New Ultraman: Monster Training Master

Chapter 28: The Feeling of Flying in Straw Sandals

At 7 p.m., Fumio Kishida and Ryu Aihara each found a deserted alleyway.

Fumio Kishida turned on his wireless earpiece: "I'm ready. By the way, can Keigo Masaki really protect me?"

Upon hearing this, Masaki Keigo, who had just finished adjusting his equipment, immediately retorted, "If you're that cowardly, I can be the bait."

"No need for that." Fumio Kishida turned on the camera on his chest and walked towards the end of the alley.

The footage captured by the camera was transmitted to the large screen in the command center.

Aihara Ryu and Kishida Fumio walked to the end of the alley, but the Crow Man did not appear.

Dan Moroboshi: "Don't stop, keep going."

"Yes!" Aihara Ryu and Kishida Fumio walked towards a secluded place.

After walking for about half an hour, the Crow Man still hadn't appeared.

Finally, the four of them met up at a park.

Fumio Kishida: "What's going on? Were all our previous assumptions wrong?"

Hoshikawa shook his head: "Those missing people were all taken away at night, which means that aliens are nocturnal creatures and do not appear during the day."

Ryu Aihara: "That's too absolute. Maybe it's because it's easier to catch people at night, so those aliens choose to appear at night."

Masaki Keigo also felt that Aihara Ryu made sense; they had no information about aliens, and the so-called nighttime captures were just speculation.

Hoshikawa suddenly realized that he was a time traveler, so he knew information about all the aliens, but Masaki Keigo and the others were not.

"Free candy! Anyone want some free candy?" An old woman's voice suddenly came from afar.

Fumio Kishida frowned, his tone displeased: "What's going on? Didn't the Metropolitan Police Department already issue a notice? Why are there still old women handing out candy on the street?"

When Hoshikawa saw the old woman pushing the cart clearly, he immediately warned the three of them: "That's no ordinary old woman, look at her feet."

The moment Hoshikawa saw the old woman, he recognized her as the extradimensional being "Giranbo," from episode 8 of "Ultraman Tiga."

Unlike other alien beings that indiscriminately capture humans, it prefers to eat innocent dreams, so it only captures children.

With Hoshikawa's prompting, the three discovered that the old woman's feet were actually levitating.

"That's an alien." Masaki Keigo reacted quickly, immediately drawing his gun and giving chase.

A triple attack?

Once the Crow People were exposed, other aliens sprang up like mushrooms after rain.

Hoshikawa was truly puzzled. Were humans some kind of high-grade supplement to those aliens? Why were they coming to Earth one after another to capture people?

Moreover, it doesn't follow the rules. That's not how it's portrayed in tokusatsu dramas. Monsters and aliens should appear one by one and then be defeated by the Earth Defense Force and Ultraman.

In this way, the Earth Defense Force's technology will become more and more advanced, making it easier to deal with the aliens that appear later.

However, the frequency of technological updates on Earth is not as high as the frequency of extraterrestrial appearances.

Hoshikawa really wanted to ask two aliens why they all flocked to Earth.

"Something's not right. Why can't four of us men outrun an old woman?" Fumio Kishida finally realized something was wrong; the old woman in front of him was running faster and faster.

Hoshikawa: "What do you know? This is called Super Strong Old Lady. She only needs to put on a pair of straw sandals to run 100 meters in under 4 seconds, and she only needs a steamed bun to run 100 kilometers."

Aihara Ryu exclaimed in surprise, "Is this what they mean by 'wearing straw sandals and feeling like you're flying'?"

Masaki Keigo didn't understand, but he was deeply shocked.

Chased by the four men, Kiranbo came to a dead end.

"That's enough. You damned aliens are pretty fast runners." Fumio Kishida quickly raised his gun.

Facing the dark muzzle of the gun, Kieran remained unmoved, and with a wave of his left hand in the air, a cloud of white smoke instantly covered the entire alley.

As the smoke cleared, Kiranbo and his cart disappeared from sight.

"Damn it, the alien got away." Fumio Kishida walked to the wall and confirmed that Kiranbo had disappeared into the alley.

At that moment, Hoshikawa's communicator on his waist rang. After being turned on, Dan Moroboshi's voice came through: "There is a distress signal at the crossroads not far from you. It may be that aliens have appeared."

"I understand." Hoshikawa turned off the communicator and headed towards the crossroads with Aihara Ryu.

At the intersection, a blue beam of light enveloped the police car.

Hoshikawa, who arrived at the scene, recognized the blue beam of light as being emitted by Abbas's spaceship.

No way, there are experts here.

Abbas is an alien who appeared in episode 17 of "Ultraman Tiga". He came to Earth to find able-bodied men who could fight both day and night.

They don't target the elderly, children, or women; they only target strong men.

After the police officers in the car were taken onto the spaceship, the spaceship flew towards Hoshikawa and the others.

"Hey, hey, hey, the spaceship is coming towards us!" Fumio Kishida fired wildly at the spaceship.

"I see it. I'm not blind. Looks like I have no choice but to use my ultimate move." Hoshikawa took a deep breath, turned around, and ran: "You're welcome, Luda!"

Masaki Keigo and the other two were taken aback at first, then reacted and followed behind Hoshikawa.

However, how could human feet possibly outrun a spaceship? The four were quickly overtaken by the spaceship.

The blue beam of light reappeared, and the four of them were carried onto the spaceship by the beam.

······

Inside the spaceship, jagged stone pillars were everywhere, and wisps of white smoke floated in the air. If it weren't for the complete lack of light, Xingchuan would have wondered if he had arrived in the Heavenly Court.

"It seems I was right, this is Abbas's spaceship." Hoshikawa stood up and found that Masaki Keigo and the other two were gone.

Just as Hoshikawa was searching for teammates, an alien who was over two meters tall, with a pair of white wings on his back and rubies embedded in his face, appeared.

Abbas!

Abbas approached Hoshikawa: "You are different from other Earthlings. I can sense that you are a born warrior."

"If you are willing to help us, Abobbas, rule the planet, I will free you from being our slave and you will obey Abobbas!"

Hoshikawa: "Your brain is completely underdeveloped, your cerebellum is totally undeveloped. I'm asking you, why did you come to Earth to capture people?"

Abbas: "That's because we are a race of the night, and we have no fighting power during the day."

"So we need to capture strong humans to fight for us during the day."

Hoshikawa pointed out the problem, telling Abbas, "Since you need someone to fight for you during the day, why not capture other aliens? They are much stronger than humans."

"You think I didn't catch them?" Abbas pointed to several stone pillars behind him.

Following the direction Abbas pointed, Hoshikawa saw a stone pillar containing a statue of a crow, which greatly surprised him.

No wonder I didn't see the Crow People today; they were captured by Abbas.
