HP: Wizards at Hogwarts

Chapter 11 He's a demon!

"Great, another one solved!"

"That was so effortless!"

Elaine swung his pistol forward and fired two more shots into the middle-aged wizard's heart before crouching down and starting to search his body.

"A magic wand."

"Money... 47 Galleons, 18 Sikor, 26 Nat, a bit richer than the previous ones."

"Wait, what's this?"

After looting the corpse, Elaine pulled a palm-sized, somewhat old, light gray pouch from the middle-aged wizard.

Although the pocket was worn out, there was something else inside.

"This...could it be a spatial bag that has been enchanted with a seamless expansion spell?!"

Logically speaking, these things should have some value, but Elaine is not very familiar with them and dares not use them easily, much less keep them.

"The things on a black wizard might be carrying some kind of curse."

"Just to be on the safe side, I'd better take it to a recycling center and have it recycled."

After taking all the valuables from the middle-aged wizard, Elaine got up and left the alley, heading towards Borginborough Stores.

Boginburger is the oldest shop in Knockturn Alley, specializing in all sorts of dark magic items.

Its status here is basically equivalent to that of Ollivander and Gringotts in Diagon Alley.

squeak-

Pushing open the shop door, a variety of objects exuding a dark aura immediately come into view.

Poisoned candles, a shrunken human head, a withered human hand, the venom of an eight-eyed giant spider, a black necklace of unknown meaning...

Even though he was prepared, Elaine couldn't help but get nervous.

"Boss, we have a customer!"

The owner of Knockturn Alley is named Karaktakus Burke. He has greasy, long black hair and is a middle-aged man who looks rather sinister.

The moment he saw Elaine, a malicious smile crept onto his lips.

"Oh? A strange little wizard? What kind of business are you looking for?"

Elaine quickly composed himself and asked, "Would you like to do item recycling?"

Old Bock chuckled and said, "That depends on what kind of object it is."

"After all, this isn't a garbage dump; I don't accept just anything!"

"I know, take a look at the goods first!"

thump—

Elaine slapped the newly acquired spatial pocket onto the counter.

Old Bock raised an eyebrow: "A pouch enchanted with a Seamless Stretch Charm? This pouch looks familiar..."

"That's probably because you recently did business with his former owner."

Elaine said casually, making no attempt to hide the fact that this thing was 'ill-gotten'.

"Name your price for this bag and everything inside!"

Old Bock was taken aback when he saw this.

He probably remembered who the pocket originally belonged to, and subconsciously asked, "Where did you get this?"

"Does your store even inquire about this?"

"...No, I was just asking casually."

"Borgward Burke has never forced customers to explain the origin of their items. If you don't want to tell me, I won't force you."

Merlin's scarf!

Are all young wizards these days so daring?

Judging from his seasoned demeanor, anyone who didn't know better would think he had been subjected to a soul-stealing curse by some dark wizard.

"Now, let me see what's inside."

After a few seconds of silence, Old Burke seemed to be persuaded by Elaine and picked up his spatial bag to start taking things out.

The first thing he took out was a few vials of medicine.

"A vial of safflower essence, a dose of 'life-and-death water,' and a small jar of compound decoction?"

Old Bock chuckled: "Nothing special."

He continued to scoop it out.

"Fecal stones, scabies treatment, burn ointment, blood tonics, and gill stalks?"

Old Bock's upturned lips drooped slightly, but his gaze became intrigued: "This is getting interesting."

"Truth serum, euphoria serum, hair growth serum, wolfsbane serum?"

The smile on Old Bock's face vanished completely, replaced by a serious expression.

"Giant skin, mermaid scales, crocodile teeth, one-eyed spider venom, Thestral tail hairs?"

The quantity and variety of items in the bag far exceeded Old Bock's expectations.

What surprised him even more was that several of the items inside had been sold from his store.

After cleaning out all sorts of odds and ends, old Burke was stunned by what was left.

"Eight...eight magic wands?!"

For wizards, their wands are their second life, and they will never change hands unless a major event occurs.

This applies to both orthodox wizards and dark wizards.

But at this moment, eight magic wands appeared here!

Now that the wands are here, it's obvious what happened to their original owners.

"This wand, I think it belongs to someone..."

"And this one, it's..."

Old Bock swallowed hard, trying to calm his wildly beating heart.

As a long-time shop owner in Flip Lane, how could he not know what all of this meant?

Those guys must have thought the young wizard was easy to bully because of his age, so they couldn't wait to make their move, but they didn't expect him to be a ruthless person and get killed instead!

The course of events is not difficult to deduce, but the conclusion that comes from that deduction is truly unbelievable.

How old is this little wizard?

Are you of Hogwarts age yet?

They managed to take down those old guys who had been running rampant in Fandao Alley for years and no one could stop them without making a sound.

Or is there someone more powerful behind this little wizard, and he's just being used to attract attention?

clap clap-

"Hey, what are you thinking about? I'm asking you a question!!"

Old Burke snapped out of his daze and happened to meet Elaine's impatient gaze, instantly breaking out in a cold sweat.

Regardless of whether this little wizard is the mastermind or someone else's accomplice, it's best not to offend him right now!

"Ah, no, it's nothing!"

"I mean... please forgive this old man who is hard of hearing."

Old Bock's tone suddenly became amiable: "Now, please allow me to confirm again, esteemed guest, what did you just say?"

"Excellent, excellent! That's the attitude a businessman should have!"

Elaine's lips curled up slightly, his eyes cleared, and he seemed to think he was easy to talk to.

"Mr. Burke is getting on in years and his hearing is failing, which I can fully understand."

"In that case, I'll ask the question again."

"These……"

Elaine paused, thought for a moment, and then reached out and picked up one of the eight wands from the counter.

"How much did you pay for all of these things in total?"

Old Burke breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had escaped a disaster, but Elaine's next words made his heart leap into his throat again.

"I hope your eyes are better than your ears!"

"If these eyes are so old and blurry that they can't judge the value of the goods, then let's just discard them..."

Merlin's underwear!

Where the hell did this devil come from?!
