"You've already got a role?"

Yasuko Sawaguchi paused for a moment, seemingly out of nowhere.

Sakamoto Yu nodded in agreement.

She tapped the script lightly with her finger.

"Filming for this movie is not expected to start until June."

Sakamoto Yu's eyes flickered. "June?"

He pondered for a moment, then said in a low voice, "That should be possible."

Yasuko Sawaguchi glanced at him: "Don't be so sure. If you don't meet the requirements in the audition, there's nothing I can do to help you."

Sakamoto Yu nodded readily: "Of course."

Yasuko Sawaguchi pushed the script forward a bit. "Then take a look first. You don't need to return the script for now, but remember to keep it a secret."

Sakamoto Yu stared at her blankly. "You trust me that much?"

Yasuko Sawaguchi glanced at him sideways without saying a word. She instinctively reached out her hand, only to find nothing. She then realized that Sakamoto Yu had taken the coffee.

Sakamoto Yu was flipping through the script when he glanced at her, then at the coffee, and casually remarked:

"I've already had my drink, would you like to order another one?"

Yasuko Sawaguchi paused, then didn't reach out again.

"This is the last batch of beans in the shop."

She pursed her lips, glared at him with annoyance, her nose twitched slightly, and she secretly held her breath.

Sakamoto Yu glanced down at the coffee that was still more than half full in his cup, got up, picked it up, and sat down in the empty seat where his female assistant had been sitting.

He took another tissue and carefully wiped the rim of the cup before gently pushing it back in front of her.

"I didn't know this was the last one."

He covered his mouth and coughed lightly, picked up the script, and began to read it.

Yasuko Sawaguchi looked at him, a slight smile unconsciously curving her lips, and took a sip of her coffee.

"I didn't say I disliked it, so why wipe it?"

The private room fell silent.

Sakamoto Yu lowered his eyes, his fingertips pinching the corner of the script as he turned the pages, but his mind had already wandered far away, and he hadn't read a single word.

He looked up and glanced to his side, seeing her lips resting on the rim of the glass.

He turned his gaze back to the script, but his eyes were already vacant.

It felt like a soft feather had gently brushed against my heart, and that hidden restlessness was inexplicably stirred up.

Yasuko Sawaguchi took a sip and gently put down her coffee cup.

My finger lingered on the cup for a second, as if it still held his warmth.

She glanced at Sakamoto Yu.

His shoulder was less than a foot away from hers. He was looking down at the script, his eyelashes drooping, and his expression serious.

Recalling how carefully he had wiped the rim of the cup earlier, her lips twitched, but she didn't smile.

"Where are you looking?"

She leaned closer and tapped her finger on the script.

The two people were less than two inches apart.

Sakamoto Yu's shoulders stiffened slightly.

"Here," he said.

The voice was a little lower than before.

Yasuko Sawaguchi moved even closer.

"You need to pay attention to the rhythm of Prince Chagi. When he speaks, the first half of the sentence should be slow, and the second half should be fast."

Sakamoto Yu turned his head to look at her.

From this angle, her profile is very close to his.

He could see clearly the lines of the bridge of the nose, the curve of the eyelashes, and the small pearl on the earlobe.

Yasuko Sawaguchi felt that gaze.

She didn't turn her head, but her fingers, which were writing, stopped.

Are you listening?

"...I'm listening."

"What did I say?"

Sakamoto Yu remained silent for a moment.

Last time, it seemed to be the same. Why do I always feel so passive when I meet her?

Yasuko Sawaguchi turned her head, and the distance between the two of them was less than three inches.

His face was reflected in her pupils.

Neither of them moved.

The air became thin at that moment.

The breathing became heavy; I couldn't tell whose it was, maybe both of theirs.

Yasuko Sawaguchi's lips moved slightly.

No sound was made.

Sakamoto looked at her, raised his hand from the script, and gently stroked her face.

—It's very hot

She gasped for breath, letting the lines of her palm gently press against her skin.

His fingers touched the small pearl on her earlobe.

"This earring is crooked." He gently straightened it for her.

After making this gesture, he calmly lowered his head and continued reading the script.

Yasuko Sawaguchi stared blankly at him, motionless for a long time.

Seeing that he was no longer making any movements, her breathing suddenly became heavier.

"Snap"

She raised her hand and lightly punched his shoulder without saying a word, the meaning of which was self-evident.

