New Ultraman: Monster Training Master
Chapter 33: Seven hasn't appeared for a long time.
Yuka Ota asked curiously, "Hoshikawa, since you can tell fortunes, could you tell us where those aliens are?"
"Team member Yuka, we are members of the Fukui team. We should believe in science, not superstitious things like fortune telling," Masaki Keigo interrupted Ota Yuka's reverie.
He grew up in a scientifically advanced environment and didn't believe in gods or fortune telling from the bottom of his heart.
If he had to put it into words, Ultraman Seven was half a god in his mind, and also the ultimate form of human evolution in his mind.
Thinking of this, Masaki Keigo slowly spoke up: "By the way, haven't you guys noticed that Ultraman Seven hasn't appeared for a long time?"
"In the past, whenever a monster appeared, Ultraman Seven would always arrive at the scene immediately."
Fumio Kishida: "Even without Ultraman Seven, we can still defeat monsters."
Masaki Keigo: "Don't dream about it. With our current weapons, we can't even deal with aliens, let alone those monsters that are tens of meters tall."
"The reason there haven't been any other monsters destroying the city recently is because a red monster came out and eliminated them."
Yuka Ota: "It's that monster that's like a volcano, isn't it? That monster is really strong. I really want to touch it."
When it comes to Golza, Yuka Ota has a lot to say.
Listening to Yuka Ota discuss how to dissect Golza, Hoshikawa got goosebumps.
Hoshikawa interrupted Yuka: "Yuka, could you help me mark the abandoned factories near the densely populated areas where people have gone missing?"
Ota Yuka nodded, got up and walked to the computer, marking out more than a dozen factories.
Looking at the factories on the screen, Hoshikawa continued, "Help me filter them out; look for abandoned factories with lots of crows circling around them."
He had just recalled the contents of episode 13 of "Ultraman Tiga" again, in which Shinjo, while searching for Shinichi who had been captured by the Crow People, tracked down an abandoned factory where crows were circling overhead based on a signal.
Masaki Keigo: "Hoshikawa, have you found where the aliens are hiding?"
Whenever Hoshikawa is searching for something, it always ends up being related to aliens.
Hoshikawa pointed to the factory on the screen: "Would you believe me if I said the Crow People might be hiding in one of these factories?"
"I believe you." Masaki Keigo said without the slightest hesitation.
Hoshikawa was taken aback, clearly not expecting Masaki Keigo to be so decisive.
But that's fine too, it saves him the trouble of explaining his reasons.
At this moment, Aihara Ryu came up behind Hoshikawa and looked at the factories circled on the screen, wondering, "Are the Crow People hiding in these factories?"
Ultimately, this universe is different from the previous Ultraman universes, so Hoshikawa didn't dare to say anything definitively: "It's uncertain, I can only say there's a high probability. As I said before, this information is for reference only."
Masaki Keigo suggested, "How about this, we split up and each person is responsible for one factory. If we find any Crow People, we can report it using a communicator."
Aihara Ryu said with some concern, "If we split up, I'm worried that the Crow People will pick us off one by one."
"Have you forgotten this?" Masaki Keigo took out the anti-shrinkage badge.
"Alright, you stay in the base. Whoever encounters a Crowman, you come to their aid." Hoshikawa patted Aihara Ryu on the shoulder and walked out of the command room.
He's going to the logistics department to get some weapons.
He knew he couldn't fight off the Crow People's army with just a small pistol, so he needed to get some weapons.
I took a few flashbangs and two smoke grenades from the logistics department, and then went to the R&D department to get a badge to keep as a spare.
With everything ready, Hoshikawa drove the patrol car to the factory on the map.
Upon arriving at the second abandoned factory, Hoshikawa caught a fleeting glimpse of a crow-man.
"We're lucky. We found the Crow People's lair in the second abandoned factory." Hoshikawa took out his communicator and called Masaki Keigo and the others.
Unable to summon Golza to crush the factory, he didn't plan to rush in alone, but instead stayed outside and waited for his teammates.
He wasn't Xincheng blinded by anger.
In the original storyline, Shinjo's anger overwhelmed him after his cousin Shinichi was captured by the Crow People. He found the Crow People's base and rushed in alone without waiting for his teammates.
He was eventually captured by the crow people and kept company with his cousin in a containment box.
A short while later, Masaki Keigo and his group arrived at the factory gate in a patrol car and met up with Hoshikawa.
After quickly tidying up their equipment, the group headed into the factory.
The four of them walked lightly, leaning against the wall and walking slowly with their backs bent.
Soon, the four encountered two crowmen on patrol.
Unsure whether the bullets could kill the Crowman directly, and also to avoid being exposed, Hoshikawa fitted the gun with a silencer and switched to tranquilizer darts.
With two silenced gunshots, the two crowmen in front touched their necks where they had been shot, and then collapsed to the ground.
Aihara Ryu and Masaki Keigo were quick-witted and dragged the two crow-men to a secluded spot.
Hoshikawa and Kishida Fumio continued to reach forward.
After anesthetizing six crow-men in succession, the four of them arrived at a room with six containment boxes in the middle.
Inside the containment box was a group of shrunken humans, their bodies bound by white straps, their eyes filled with terror.
"I didn't expect you to find this place." A crow-man with scarlet eyes appeared at the doorway.
Fumio Kishida: "Why is this crow-man different from the other crow-men? Its eyes are red."
Hoshikawa: "This is the leader of the Crow People; his red eyes can emit light."
The crow-man leader was somewhat surprised: "Since you know me, then you have two choices: either obediently let me shrink you, or be killed by me."
The four people in front of it were all high-quality slaves, and if it could, it would not want to kill Hoshikawa and the others.
"We're not choosing any of them, quickly cover your ears and turn around."
After saying that, Hoshikawa quickly threw a flashbang, covered his ears, and turned his back.
Seeing this, others immediately followed suit.
When the Crow people leader realized something was wrong, a dazzling light suddenly erupted.
"My eyes! My eyes!" the Crow chieftain cried out in anguish.
Masaki Keigo reacted quickly, drawing his gun and unleashing a barrage of fire at the Crow leader.
The blinded crow-man leader tried to dodge, but he had no idea where the bullet was coming from, and sparks flew from his body.
Masaki Keigo: "I said, we should go back and have the R&D department upgrade the pistols. After so many shots, the aliens haven't died."
If it were an Earthling, they would have been riddled with bullets by that barrage.
Hoshikawa: "Now is not the time to talk about these things."
The leader of the Crow People has very high physical strength. In "Ultraman Tiga", he was even able to fight Ultraman Tiga, who was the same size as him, to a standstill.
