They nestled together quietly, and before being found, they walked hand in hand into the clear pool.

"Since then, the local villagers have called this pool the Pool of Longing. They believe that the pool witnessed a heart-wrenching love story, but it was also cursed."

Outsiders are forbidden from entering the pool to disturb them, or they will be cursed. Perhaps this is why the Pool of Longing has been so well protected for so many years.

Fearing for her safety, Li Chang'an used his strong physique to push through the water and reach the sinking squad leader. He then embraced her soft waist and began to pull her to the surface.

But just then, Wen Zhilan in his arms suddenly opened her eyes.
