The palace, the secret base, the training ground.

Two Astartes were training on the field, neither wearing armor and wielding training swords. One had short hair, a resolute expression, and skillful swordsmanship; the other had parted hair, a youthful face, and slightly rougher swordsmanship, but his attacks were fierce. These two were Loken and Lyon.

Loken brandished his longsword, adopting a defensive stance against the incoming attacks. In just a few breaths, the sound of hundreds of swords clashing rang out. During the exchange, Loken astutely seized an opening in Leon's attack, deflecting it with his sword, taking a step forward, and delivering a left-handed punch to Leon's chest.

Leon quickly dodged, but this played right into Loken's hands. Loken swung his longsword in his right hand, slashing across Leon's chest from his left shoulder to his right abdomen, leaving a long gash from which thick blood seeped.

"I lost, teacher." Leon sheathed his sword, stood up, and looked at Loken.

"There's been improvement since last time," Loken said, gently wiping his longsword and placing it on the weapon rack beside him. He commented on Leon's skills, "You're good at offense, but not good at defense. In battle, you need to pay more attention to your opponent and the surrounding situation, think more, and not let too many emotions interfere with your judgment."

By this time, after nearly thirty years of training, Leon had become a qualified Space Marine. Thanks to the Sixteenth Legion gene seed provided by Loken, the meticulously crafted modification surgery by the Sage of Orm, and his extremely high viral compatibility, Leon became a Shadowmoon Wolf warrior without major incident.

Lyon's rebirth also dispelled the gloom in Loken's heart. He had always been saddened by his father's death, the betrayal and fragmentation of his legion. But when a new Shadowmoon Wolf warrior reappeared, his youthful appearance resembling his own in his younger days, Loken regained hope and aspirations.

At the same time, Leon was also overjoyed, feeling incredibly powerful, yet also under immense pressure. He had heard some stories from his teacher, Gavial Loken, though Loken had said they were brothers, Leon preferred to call him his teacher.

Lyon learned of things the Empire didn't remember or publicize: he knew his legion had betrayed the Empire, sided with demons, and was now hiding in the depths of darkness. He also knew the enormity of the atrocities committed by those traitors.

Leon vowed to protect humanity and annihilate all of humanity's enemies.

Seeing that Leon's chest wound was almost healed, Loken gave Leon some more instructions on battlefield precautions. At that moment, Loken's communicator rang, and he hurried over to check it.

"Leon, we have a mission."

After reading the communication, Loken told Leon to put on his gear and go to the assembly point.

After nearly thirty years of effort, Elpis finally managed to pull the sphere representing the Resident Evil world into his own sphere within the Luna Space. The two spheres, like two pools of water, rapidly merged, and Elpis felt his own sphere grow larger.

At that moment, his consciousness was rapidly pulled, and Elpis seemed to be looking down at a map of the entire Milky Way star sector. A space the size of the solar system suddenly appeared at the junction of the solar star sector and the eastern limit star sector of the empire, seamlessly connecting with the surrounding area without any abnormalities.

As if the area had always existed there, Elpis immediately informed Waldo of the information he possessed and contacted the fleets near the area to scan and explore the newly formed region.

A few days later, news arrived that a space the size of the solar system had actually appeared out of thin air within the empire's territory. This news not only shocked the imperial naval forces that had gone to investigate, but also Elpis and Waldo.

"It seems my amazing power is somewhat beyond expectations." After reading the message, Elpis looked up at Waldo, who was analyzing the situation.

Over the years, Elpis had already privately revealed to Waldo that he could travel to other worlds, and his analysis suggested that these were likely not the universe where the Empire resided. But this incident of the Empire's territory expanding out of thin air completely convinced Waldo of Elpis's claims.

"Eight planets, very similar to Terra," Waldo finally spoke, "only younger, and without other space structures and junk. And that blue planet has a large human population, but their technology is very underdeveloped."

"How do we explain this?" Elpis asked Waldo. "How do we explain it to the High Lords and the Empire?"

"We can't reveal any real information about you right now," Waldo casually put down the data panel in his hand. "Just say it's a lost pocket world that has now appeared due to interference from the warp."

"However, I will be in charge of this recapture operation," Elpis said, then opened the communication and called on Loken to assemble the team. "That world has excellent manpower."

After Elpis finished speaking, he walked towards the secret base.

Upon arriving at the meeting point, Elpis saw two Astartes in black armor and a tall woman in pale gold armor, wielding a greatsword. They were Loken, Leon, and Ida, who was studying at the Sisters of Silence.

The armor worn by Loken and Leon differed from ordinary Space Marine armor; thanks to the improvements made by the Sage of Orm, both its defensive capabilities and agility were enhanced.

Loken painted his armor entirely black and minimized any ornamentation. In Loken's words, "Atony, I bear the burden of sin, I should not have glory."

Leon followed Loken's example, painting his armor black and leaving it without much decoration. Loken had advised Leon that he didn't need to do the same, but Leon stubbornly insisted on sharing the burden with Loken.

Ada, who had studied with the Sisters of Silence, has returned. She underwent enhancement surgery with the Sisters of Silence and is now much taller, nearly two meters tall when armored. Furthermore, she has begun to master the technique of transmitting inaccessible force fields to the weapons in her hands.

Elpis looked at the transformed group and felt gratified. He then said, "This time we are going to conquer a lost human world."

"Leon, Ada," Elpis said, looking at the two of them, "this is the world you two lived in before."

Leon and Ada exchanged a glance, both seeing surprise in each other's eyes.

"My lord, I have brought the latest research." A mechanical voice echoed from afar; it was Doraemon. "I hope it will be of assistance to you in your conquest."

"What is this, Sage?" Elpis asked, seeing the mechanical arm behind Om holding a tray with some potions on it.

"The Panacea, my lord." Om greeted Elpis as he entered. "I have privately named it the 'Panacea.' It is a healing agent developed from the broken STC template you provided and the virus. It is a highly effective healing agent that can quickly repair bodily damage."

"Well done, wise man."

"My lord, there's something I need to ask," Loken reminded him from the side, "What method should we use to conquer this world?"

"Demonstrate force, negotiate, and minimize casualties."

"yes!"
