do you convey the meaning of "道"?

It's like a scribble, like Latin script, it simply can't handle it!

Writing is not a simple matter; each character must be able to correspond with the principles of heaven and earth!

If writing only has shape, but lacks principles, doesn't correspond to the universe, and isn't linked to the flow of energy, then it's meaningless.

This kind of writing can only record events, only speak words, and only calculate accounts.

It cannot connect with the Heavenly Dao, cannot be drawn to spiritual energy, and cannot be linked to the laws.

Therefore, no matter how many times an ordinary person draws, it is just a symbol and cannot bear even a fraction of the great Dao.

For example, there are nine very simple characters, "太上老君急急如律令" (Taishang Laojun Jiji Rululing), which, when written out, communicate with the flow of Qi and have immense power. But if you write them out in Latin, they are completely useless!

Therefore, the creation of characters must truly connect with the great Dao of the universe, so that ordinary people can understand the Dao by reading the characters. Merit cannot be obtained by simply drawing a talisman!
