I am the Executioner Dragon, but a cute mod.

Chapter 122: Announcing the Arrival of God

After Orochi took over the Panxing Cult, the entire cult existed for him. Because he descended into a clone, Orochi could not gain modern common sense like other sorcerers who were resurrected through flesh.

Thus, the Panxing Cult became the stepping stone for the Great Serpent to understand this era. The more he understood humanity, the stronger his desire to eliminate them became.

After thousands of years of development, humanity's destruction of harmony and order has far surpassed that of yokai (cursed spirits). The great serpent, which exists to maintain harmony and order, desperately wants to reduce humanity, but:

The serpent did not hate humans. All he did was try to restore humans to a balance with all things. He did not want to kill innocent people, so he set his sights on sorcerers.

In this world, monsters were born from a curse. To completely eliminate monsters, all humans would have to be killed, but that is not what the Great Serpent wants to see.

His idea was to eliminate the powerful sorcerers and monsters, and achieve a balance between humans and monsters, just like the balance between humans and nature.

How should powerful sorcerers and yokai be defined? Orochi didn't know, so he sought out Kentaro, a high-ranking member of the Panxing Cult, and learned from him the ranking system for yokai and sorcerers.

From lowest to highest, they are level four, level three, level two, level one, and special level.

To put it simply, Level 4 is equivalent to an ordinary person holding a wooden stick or a short knife, Level 3 is equivalent to an ordinary person holding a conventional pistol, Level 2 is equivalent to an ordinary person holding a rifle or machine gun, Level 1 is equivalent to an ordinary person driving a main battle tank, and Level 3 is equivalent to an ordinary person flying a bomber.

This explanation would be easy for any modern person to understand, but Orochi is not a modern person. He had no idea what guns, tanks, and bombers were, so he kept asking questions until Kenshiro explained it to him, and then he intuitively understood what these classifications represented.

After some deliberation, the serpent finally devised a purging plan: to eliminate all level one and above cursed spirits and sorcerers.

To achieve this goal, Orochi used the power of the Panxing Cult to search extensively for cursed spirits/sorcerers who met the requirements for cleansing.

He won't go to clean up immediately, as that would only cause a commotion. Only after all the targets have been found will the giant serpent make its move and eliminate all the discord in one fell swoop.

Of course, not all followers of the Panxing Cult are willing to obey the Great Serpent's arrangements. They outwardly submit to the Great Serpent, but secretly go against it.

One of the super-rich tycoons, through special channels, revealed the news that Orochi had been resurrected and was determined to massacre the world of sorcery.

At first, no one in the sorcery world took it seriously, since the person who released the message was not a sorcerer. But this tycoon was so rich that he directly offered a ten million bounty for the head of the new leader of the Panxing Cult.

The impoverished sorcerer couldn't resist the temptation and went to the Panxing Cult, but never returned. Through this method, the wealthy man successfully made the sorcery world aware of the truth of the information, but at the cost of several precious lives.

When Gojo Satoru learned of this, she became extremely interested. As the strongest sorcerer of her time, she was very curious about what level the Yamata no Orochi was at a thousand years ago.

Before the higher-ups in the sorcery world could make a decision, Gojo Satoru decided to go to the Pansei Cult to personally meet the so-called [Great Serpent].

But just before he was about to set off, Natsumi Eri suddenly found her, holding a quest to deal with a level one cursed spirit:

"Wunai, you're here! Perfect timing! I just took on a mission to deal with level one cursed spirits. I've lost all of them, so could you come with me?"

As Natsumi Eri said this, her eyes still gleamed with anticipation. At this moment, Gojo Satoru really wanted to say, "Even without the cursed spirit, you're more than capable of dealing with a level one cursed spirit based solely on your total cursed power."

But thinking that she had just said not long ago that "a true friend is someone you can rely on," and looking at Natsumi Eri's almost overflowing expectation, it would be too impolite to refuse.

Gojo Satoru sighed, deciding to temporarily put aside her plan to see the Yamata no Orochi. She said:

"Okay, let's go."

"That's great! Satoru, you're so kind!"

Upon hearing this, Natsume Eri cheered and went off to catch Pokémon with Gojo Satoru.

Gojou Satoru originally wanted to finish the battle quickly, catch all the Pokémon, and then go see Orochi. But Natsume Eri seemed to have received the mission from a wholesale market. After finishing one, there were two more, and after finishing two, there were three more.

They continued doing the Pokémon catching missions over and over again until the next day, when they finally finished all the missions. Although it wasn't exactly tiring, it almost exhausted Gojou Satoru's patience.

Natsume Eri naturally noticed Gojo Satoru's impatience and felt a little embarrassed, so she thanked her:

"Gono, thank you. Without you, it would have taken me a very long time to collect so many spirits."

Upon hearing this, Gojou Satoru's impatience vanished, and she laughed heartily, saying:

"We're best friends, so it's only right that we do this."

To this, Natsumi Eri laughed, a laugh even happier than when she regained her cursed spirit. She waved goodbye to Gojo Satoru and said:

"That's great! I'll definitely come back to you next time, Goro."

Upon hearing this, Gojo Satoru's face stiffened, then he gave an awkward smile:

"Okay, it's a deal."

After saying goodbye to Natsumi Eri, Gojo Satoru was finally able to head to the Panxing Cult headquarters to see Orochi.

As a long-established non-magician organization, the Panxing Cult has no standing in the world of sorcery, but it wields considerable influence outside the community and plays a significant role in managing public opinion. Therefore, the sorcery community dares not completely offend the Panxing Cult.

But Gojo Satoru was the strongest man in the world. He could not afford to offend the Panxing Sect; in fact, he had the power to destroy it. So he swaggered into the Panxing Sect and shouted at the followers:

"Hey, where's your boss? Get him out here right now, I'm going to give him a good kick in the ass."

The believers didn't know how to respond to this, but they did know Gojo Gosho. After all, a big reason why the assassination attempt on the Starmash Body failed was that Gojo Gosho delayed Fushiguro Jinji for a long enough time, allowing the Starmash Body to successfully assimilate with Tengen.

In order to get rid of the giant serpent's rule, the believers pointed out the location of the serpent without hesitation, which surprised Gojo Satoru.

But as unexpected as it may be, the most important thing is to find Orochi as soon as possible and have a good fight with him.

Following the directions of the believers, Gojo Satoru arrived at the room where the giant serpent was. Unable to contain his excitement, he kicked the door open.

"Hey you giant snake, come out right now, I'm going to kick your ass!"

Gojo Satoru shouted, but when she saw the layout of the room, she was taken aback.

Not only was there no one in sight, but there was also a large hole in the wall. Sensing the two completely different cursed powers remaining in the room, Gojo Satoru instantly realized that the giant snake had been lured away by someone else beforehand.

Thinking of this, Gojo Satoru felt a pang of frustration:

"Damn it, it's not the first one? Orochi, don't die yet, I haven't had a proper fight with you..."
