Exorcism in Los Angeles? Just talk it out!

Chapter 33 The evil spirit 'Li Ang' is causing trouble again.

"A carousel? Are they riding a carousel?"

"Tell me, what kind of case can you possibly investigate at a carousel?"

Seeing Li Ang riding the carousel with her, Brandon Knight was so angry that he crushed the soda can in his hand, not caring that the cola soaked his expensive clothes.

"Are we going to ride the roller coaster? The Ferris wheel? Then after leaving the amusement park, see a movie, have a coffee, and then go to the hotel..."

The thought of what was about to happen made Brandon Knight grit his teeth in hatred; the more he looked at that pretty boy, the more he felt he was a scoundrel.

"Find the right opportunity, give that pretty boy a good beating, and make him back down..."

"Understood, Master Brandon."

kill?

For wealthy families, killing is never a difficult task. But the richer the capitalists are, the more cautious they are. Even if they were to kill someone, they would never get their hands dirty, nor would they leave any clues for the FBI.

Moreover, Christina has no shortage of suitors, and Brandon thought it was incredibly foolish to kill them one by one.

The best way is to show off your wealth, beat this poor kid up, and make him back down...

If the other party still doesn't know what's good for them, then let them experience just how tough the iron fist of capital can be—

……

……

"Speaking of which, you always carry a pot of lilies with you. Is there anything special about these flowers? Can lilies communicate with spirits?"

"It's not that the lily is spiritually connected, but rather that I have been watering it with my spiritual power over the years, which is why it has become a spiritually connected flower."

"Just like how holy water and crosses can exorcise demons, it's actually just human willpower attached to them, the same principle applies."

Li Ang and Christina rode the carousel for a while. After learning that Li Ang had come to the amusement park to investigate at the request of an official exorcist, Christina became interested.

She claimed that she happened to be investigating a case as well, and that they were going the same way, so she joined Li Ang in the investigation. She then asked him about evil spirits and about the so-called official exorcists.

To Christina's disappointment, this so-called official department was not as mysterious or prestigious as it appears in Hollywood movies.

He was just listed as an employee of the FBI, and that was it.

"So, the so-called official exorcist organization is just a figurehead within the FBI? And each of them has an FBI agent's badge and goes around performing exorcisms?"

Li Ang nodded, "That's roughly it, but if it's some details that require assistance or cooperation from your police, I won't ask for help, since I've never been involved before."

"Okay," Christina nodded. "Then why don't you consider joining them?"

Li Ang waved his hand, "I haven't thought about it yet, we'll talk about it later."

"All right."

Christina glanced at the potted plant in Leon's hand and noticed that it hadn't moved at all after going around the room. She knew that they probably weren't looking for it here. "It seems not here. Let's go somewhere else."

Li Ang stroked his chin. "Alright, the amusement park is so big, it'll probably take quite a while..."

Christina asked curiously, "If a missing person happened to be murdered, could you find the body through their spirit?"

Li Ang nodded and said, "Of course we can find them, but only if their souls can remain in the mortal world."

Christina asked, "What do you mean?"

Li Ang shrugged. "Literally, after a person dies, there may be a Grim Reaper to guide them, or they may go to hell or heaven on their own. Most people don't stay in the same place for that long."

Christina frowned her beautiful brows and muttered to herself, "If that's the case, then it's troublesome. I wonder where those two missing people are, and whether they were killed by people in the amusement park. The longer it drags on, the greater the probability of their deaths."

"They might have already been dismembered and flushed down the sewers."

Li Ang joked, "Why don't you check the sewers and septic tanks in the amusement park to see if there are any human bones or anything like that?"

Christina rolled her eyes. "What you said is possible, but just having suspicion and then sending the police to search the amusement park's sewers is impossible. This amusement park belongs to the Hollywood giant Disney; they would never agree to that..."

They even prevented them from entering the amusement park in police uniforms for investigation, fearing it would damage their reputation; they could only enter in plainclothes.

Those damned financial giants are making it difficult for them to investigate cases.

"Oh, right..." Christina's eyes suddenly lit up, as if she had thought of something, "You just said that the soul exists for a period of time after a person dies. How long exactly is this period?"

Li Ang said, "I'm not sure, but if it was a murder, the resentment would usually linger and last longer..."

"That's right! Follow me." Christina pulled Leon up, and they immediately got off the carousel and ran towards a certain place...

"Hey, where are we going?"

"Go to the toilet."

"Ah, the toilet is no good, it smells terrible. Let's go to the hotel, and I'll buy a small umbrella while I'm there."

"What are you thinking? I'm going to drag you to the toilet to find the corpse."

As Christina walked, she explained, "If our case is a murder, where could a body be hidden to mask the stench? It would definitely be in the toilet. Let's start by searching the toilets in the amusement park and see if we can find their spirits..."

Li Ang wondered if he had encountered an evil spirit that ate corpses along with them.

but……

It seems extremely rare; even the bandaged man he encountered on the No. 13 death bus was reduced to a skeleton.

……

Brandon Knight's eyes lit up when he saw Leon head to the nearby restroom. He immediately told his two bodyguards, "Come on, go in and give him a good beating, preferably break a few of his bones."

The two bodyguards nodded. "Yes, Mr. Brandon."

"I'll wait for you guys outside." Brandon said smugly, finding a corner to wait and watch the show outside the restroom.

When they arrived at the restroom, Li Ang carried the flowers into the men's room. After he finished, he went to the washbasin and turned on the tap. He inexplicably felt a chill that sent shivers down his spine.

Looking up, he saw Li Ang in the mirror, his face pale, staring at him with a vicious and cold expression.

"Why are you here again... How annoying!"

At this moment, two burly men dressed in plain clothes, one in black and one in white, silently walked in and approached Li Ang.

Just as one of the large black men was about to make a move, he was suddenly pulled back by the large white man.

"What's wrong, Tom?"

"Jerry, Jerry...look, look in the mirror...my eyes...it seems, it seems like there's something wrong with them..."

The large black man followed the other man's gaze and immediately froze.

Because the person Young Master Brandon wanted to teach a lesson about was his reflection in the mirror...

He took off his own head and pressed it into the washbasin.

Look at Li Ang, then look at his reflection in the mirror.

"Oh my god!" The big black man's eyes rolled back, and he immediately fainted.
