The terrifying heavens inside the box

For two whole days, Wang Hao kept taking pictures of the box with his phone.

The more he filmed, the more his brows furrowed.

The reason is as simple as it gets.

"The box's perspective is fixed on Kurt and the other main characters, so it can only capture the daily life of the little people in the community."

"But filming these everyday moments is so boring, who would watch the edited footage?"

He leaned over the worktable, his fingertips tapping incessantly on the surface, his gaze fixed on the image inside the box.

I originally thought that shooting these "extremely realistic" short films would be a unique and less competitive new path.

But now, even he himself feels like he's yawning from filming, let alone putting it online to attract viewers and traffic, and to carve out a path for himself among numerous videos.

After returning from the cabin in the woods, the five people went their separate ways.

But compared to before, when they were just friends on the surface, their relationship became much closer after that escape.

The RV that took them into "hell" and back has now officially become Kurt's personal property, and the others often come here to get together when they have nothing to do.

"Cool!" Marty said, taking a drag on his cigarette and shrugging.

Horton whistled, his eyes filled with envy.

Diana and Jules whispered to each other and then clapped and cheered.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the side window of the RV. The five people pulled back the curtains and saw a guy who didn't give them a friendly look.

Kurt opened the car door: "What are you doing here? Old man, don't tell me you're trying to back out of that compensation payment."

Despite being arrested, beaten, and tied up once, Modikai still maintained his reckless and unruly demeanor.

He chewed his cigarette, spat a mouthful of red, murky saliva onto the ground, and glanced sideways at the five people in the car:

"I've come here to invite you to visit a wonderful place."

However, given their previous experience, the five of them refused without hesitation.

"That's absolutely stupid!"

"Are you kidding me?"

"Only a madman would go!"

"Are you planning to try another new method of sacrifice?"

Hearing his friends' words behind him, Kurt gripped the hammer tightly and crossed his arms: "Now you heard that! Old man, tell the people behind you that we have no intention of having anything to do with you anymore."

Mordecai scoffed, "Really?"

"Is that really what you think?"

"What if we were to summon... an ancient god?"

"What!" The five men's expressions changed drastically. "Are you all crazy?"

Kurt grabbed Modica by the collar: "You bunch of lunatics! Didn't you think about the consequences of doing that?!"

The other person sneered and pulled his hand away: "I'm just here to let you know. The summoning ritual had already begun when I arrived."

The five of them paled as they recalled the scene of facing the evil god.

"Kurt, what do we do now?"

Seeing everyone looking at him, Kurt lowered his head, gripped the hammer tightly, and made up his mind:

"We have to stop them!"

"Can't we call the police? Let them handle this damn mess." Jules said with a mournful face.

Marty shook his head: "Call the police? What should we say? Will anyone believe us?"

Kurt thought for a moment and said, "We don't know how powerful that sacrificial organization is right now. If they have people in the police station too, then making a phone call won't be very effective."

Diana sighed, "We can only rely on ourselves."

"Don't worry, my hammer is no joke."

Kurt wielded his "magic weapon," which gave the other four men the courage to participate in the operation.

"You heard me? Lead the way, old man!"

Horton got into the driver's seat.

Marty, Dinah, and Jules searched for something in the RV that could serve as a weapon.

Although they knew these things might not be of much use, it was better than having nothing at all.

As the RV drove from the town where Kurt and his friends lived to the nearest city, Modica pointed to a building in the distance.

"That's it!"

"But before you go, I must remind you that the rituals performed there are the complete opposite of sacrifices."

"If the ancient god truly descends, even if the five of you perform sacrifices in the same way again, you will not be able to appease the summoned ancient god."

Kurt looked at Mordechai: "What do you mean by telling us this?"

Before Horton could finish speaking, the vehicle jolted violently, as if an earthquake had struck, and the five people staggered, instinctively grabbing onto their belongings and frantically looking out the window.