Sakamoto Yu glanced at her sideways.

"Childish," Yasuko Sawaguchi blurted out out of the blue.

She exhaled, pulled her body back, and turned her head away.

A hand reached out and gently pinched her chin.

Immediately afterwards, Yasuko Sawaguchi felt a darkness before her eyes.

The next second, I felt my lips being gently captured.

She froze, her pupils contracted slightly, and her throat moved slightly.

After she came to her senses, she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, her waist went limp, as if all her strength had been drained away.

Only the sound of their intertwined breathing filled the private room.

The two kissed for less than five minutes when there was a sudden knock on the door.

"Boo-hoo—"

The knocking didn't disturb them; the kiss continued.

Yasuko Sawaguchi's fingers gripped Yu Sakamoto's collar.

Sakamoto Yu could clearly feel her breath on his face.

Sakamoto Yu's hand slid from her chin to her ear, his fingertips running through her hair, his palm pressed against her burning skin.

"Boo-hoo—"

The knocking sounded again, this time a little urgent.

Sakamoto Yu's hands stopped.

But Yasuko Sawaguchi didn't stop; her body was still slightly leaning towards him.

She didn't have time to think about anything.

All I could think about were his lips and his breath; I just wanted to immerse myself in his scent and couldn't care about anything else.

Sakamoto Yu stepped back, and she chased after him.

"Sawaguchi-san—"

Helpless, he could only put his hands on Sawaguchi's shoulders to create some distance between them.

Yasuko Sawaguchi slightly lifted her eyelids, her throat moved, and her breathing became rapid.

The tears in her eyes hadn't faded yet.

When she heard the knocking, her pupils contracted sharply, as if she had been suddenly pulled to the surface from the depths of water.

Her moist lips parted slightly, and she subconsciously swallowed.

Sakamoto Yu reacted quickly, leaning back half a foot, picking up the tissue used to wipe the cup, and vigorously wiping his lips.

He casually put the tissue into his pocket and reached out to move the coffee in front of Sawaguchi.

Then he picked up the script and started reading.

The door handle made a turning sound.

Yasuko Sawaguchi quickly tidied her hair.

Her fingers were still trembling, her breathing was still erratic, and her face was flushed.

At that moment, the assistant pushed open the door and walked in.

"Sawaguchi-san, we should go..."

She paused halfway through her sentence.

The two people in the private room, one sat at the table looking down at the script, and the other sat next to him with a strand of hair slipping out from behind his ear and hanging down to his side.

Sakamoto Yu pointed to the script, stopping at a particular line, his expression focused.

Nothing unusual.

But the assistant felt something was off, though she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Yasuko Sawaguchi spoke, her voice a little softer than usual, and upon closer listening, it trembled slightly:

"understood."

Sakamoto Yu raised his head, glanced at his assistant, and nodded as a greeting.

"Sakamoto-san..." the assistant began, "Should I send the specific audition requirements to your manager later?"

"it is good."

Sakamoto Yu looked up at her and said calmly, "Thank you for your help."

Then he picked up the coffee on the table, brought it to his lips, and took a big gulp.

The movement was so natural, as if it were his own cup, that even his assistant didn't realize it.

Yasuko Sawaguchi's gaze followed the cup of coffee, watching his lips fall on the spot where she had just touched.

After he finished drinking, he stood up, closed the script, and held it in his hand.

"I'll take the script back and read it first. As for the audition, thank you."

Yasuko Sawaguchi didn't look at him, but simply responded with a soft "Mm."

"The coffee is good, let's meet again next time," Sakamoto Yu said calmly.

He walked to the door, opened it, and left without looking back.

The door closed.

The private room fell silent.

The assistant is tidying up the documents on the table.

Yasuko Sawaguchi sat there, looking at the cup of coffee on the table that Yu Sakamoto had taken a big gulp of.

There was still a faint mark on the rim of the cup.

She reached out and turned the cup so that the lip print was facing her.

Then she picked up her cup and finished the rest of her coffee.

The assistant looked up: "Sawaguchi-san, shall we go?"

"……Um."

She stood up and put the cup back on the table.

...

Just as Sakamoto Yu was taking the elevator downstairs, his pager suddenly went off.

This time, he didn't hesitate and directly took out the one that Sawaguchi had given him, which had a secret code for "rehearsing" on it.

I didn't expect the next one to come so soon.
