Huayu: Starting from an Unemployed Male Model

Chapter 6 What if Love Really Exists

Wei Jun got the role.

His acting skills are a bit immature, but his posture, temperament, and delivery of lines are top-notch, and he portrayed the indomitable spirit of youth.

Compared to Zeng Shunxi, Zeng Shunxi only has a family background that matches the role; in every other aspect, he is superior.

To reward Li Lin for her encouragement and companionship, Wei Jun not only stamped her name with a heart-shaped seal but also asked her to accompany him shopping at the mall.

Wei Jun had several high-end suits custom-made, some business-style and some fashionable, and bought the latest Huawei phone. Of course, the money for all of this came from the bank card that Xu Lu gave him.

She went to participate in another GG photoshoot, which was arranged by her agent Yang Hua.

During the GG shoot, Li Lin was busy with all sorts of things, and Wei Jun, feeling sorry for her, stamped her with a heart-shaped stamp.

With this, Wei Jun's business trip was basically over, but the recording was not yet finished.

Wei Jun was in a playful mood and wanted to film a short video to post on Weibo. He figured it would be quite funny once the show aired.

Filming suggestive cross-dressing videos? Videos of traditional Chinese martial arts dances? KTV dances by men over 30? Driving test preparation materials?

Wei Jun had an idea: to film a short video combining dance and storyline from the theme of "If Love Really Exists".

The original song is Jam Hsiao's "How Can I Say I Don't Love You", which was later recreated by a blogger on Douyin as a DJ version called "If Love Really Exists". The most widely circulated version is the dance version with Yang Bu-nao.

In previous lives, many popular celebrities also followed suit and filmed similar movies, such as Wang Hedi, Wang Yuwen, Ao Ruipeng, Wang Heye, Zhou Zhennan...

Wei Jun immediately contacted his friend who specializes in music, told him about the idea for the DJ song, and then got Li Lin to record a few lines of audio.

Wei Jun certainly wouldn't have composed the entire song; he didn't know how, he only remembered a few lines of lyrics.

To avoid future disputes, I specifically bought the copyright to create the song, and will play it as soon as I receive it.

The voice in front is Li Qin's: "If love truly exists, what exactly is it?"

Then came Wei Jun's voice: "This plot is too cliché; your love is a slow poison..."

The song is very short, only 25 seconds long.

"I never thought I'd have the chance to participate in recording a song. It sounds a bit cheesy, but it's kind of catchy. By the way, you do have some talent, but why did you only do a few dozen seconds? Why didn't you continue?" Li Qin asked, puzzled.

You'll find out soon enough.

Wei Jun told Li Lin about the storyline of his short video, and then brought over a cameraman to shoot the video with his newly bought Huawei phone, explaining the techniques of camera movement to him.

Wei Jun originally wanted to film two versions, one of which was "Empresses in the Palace". Anyway, he could imitate Chen Jianbin's voice and say, "Huanhuan, I'm emo" to ride the wave of popularity.

But the director said that if celebrities make pranks on the show, it can easily cause disputes, and when the show gets popular, they will be criticized by people with ulterior motives.

We can only reject this version and film another one.

"Let's begin."

Li Lin pulled her suitcase and walked out, but Wei Jun grabbed her leg to prevent her from leaving.

"Don't leave me."

Li Lin cruelly abandoned him, and Wei Jun cried out "Ah!" and burst into tears, clutching his head.

The camera then cuts to Wei Jun dancing to music.

Left push, right push *8, wrap hands *4, right push, left push *8, drill left, drill right *4, headache *4, cry, turn around ending.

Li Lin, who stepped out of the camera's view, had a strange expression on her face.

Sometimes she really couldn't understand Wei Jun's thought process. He was tall and handsome, had a nice voice, and could imitate others, but he always did things in an abstract way. He was a weirdo.

Why do I find myself a little cute?

Wei Jun retrieved his phone and looked down to check it. Li Lin leaned closer, tucked her hair behind her ear, and watched the video intently.

Hey, I have to say, the cameraman is really good; the footage perfectly matches Wei Jun's ideas.

"It's quite interesting, it looks fun."

The fragrance was like orchids, and Li Lin's beautiful hair silently brushed against Wei Jun's face, making it itch.

He glanced at her, just as Li Qin looked up. The two stared at each other for a few seconds before she shyly looked away.

"You should take some pictures too."

"No," Li Qin refused. She felt that filming this didn't suit her personality and she couldn't let loose.

"Do you still want the heart-shaped badge?"

In the end, Li Qin reluctantly filmed the video, and her disgusted and forced expression in the video was simply unbelievable.

Wei Jun posted his short video on Weibo, but Li Lin was too shy to post it.

Wei Jun, who only has a few thousand followers, can't generate much buzz with his short videos.

It's okay, let the bullets fly for a while.

Near the end, Li Lin sincerely thanked Wei Jun for giving her a taste of what it's like to be a talent agent.

From washing hair and applying face masks at the beginning, to accompanying him to job interviews, shopping, serving tea and water and running errands during his photoshoots, and then recording songs and shooting videos.

The day was quite eventful.

"I feel like I've been being trained by you all day," Li Qin replied to Wei Jun.

"so?"

"I'm quite happy. Am I a good agent?"

"Oh, so-so," Wei Junqiang said, feigning indifference.

"Hmph, what a scumbag, used and discarded."

......

Next, the crew moved to Macau, Phuket, Thailand, and Seychelles, and finally finished filming after more than a month.

"Phew, finally back in Shanghai."

After getting off the plane, Li Qin stretched and yawned, her body stretching upwards. As she stretched, her tight white t-shirt rode up, revealing her slender waist.

"Yes, I can finally get some rest."

Although filming dating reality shows is easy, with high pay and little hassle, it's still a job. Acting in front of the camera is never as comfortable and relaxing as being at home.

"What are your plans for the future?" Li Lin turned to look at Wei Jun.

"I'm taking a break and waiting for 'Fighter of the Destiny' to start filming. What about you?"

"I'm joining the cast of 'Shut Up! Love It'," Li Lin explained, noticing Wei Jun's confusion. "It stars top stars Zhang Yixing and Jung Soo-jung, and I'm playing a supporting role."

Wei Jun narrowed his eyes, revealing a half-smile.

Wei Jun said he hadn't heard much about it and guessed it was a bad movie.

Li Qin slapped him lightly, clearly annoyed. After spending more than a month together, she knew Wei Jun well; this expression meant nothing good was coming.

"See you next time." After chatting for a while longer, Wei Jun waved goodbye.

"Wei Jun," Li Qin called out, gesturing for them to stop.

"Hmm?" Wei Jun stopped and turned around, pulling his luggage.

"Have you... Let's go, it's alright now." Li Qin's expression was somber.

"If you need anything, just come to me." Wei Jun made a heart shape with his hands and winked, then left without a second thought, like a scumbag.

He knew what Li Qin wanted to say; it was nothing more than something like, "Have you ever loved me?"

During this month, the two experienced many things as a couple, developed feelings for each other, hugged, kissed, and touched, and slept together after a "deep-sea confession kiss" in Phuket.

That night, Wei Jun galloped across the battlefield for a long time, becoming a victorious general.

Afterwards, Li Qin wanted a formal title, but Wei Jun stuck to his old ways, saying he wanted to focus on his career and wasn't considering dating for the time being.

Li Lin was crying and screaming at the time, and Wei Jun was afraid that she would do something foolish. He could only give her hope and say that he would consider it once her career improved.

Anyway, I spent the whole night trying to coax him.

Wei Jun glanced at the inscription on his body and shook his head.
