Hell has invaded, but my Hextech is invincible!

Chapter 60: The Monster Stacks Steel!

Must we confront the true form of the demon?

Upon hearing this, Inessa's face turned deathly pale.

She tried to comfort herself, but found that any words seemed pale and powerless.

No one knew better than her the terror of the true form of the Lord of Hell.

Once the true form of the Demon Lord is revealed, the entire British Church and the United Front will need to exert their full strength to deal with it.

It took the combined efforts of the rotating chairman and archbishop to barely hold them off.

She and Hex had absolutely no chance of competing with each other.

Inessa sighed softly and looked at Hextech: "Leave this to me."

Hex turned around and stared at her in surprise.

"I don't want to be a burden to you, but this is a path with no chance of survival," Inessa said calmly.

"As a clergyman, I swear by my soul to complete this mortal mission."

"You don't have to take risks with me."

"Staying here might allow us to hold out until the gates of hell close on their own."

Looking at her resolute expression as she faced death, Hex couldn't help but remark, "You're quite sentimental."

"However, if Kalodos' true form appears, we can simply close our eyes and await our death."

He looked at Valeria: "Stop playing tricks on people."

"If it really is the real Carlodos there, you have no way to escape."

Valeria blinked her violet eyes, a sly smile playing on her lips. "I was hoping to give you two some space to pour your hearts out to each other, but you don't know how to cherish that at all?"

"To tell you the truth, although his physical body is inside the tower, most of his power has been used to open the gates of hell."

"The only thing left that can deal with you is a single clone projection."

"Does saying that make you feel better?"

"It's not much better," Hextech shook his head. "Our win rate has barely increased from zero to one percent."

He was not belittling himself.

The last time they were able to defeat Kalodos, it was all thanks to the blessing artifact. Now, Inessa is no longer able to summon it, and even if she did, Hextech's strength would be no match for a Demon Lord. After all, only a living saint wielding a blessing artifact can contend with a Demon Lord.

What's more, they had to carry hellfire all the way up the tower, layer by layer, to the top.

When the final battle comes, how much fighting strength will he have left?

Hextech looked at Valeria: "So, what's your plan?"

"You've come to the right person," Valeria said, suddenly becoming interested.

"I don't have conventional methods, but I can use witchcraft to fight witchcraft."

"For example, in this desperate world, it can give rise to a forbidden love."

"Let love be like a flower of hell, taking root, sprouting, blooming, and bearing fruit wildly."

When she said the word "result," her eyes fell maliciously on Inessa's lower abdomen.

"As long as you two, in this forbidden love, give birth to a forbidden child—"

"I can use this crystal to cast spells and greatly weaken the power of hellfire."

"Then I'll be able to go straight to the top floor."

"To help you fight against Kalodos, who is not in his full form!"

"That gives us at least a 50% chance of winning!"

Upon hearing this, Hex was shocked. He instantly understood the cause and effect, and then burst into a tirade of curses.

"So that's what you were planning!"

"Why are you staring at us?"

"So they wanted to use us from the very beginning to complete their vicious ritual!"

"The crystallization you're talking about, isn't that pregnancy?"

"Using our embryos to perform evil rituals."

"Valeria!"

"You bastard, you're disgusting!" Hex was furious; he already had a very low moral standard.

But compared to the devil, he was truly a perfect saint.

Immediately after being scolded by Hex, Inessa understood the meaning behind his words, and her usual cool and righteous expression completely crumbled.

No wonder this lustful demon had been secretly influencing them. She had initially thought it was just the demon's wicked humor, but she never expected that it would target them in order to escape.

Using his power to influence the two, he fostered forbidden feelings, then made them do forbidden things, resulting in the birth of forbidden fruit. Finally, he stole the embryo and completed the evil ritual.

No wonder Valeria treated them so specially and didn't intentionally harm them.

She was so angry that she trembled all over and instinctively covered her lower abdomen.

Even though the place was completely empty, she still felt a strong sense of resistance and protectiveness.

"Impossible! Don't even think about it!" Inessa almost bit her lip until it bled.

Valeria looked completely innocent: "I haven't done anything!"

"Besides, haven't you already exposed me?"

"As allies, we should be honest with each other. I have told you my true purpose, and you should be happy."

Hex's lips twitched violently. He glanced sideways at Inessa beside him, the nun who was so angry she was almost ready to rush up and fight the demon.

He put his arm around her shoulder and patted her gently, signaling her to calm down.

"Impossible. We will never accept such a vicious method," Hex refused.

"I never expected you to have such a sense of morality," Valeria said, somewhat disappointed.

"If all else fails, I can possess your body."

"Or it may possess a nun."

"Shut up!" Hextech immediately interrupted sharply. "Don't even think about it."

This was something that not only Inessa couldn't accept, but he couldn't tolerate either.

Just over ten hours ago, he was sitting in front of his computer playing games; he was an ordinary person who grew up in peacetime and had normal values.

Although I sometimes enjoy making light of things and watching some bizarre content, I haven't stooped to this level.

Even a fool could imagine the torment the embryo would suffer if it fell into Valeria's hands.

"But what means do you have to get through the fires of hell and face the High Lord?" Valeria asked, arms crossed.

Hextech took a deep breath: "I have a way!"

Right now, his adaptive helmet should be able to withstand the damage to his soul, buying him three and a half minutes.

If he can withstand the hellfire during this period, he will be able to reach the top.

The problem is, how do we deal with physical fire damage?

There are only two ways.

First, he'll gamble on a body tempering attempt. He still has one chance left to temper his body; if he can get an effect like a flame cloak or a significant increase in fire resistance, he might be able to withstand the damage.

Even with an extra piece of equipment, he still wouldn't be a match for the Demon Lord.

That leaves only one path.

In a short period of time, he frantically stacked up his health using Heart Steel.

Hextech looked at the countless monsters roaming around him, and a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.

Aren't these things in front of him the best props for stacking steel?

How many monsters are there here?

Thousands, tens of thousands!

He couldn't withstand the attack of thousands of monsters by himself, but luckily, there was a true demon by his side!
