The Bizarre Adventure of the Warhammer Guard

A dense barrage of bullets and energy beams instantly overwhelmed the beast.

But this had little effect. The beast's powerful body, combined with the amplification of Waaagh's energy, caused the bomb to explode on it without leaving a trace of damage.

The beast ignored the tickling attacks. With a casual sweep of its giant left claw, it cut three elite warriors, along with their power armor, in half, scattering blood, flesh, and fragments of power armor across the ground.

Elpis sensed the beast's immense power and dared not underestimate it. He rushed behind the beast, leaped high into the air, and covered his spear with the silvery-white power of the moon god. He used all his strength to strike the beast's head from above.

The beast keenly sensed a powerful force approaching. He kicked away several troublesome little tin cans at his feet, turned around, and raised his right hand, using his battle axe as a shield to block Elpis's powerful blow.

The shockwave from the collision of weapons produced a deafening roar. A cruel smile spread across the beast's face. Without pausing, it swung its power claws upward, attempting to defeat this formidable opponent before it.

Using his combat experience, Elpis dodged backward with the force of the impact of the weapons colliding. His power claws flashed with deadly arcs of energy, almost grazing the surface of his chest armor.

He twisted his body in mid-air, his spear drawing a graceful arc as it swung upwards, precisely deflecting the beast's powerful claws that were trying to pursue him, and then used the reaction force to quickly land on the ground.

The beast displayed its formidable combat skills, swiftly slashing down after its power claws were knocked aside, while simultaneously hacking straight down at Elpis, who had just landed, with its attacks relentless.

Elpis made full use of his size advantage, displaying agile movements and dodging several attacks from the beast with a few quick movements.

Immediately afterwards, the Spear of the Moon Goddess attacked again, its silvery-white light slicing through the air and piercing directly into the beast's exposed calf muscle.

Unfortunately, this powerful attack could only pierce the beast's skin, leaving a shallow mark on its lower leg.

"Your opponent is me!" The debris exploded, and Vulcan's figure burst through the dust. While Elpis was fighting the beast, Vulcan had already reached the beast's side and rammed into it.

The beast staggered forward several steps after being knocked away. He turned around, staring fiercely at the Primarch, roared, and swung his battle axe at the Primarch once more.

The second time, the warhammer and the battle axe collided again. The terrifying force compressed continuously at the point of intersection of the two weapons, and then exploded. The enormous power caused both of them to be knocked back a step.

Taking advantage of the beast's momentary lapse in speed after being knocked back, Elpis attacked again from behind, his spear striking the previously left marks until it finally wounded the beast, drawing blood.

The beast felt the pain and twisted its upper body violently, kicking out with incredible speed. Elpis didn't have much time to dodge and could only retreat, raising his spear to defend.

"Bang!" The beast's furious strike landed, and Elpis's golden armor groaned as he was sent flying, crashing into a throne and embedding himself in the wall. The golden light was obscured by rubble and dust.

"Go back to your graves!" Vulcan seized the opportunity, and the Doomsday Tremor slammed into the beast's chest.

The beast took the Primarch's enraged hammer blow head-on, and a large hole instantly blasted through its armor, revealing the beast's green skin.

They resumed their battle. Vulcan struggled to maintain his balance and withstand each blow, knowing full well the beast's power and that they alone could not defeat it.

But there was another way. Vulcan glanced at the underground energy core on the left side of the hall and slowly moved to the left, forcing the orc into the desired position.

After several clashes, cracks appeared on the battle axe. Naturally, the beast's battle axe could not compare to the Doomsday Tremor. In the final clash, the battle axe shattered into pieces.

The lingering power of the Doomsday Tremor slammed into the beast once more, but it used its power claws to block the warhammer. The Primarch's muscles tensed, and its dragon scales operated at maximum power, resisting the beast's brutal force.

At this moment, Elpis also returned to the battlefield. He and the Lord of Fire Dragons exchanged a glance and understood the Primarch's tactics.

He changed his offensive strategy, no longer directly attacking the beast, but instead cooperating with Vulcan to launch a harassing attack, intending to distract the beast. At the same time, the silver-white light flowing on the Moon Spear was quietly charging.

The battle continued, and the number of corpses on the Astartes increased as they sacrificed their lives to delay the beasts' advance, giving the Primarchs a chance to strike.

"You're too impatient for quick results!" Vokhan said as he attacked. "If you had real wisdom and patience, you would see that in ten years, or perhaps a hundred, the empire would collapse easily."

Suddenly, the beast changed its attack method. Ignoring the other attacks, it let the warhammer smash into its body and then grabbed the Primarch with its right hand.

The dragon scales groaned under the beast's massive grip. The Primarch swung its warhammer rapidly, smashing it against the beast's thick arm. The beast raised its left power claw and viciously clawed at the Primarch's head.

As the Power Claw approached the Primarch's face, Vulcan changed the trajectory of his attack, slamming the Doom Tremor into the oncoming Power Claw.

The sudden collision of their forces separated the two. Vulcan was thrown to the ground, while the Beast staggered back a few steps, getting closer to the energy core.

The beast shook its arm, numb from the impact, while tearing off its tattered armor and tossing it aside.

Vulcan blinked hard, quickly recovering from the brief dizziness.

Elpis was panting heavily, his armor bearing several more large claw marks. The beast's brute force had injured his internal organs. His eyes were fixed on the beast, searching for the best opportunity.

"Now you have launched an attack on the Throne World," the Primarch roared, leaping to his feet. "You have awakened another beast, and it will crush you!"

The beasts responded to the Primarch with furious roars, and they pounced on each other again, crushing the bodies of fallen Space Marines under their feet.

In a desperate last-ditch effort, Vulcan unleashed the Doomsday Tremor, smashing the hammer, imbued with boundless power, into the beast's face.

The beast's head made a dull thud as it cracked, and its massive body was jolted into a brief moment of dizziness.

Vulcan seized the opportunity and swept past the beast, but he did not expect the beast to recover so quickly. It turned around and threw a punch, which hit the Primarch's breastplate and sent him flying more than ten meters away.

The Primarch tumbled as he was thrown back, landing heavily on one knee. He ripped off his helmet and spat out a mouthful of blood.

At this moment, behind him was the deep pit where the energy core was located.

The green energy shone on Vulcan's back, making him look like another tall beast.
