Simultaneous Journey: Starting from Holy Terra

Chapter 215 Reencounter with Tzeentch, Saving the Battle Nun

The Stormy Starfield, or Stormy Starfield, is a region located in the southern part of the solar system that has long been considered half of the solar system's backyard.

There are many major worlds in Terra, the main ones being:

Ophelia VII in the Ophelia system is a combination of the world of bishops and the world of temples, and a rich planet that is used for forging planets. There is also Ophelia IV, an equally rich planet.

Baka, the Imperial naval base in the Stormy Starfield; Dachia, the Mechanicus research base;

Posur, a world almost perpetually shrouded in darkness, is the homeworld of the Mortifactors Chapter of the Space Marines. It is inhabited by a savage nomadic people who wage constant war against each other. Local nomads recruited by the Chapter are known for eating the flesh of their defeated enemies as a ritual to gain their strength and technology.

As an aside, the Xenoblade Chronicles is a sub-chronicle of Ultramarines, and a chapter with a significant role in the story.

The planet Krieg, which Ye Ming has already arrived at, and the planet Greie, which he passed by, are actually all part of the Storm Starfield.

The "Storm Starfield" that Ye Ming had been trying to enter was actually the core of the Storm Starfield, which was the Ophelia system region!

The reason for going here is to rescue Ophelia VII ahead of time.

This planet is extremely important. It was not only once Terra's sister planet, but also the location of the monastery, the holy site of the Council of the State Church and the State Sisters, as well as humanity's second holy site, the House of the Battle Sisters!

After the 13th Black Expedition and the fall of Cardia in 999.M41, the Ophelia system was trapped in the newly formed Great Rift.

It's been about two or three years now!

During this period, this bishop world was long invaded by chaotic demons, and Blue Flame Tyrant, one of Tzeentch's many-faced lords, was constantly attacking and enslaving the planet using various means.

In the original storyline, when Guilliman's expeditionary fleet arrived at Ophelia VII, the planet was almost completely overrun, and the entire planet had been enslaved by Tzeentch!

Even if they were eventually rescued, more than 50% of the fighting nuns here had already been injured!

The sacrifices of the battle nuns were not in vain; it was because of their sacrifices that this bountiful world was able to sustain itself until the arrival of the indomitable expeditionary force.

But since Ye Ming came as a special operations team, there's no reason for him to just watch them sacrifice themselves!

However, Ye Ming cannot engage in direct combat; at most, he can play a supporting role and look for opportunities to enter the battlefield from the periphery.

Ideally, they should confront Tzeentch directly. Once the most troublesome Tzeentch is banished, the nuns can handle the rest of the demons themselves.

This not only reduces casualties and preserves combat effectiveness, but also saves time to the greatest extent possible!

Ye Ming had not forgotten that the battles would become increasingly fierce in the next few millennia, especially after the Unyielding Expedition, when the intensity of the battles in the Milky Way would rise sharply.

The more combat power we can preserve now, the more crucial it will be in future major battles!

puff.

The door to the command center opened, and Cherson, now a Primal Space Marine, returned with his blood-soaked squad.

"My lord, we're back."

"How's the situation on Ophelia VII now?" Ye Ming nodded to them, gesturing for them to sit down and talk.

To gather diverse perspectives, Ye Ming expanded the conference room on the strike cruiser. When formulating large-scale tactics, not only the company commander was present, but also the deputy commanders in the company would be there to listen and have the right to make suggestions.

This made the atmosphere in Ye Ming's battle group very open, allowing the soldiers to speak freely while ensuring his authority, and even joke with Ye Ming in peacetime.

This is beneficial to the growth of the soldiers. Ye Ming is not treating them as ordinary expendable resources, but as future officers to be trained!

His battle group will inevitably expand, eventually reaching a thousand men, and may even need to be divided into subgroups. The soldiers currently being trained will then become the new commanders.

Training them now will benefit their future.

"It hasn't completely fallen yet. Most of the territory has been occupied by the Tzeentch Demons, but there are still quite a few Imperial troops resisting."

Cherson gave a report.

He led a reconnaissance team of five Space Marines and infiltrated the Ophelia VII to conduct reconnaissance.

Despite being disrupted and attacked by Tzeentch's prophecy, they successfully brought back crucial information.

Half of the world aboard Ophelia VII has fallen, and the remaining half is also being lost. Countless people have been enslaved by the demon Tzeentch, and millions of battle nuns have died in battle!

However, half the population of the entire planet is still putting up a fierce resistance!

"If we break in now, we might be able to find traces of that great demon; he's been performing sacrifices!"

"If we break in now, we might be able to find traces of that great demon; he's been performing sacrifices!"

Cherson was very anxious because during his investigation, he witnessed the tragedy there and saw firsthand the people in the galaxy who were tormented by demons.

He wanted to save those people, and he wanted to do something for those who were also suffering!

"I'm also very anxious, but we can't just rush in blindly. Is there a specific coordinate?"

Ye Ming looked at the map. He also wanted to rush down to rescue the people of the empire, but he was also responsible for an entire battle group. He had to be responsible for his battle group and fleet.

Even during the Great Crusade, Space Marines operating in legions dared not directly storm into planets occupied by the enemy.

At the very least, we need to figure out the enemy's troop distribution before we can carry out targeted strikes and airdrops.

"Yes, this is the data we collected."

Ye Ming's battle group used computers brought from the world of Super God Academy and was equipped with a large number of technological devices that lacked AI intelligence and only had rigid, dead programs.

While dispatching small teams to conduct ground investigations, Ye Ming's fleet was also carrying out aerial scans, recording the locations of all the continents on the entire planet.

However, without intelligent AI to regulate big data, it is impossible to accurately locate the enemy's area. The only way to achieve the effect of creating a strategic map is to monitor energy reactions and send people to collect ground data for input.

Even so, it seems to be more convenient than most of the Empire's current military equipment.

Cherson retrieved the input data, and the map automatically refreshed. When it reappeared, the approximate locations of the defenders and demons were marked, along with several areas suspected to be demon priests.

"It's still not accurate enough. We don't have that many chances of making mistakes. Andrei, can you make a prediction?" Ye Ming asked his think tank director.

Andrei also took off his helmet at this moment, revealing his thick beard and smooth long hair.

Who would have thought that the always serious Andrei would actually be such a handsome man?

"Yes, but the other party is the Great Demon Tzeentch, so there's a high chance of something going wrong or being tracked back."

"It's okay, I can cut off the other party's reverse connection to you at any time, or call a few more people to help?"

"Okay."

I'm taking another day off in 2029. I've finished working on the later parts of the story, but I'm experiencing some writer's block and I'm not entirely satisfied with the writing.
