The terrifying heavens inside the box

Chapter 15 Kayako the Justice

There was a little man lying in the attic of the Ju-on House.

With a thought, Wang Hao zoomed in on the view inside the box and finally saw that it was Rika Nishina. Her neck was crooked, blood and tears were streaming from her eyes, her body was wrapped in a plastic bag, and she was sitting motionless against the wall.

"Ouch! How awful! She's completely cold... Wait! How did she die?"

He had just switched over when he discovered that the protagonist of Ju-on was already dead here. To be honest, he was still a little dazed.

"Judging from the situation, it seems like it was Takeo Saeki who did it. Doesn't that just like the ending in the movie?"

"But didn't I already get rid of Kayako? The main character shouldn't be coming back to this house."

"Furthermore, after the protagonist died, the Ju-on world didn't disappear immediately..."

"Or did I guess wrong before? The protagonist can still see the world inside the box even after he dies?"

"But that doesn't make sense! The perspective from the cabin in the woods next door is always following Kurt and his group of five, isn't it?"

Just as Wang Hao was pondering this matter, another strange situation occurred.

The scene inside the box suddenly changed to a completely different one.

"What's going on? Where is this place?"

……

Yuanshan's home.

Yumi Toyama stared out the window. Although she didn't see anything suspicious, she still felt a chill in her heart, as if something was watching her. She subconsciously drew the curtains.

She vaguely guessed that this strange feeling all stemmed from the haunted house she and her classmates had visited a week earlier.

Yumi Toyama had long known how terrible that house was.

Her father, Yuji Toyama, was investigating that house when he eventually resigned from the police force. Years later, he went to that house again and died suddenly at home.

Although her mother never said it, Toyama Itsumi knew it in her heart.

Her father's death was inextricably linked to that house.

Despite this, Toyama Itsumi never intended to go there to investigate.

It wasn't until she entered an all-girls high school that three classmates suddenly came to her and asked her to go with them to the infamous haunted house in the area.

They said that everyone who went into that house had died or gone missing, but the three of them didn't take it seriously at all. Driven by curiosity, they wanted to test their courage in that haunted house.

After her father passed away, Toyama Itsumi became introverted and withdrawn, unwilling to communicate with others, and didn't have many friends.

If you refuse, you are likely to be isolated throughout high school.

Furthermore, remembering her father's mysterious death, she was also determined to find out the truth and ultimately agreed to go along.

But not long after stepping into that haunted house, Toyama Itsumi began to regret it.

She felt a strange gaze, as if it were staring at her.

Ignoring the advice of the other three, he fled in terror and even hallucinated while going downstairs, seeing the figure of his deceased father.

After finally escaping back, the three female classmates disappeared and never returned.

Her unease grew stronger.

Yuanshan Yimei found newspapers and tape, covered up all the doors and windows of the balcony, drew the curtains, hid on the bed, and huddled in the shadows.

I didn't dare go to school for several days in a row.

She broke down in tears when two other classmates came to find her, and that's when she finally told the truth.

In the evening, Yumi had a dream.

I dreamt of my father...

She didn't know how long she had slept when she woke up in bed and noticed torn newspapers and duct tape scraps on the blankets.

Yuanshan Yimei hurriedly checked the places she had pasted, and when she found the torn holes... she was found too!

"what!"

Looking through the hole in the newspaper, I saw three pale yet familiar faces.

It was those three missing classmates.

She knew they were dead! They had come looking for her!

Just as Yumi was about to flee, two sharp, silver cones suddenly fell and shattered the balcony window, leaving glass broken all over the floor.

Her mouth gaped open as she watched the three strange classmates being clamped by the silver cones and then flying away into thin air.

Outside the box, Wang Hao placed the three "new Ju-on" figures he had created into the newly opened plastic box, to keep "Kirayuki" Kayako company.

But when he turned to look at the box again, he was stunned.

"What the heck? Why is there another Kayako?"

As Toyama Itsumi screamed, she frantically hid from Kayako, who was crawling closer to her like a spider on the bedroom ceiling.

Wang Hao once again extended his precision tweezers and, through the broken door and window, grabbed "Spider" Kayako and pulled her out of the box.

But the next moment, there was another noise coming from inside the wardrobe.

This time he stared at it directly.

The cabinet door was pushed open from the inside, and there it was... Kayako!

"Holy crap! There are so many kayaks!"

Wang Hao had just put the "spider" Kayako into the box when he reached out with tweezers again.

I refuse to believe it today! I can't catch you, you little Kayako!

As he watched Yumi escape from the bedroom, the tweezers in his hand reached in from the balcony window again and precisely clamped down on Kayako, who had jumped out of the closet.

"Phew! That should be it."

Just as Wang Hao was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he looked at the box and discovered that Toyama Itsumi, who had hidden in the toilet, was screaming again.

There's another Kayako in the bathtub!

It's the special edition with the blood-stained clothes!

"Your Kayako is probably possessed by Tomie, right? Even Sadako from next door would probably be amazed."

Wang Hao may be witty, but he's quick with his hands. He used precision tweezers to pierce through the building and pull out the blood-clad Kayako.

But then, he heard Toyama Itsumi scream again.

"No way..."

Upon closer inspection, sure enough, the high school girl who had just tried to escape through the gate bumped into the plastic bag version of Kayako outside the door again...

A few minutes later, he was speechless.

Today was truly a ghostly day!

Looking at Toyama Itsumi, who had escaped into the living room but was ultimately devoured by Kayako in the shrine, Wang Hao gave up completely.

Looking at the small transparent box on the worktable, it was almost completely filled with densely packed "Kayako".

Not to mention the duplicate versions, there are Kayakos in the cracks, Kayakos under the table, Kayakos outside the window, Kayakos falling from the ceiling... there are simply too many to catch!

After Yumi Toyama was swallowed up, the scene inside the box returned to the very beginning, the Ju-on hut.

Wang Hao finally understood.

"I see. The main character of Ju-on isn't Rika Nishina, but Kayako—no! It's Ju-on itself."

"The storyline of Toyama Itsumi should take place a few years later, which means that Kayako just staged a time-traveling murder scene."

"Good heavens! I missed out on this time-travel trend, and this ghost is already doing it."

"However, if we can't capture Kayako, then there's no solution, right?"

"So, how exactly should we deal with this Ju-on world?"

He suddenly had a great idea.

Since even Sadako can be transformed into the people's Sadako.

Why can't there be a just Kayako?
