Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 61 Gaia's Curse

The breath flowed smoothly.

Prometheus felt the closeness of the blood-red bubbles before him, and the connection that came from his bloodline, and he knew that he had succeeded.

Hecate had already woven the destiny of this unborn goddess, leaving everything else unchanged except for bestowing upon her innocence and chastity.

Prometheus was still a little uneasy, so he took out the Bottle of Life and a portion of the laws governing the changes of fate, and infused them into the bubbles to ensure that the goddess would be a pure and loving goddess of war after her birth.

However, considering that innocence probably symbolized a curse for Aphrodite, he used a little more divine power to help her condense the laws.

The goddess of love and beauty born in this way will only be more powerful and more beautiful than the one in the original trajectory.

This can be considered a small compensation from Prometheus to her.

Since the ocean had presented such a generous gift, Prometheus could not remain silent, so he asked Oceanus, the lord of the ocean, if he needed any help.

Oceanus declined repeatedly, but finally said somewhat awkwardly that he hoped Prometheus would take Nico with him.

"Although this child is not very bright, the laws are still somewhat effective. If he can be fortunate enough to stay by your side and broaden his horizons, that would be a blessing for our ocean."

Oceanus spoke very tactfully, while little Nicolas stood to the side, his face full of resentment, his round eyes widening even more. But just as he was about to retort, he was scared back by a look from Tethys.

Little Nicola pouted pitifully, looking at Prometheus with a wronged expression.

Prometheus found it somewhat amusing and gave Hecate a wink. Hecate understood and beckoned to Nicholas.

Nicola immediately went from crying to laughing and happily rushed towards Hecate.

Prometheus then looked at Oceanus and said with a smile, "Since you, Lord of the Oceanus, trust me so much, I will take Nicola with me for now. There are many things she can help with."

"You're welcome, you're welcome. It's her good fortune that Nicole can help you. It just so happens that her mother, Styx, is also in the Underworld, so the mother and daughter can look after each other."

Tethys smiled and said, also eager to send Nicholas away.

After exchanging a few more polite words, Oceanus assured Prometheus that he would immediately send someone to inform him if the blood-red bubbles showed any movement, before reluctantly parting ways.

Prometheus was quite satisfied with his voyage across the ocean.

He gained a powerful descendant who didn't require much effort from Him, and even received a goddess of victory as a free bonus. Most importantly, He gained the favor of the ocean.

As a major ocean current that encircles the world, and with an endless lineage of offspring, Oceanus's status will only rise in the present day.

For Prometheus, maintaining a good relationship with such a god would have brought many benefits.

Just as He was pondering whether or not to accept Nicholas from God now, a green figure appeared before Him.

The newcomer was dressed in a long green dress, looked somewhat haggard, and even the divine power around her was somewhat turbulent. It was none other than Gaia, the Earth Mother Goddess.

"Great Mother Earth, what's wrong with you?"

Prometheus looked surprised. He sensed the ethereal divine power emanating from Gaia, indicating that the primordial mother goddess was clearly not in good condition.

Gaia sighed, glanced at Hecate, but said nothing.

Prometheus immediately understood and gave Hecate a look, after which Hecate took Nicola and left.

Soon, only Prometheus and Gaia remained in this world.

"Prometheus, my child, I need your help. I truly don't know what to do."

Gaia spoke with a hint of sadness in her voice, her expression sorrowful.

"What happened?" Prometheus asked with concern.

"You know, I still have six children trapped in the abyss of Tartarus." Gaia hesitated, then continued, "I want to release them, but..."

"Cronus rejected you, didn't he?" Prometheus finished Gaia's sentence, and Gaia sighed again and nodded.

As the mother of all things, the great Earth Goddess Gaia would not despise her children for being ugly; she would love each and every one of them equally.

Although the Cyclops and the Hecatoncheires were incredibly ugly and vastly different from the gods, Gaia still felt sorry for them being imprisoned for so long.

Gaia was deeply saddened and filled with resentment when Cronus refused to release the giants because he feared they were too powerful.

She was the one who helped the Titans defeat Uranus, but in the end, she couldn't even release a child.

However, without the permission of the God-King, the Hundred-Handed Giant and the Cyclops could not come out. Gaia had no other choice but to ask Prometheus.

After all, in Gaia's eyes, Prometheus was incredibly intelligent and always came up with many useful ideas; perhaps he had a solution.

But once I said it, it felt like my pent-up frustration had found an outlet, and I couldn't help but say a few more words:

"Cronus won't even look at me now. He used to be so sensible and obedient, but now..."

"Prometheus, do you know that no one has ever dared to turn me away before, not even Uranus, but now Cronus has refused my request to see him time and time again."

"But the thing is, there's nothing I can do about it."

Listening to Mother Earth's incessant complaints and sensing the uncontrollable resentment in her eyes, Prometheus spoke.

"Revered Earth Mother, do you wish to release the six giants, or do you seek revenge against Cronus?"

Gaia was slightly taken aback by these words, but Prometheus continued speaking on his own:

"If you want to release those six giants, I can't do that for now. After all, only the King of Gods can do that. If Cronus doesn't agree, no one can."

Gaia's expression immediately showed disappointment, but she quickly realized something and asked, "What if I want to retaliate against Cronus's disrespect? Do you have a way?"

"Cronus was only disrespectful to me, but he did not violate the law of procreation. I have no way to punish him, there is nothing I can do about him."

"I cannot even refuse to give them children, that would be against my own law."

As Gaia spoke, her expression grew increasingly agitated.

"Revered Mother Goddess, if you truly wish to punish Him, you only need to bless Him," Prometheus said with a smile.

"Bless Him?"

Gaia was stunned again, and for a moment she was completely bewildered.

"Yes, to bless Him, to bless Him with the power of procreation, to enable Him to bear offspring, is the greatest curse upon Him."

Gaia: "?"

Although I don't understand it, I still feel...

It seems quite useful.
