I am the Executioner Dragon, but a cute mod.

Chapter 78: Returning Home in Glory

As the ideal world flourished, Su Nuo seemed to have already seen that ideal world. He couldn't help but recall the promise he made to Lilith before leaving home to venture out into the world, and felt that it was time to fulfill that promise.

He first entrusted the management of the Ideal Kingdom to Teppei. After spending time together, he realized that Teppei was the only person he could truly trust. Entrusting the management of the Ideal Kingdom to Teppei was the safest option for Su Nuo.

After settling the matter, Su Nu took the Kusanagi Sword and headed home. He crossed mountains, oceans, streams, and plains, taking several days to finally reach the towering peak.

After climbing the mountain, a huge lake came into view, and beside the lake stood a detached villa that was clearly out of step with this era...

"After a long time, I'm finally back..."

Su Nuo sighed, then strode excitedly toward the villa. Just as he arrived at the door and was about to knock, the door opened abruptly, leaving his hand still hanging in mid-air.

"You're back?"

Inside the door, Amelia looked at Su Nuo and saw that his eyes had lost some of their innocence and gained more composure. She knew that he had experienced considerable hardship in the outside world. She said:

"You must be suffering out there. Come in quickly."

Upon seeing Amelia, even though Su Nuo had killed many people outside, he couldn't help but smile. He followed Amelia into the house and looked around at everything.

During the time he was away, the furnishings in the house did not change much and remained exactly as he remembered.

Seeing these things, Su Nuo recalled the wonderful time he had spent here, which was almost the happiest time of his life.

"I knew you'd come back, so I've been cleaning your room every day. Do you want to go see it?"

As Sukuna reminisced about the past, Amelia suddenly spoke.

Hearing this, Su Nuo was somewhat moved, but he didn't mention going back to his room. After all, he wasn't home to rest, but to fulfill a promise he had made.

Sixteen-year-old Su Nuo is nearly 1.9 meters tall. The figure that used to be able to hold him in his arms now needs to be looked up to see his face clearly.

So Sukuna lowered his body and said to Amelia:

"Where's the boss? Where is he?"

Amelia said:

"He's still sleeping at this hour."

You know, the boss's favorite things are eating and sleeping. He was fine before you left, but after you left, he sleeps about twenty hours a day.

"This is way too outrageous..."

Su Nuo felt somewhat helpless. After establishing the ideal state, he had to deal with some trivial matters every day and consider how the organization should develop in the future.

Even with the help of Tieping and some scholars, the enormous workload still reduced Su Nuo's sleep time to about six hours.

Although this didn't affect Sukuna's health, he hadn't slept until he naturally woke up in a long time, and he couldn't help but envy Lilith's life.

But before that, he still had a goal to achieve, a path destined to be arduous...

Sukuna did not disturb Lilith's sleep. Instead, while waiting for Lilith to wake up, he went out of the house and came to the lake. His target was naturally the great demon Hebi, which was hiding at the bottom of the lake.

Of course, perhaps the former Jabami had the strength to kill the young Sukuna, but the current Sukuna is capable of killing Yamata no Orochi. Even if Jabami tries his best, he cannot defeat Sukuna.

However, having not seen Hebi for a long time, Sukuna couldn't shout. Just as he was thinking about whether to ask Amelia for help, a large shadow appeared in the lake.

The shadow rose rapidly, and as it broke through the water's surface, the water cascaded down with a "whoosh," causing the water level to drop. The newcomer was none other than She Ni.

"Kid, you've been back for so long, and only now you think to come see me?"

Upon seeing Su Nuo, She Bu was initially surprised by the change in his demeanor, but soon it became angry that Su Nuo had passed by the lake without calling out to it.

Perhaps because of the vast difference in strength, Sukuna, who had always been at a disadvantage when exchanging words with Hebi, sensed a hint of jealousy upon hearing this.

Su Nuo smiled and quickly comforted him:

"I'm here to see you now, you're all very important to me, so let's not worry about the order in which you come."

"Hmph, all they've learned over the years is some sweet talk."

Snake Bite snorted coldly, arrogantly turning its head away. A few seconds later, its snake-like eyes, as red as lamps, flickered, and it said again:

"I don't know why, but I always feel there's a terrifying aura about you. To be honest, what exactly have you been doing since you came down the mountain?"

Su Nuo didn't intend to hide it; in fact, one could say he was showing off.

"I didn't do anything special. I just killed the Yamata no Orochi and gathered people with shared ideals together to accomplish our common cause..."

"What did you say? Yamata no Orochi?!"

Upon hearing Sukuna's words, the entire Yamata no Orochi was terrified. Who was Yamata no Orochi? He was the strongest yokai to have lived since ancient times, a mobile calamity, and the king of curses.

When Orochi was young, he was dissatisfied with Orochi's title of King of Curses and wanted to fight Orochi one-on-one. However, he only glanced at Orochi from afar and realized that it was a terrifying existence that he could never touch in his entire life.

And what about Sukuna? He's just a kid who's only fifteen or sixteen years old. How could he possibly kill the Yamata no Orochi, which has lived for who knows how long?

So the snake said decisively:

"You're lying to me. Even if you're much stronger than me now, don't think I can be easily fooled. I haven't lived these years for nothing."

Hebi vehemently denied that Sukuna had killed the Yamata no Orochi, until Sukuna, barely suppressing a laugh, pulled out an ancient longsword shrouded in mist, instantly drawing Hebi's attention.

Snake carefully examined the ancient longsword shrouded in mist. The more it looked, the more it could sense the sword's extraordinary nature. In fact, it even felt a familiar aura emanating from the sword.

What kind of aura was that? Ancient and powerful, even carrying an indescribable evil. As he pondered, Serpent Bane gradually recalled his youth, when he was full of ambition and searching for the Yamata no Orochi.

I thought that even if I was at my worst, I could at least exchange a few blows, but after just one glance from afar, I was so frightened by that terrifying aura that I fled without a fight.

This longsword carries the aura of the Yamata no Orochi; it might even be a cursed artifact transformed from the Yamata no Orochi after its death. This surprised Hebi, who said incredulously:

"You really killed Yamata no Orochi?!"

Su Nuo smiled and nodded slightly.

Upon seeing the incredulous expression on Hebi's face, Sukuna felt a surge of immense accomplishment, as if he had finally gained recognition, and couldn't help but raise his head.

At that moment, a voice suddenly rang out:

"After killing Yamata no Orochi, you will become the next King of Curses."

Hearing this, Su Nuo was somewhat taken aback. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw that Lilith had woken up at some point and was watching his conversation with She Nuo from the second-floor balcony...
