Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 16 Two Prophecies

Gaia refused Prometheus's prophetic help, partly out of resentment over Cronus's affair, but more so out of pride as a primordial god.

She was the first living being in the world, the mother of all gods, the nurturer of all things, and even the god-king Uranus was born of her.

But what about Prometheus? He's just a junior to her. Why should she need a junior to solve her problems?

Therefore, Gaia rejected Prometheus and secretly resolved to fight against Uranus using her own laws and methods!

Her actions gave hope to the twelve Titans who had suffered under the oppression of the God-King for years.

Uranus was too powerful, so powerful that no one dared to resist him. But that doesn't mean that if someone dared to resist, the twelve Titans wouldn't be eager to fight back.

It was simply because they had endured such a miserable existence for far too long, to the point that they had gradually become numb.

In their eyes, the only one who could rival the powerful god-king who wielded the power of creation was Gaia, the mother goddess of all things.

So even before the Cyclops was born, the gods were already eagerly awaiting its arrival.

To their surprise, the three Cyclopes, though powerful, were far from enough to defeat the God-King. They had only just been born and hadn't even seen what they looked like before they were sealed away forever.

The power of the God-King is simply despair-inducing.

But they soon discovered that Gaia had not given up; she had once again begun to unite with Uranus, attempting to give birth to an even more powerful life.

Moreover, this time, the rhythm of the laws of heaven and earth was even stronger than when the three Cyclopes were conceived!

This means that the god Gaia gives birth to this time will be even more powerful than the Cyclops!

Thus, the gods, who were somewhat disappointed by the Cyclops's sealing away, began to look forward to it once again.

So much so that they couldn't help but gather together to discuss what kind of divine power Gaia would give birth to this time.

"The laws are vibrating so strongly; the person must have been born with divine power!" Oceanus, the ocean god, said after carefully sensing the energy, his eyes filled with delight. "This time, perhaps the outcome will be very different!"

"Even the divine power of the gods seems insufficient before the King of Gods..." Koeus, a symbol of wisdom and foresight, couldn't help but say.

"What if it's a material god with divine power?" said Hyperion, the sun god. "If several of them come, even the king of gods won't be able to handle it too easily."

“Yes, isn’t the God-King also born of the great Earth Mother? Since the Earth Mother can give birth to such a powerful being as the God-King, she must also be able to give birth to beings who can oppose the God-King,” Iapetus said.

The other deities couldn't help but nod secretly upon hearing this, their anticipation growing even stronger.

They seemed to see their suffering days finally coming to an end!

But just as the gods were eagerly anticipating and overjoyed, a voice suddenly appeared:

"Your Highnesses, do you really believe this matter can be resolved by the great Mother Goddess?"

The gods were startled by the voice, and when they looked in the direction of the sound, they saw a face that evoked extremely complex emotions in them.

It was Prometheus.

The gods both loved and hated this god of prophecy.

They both resent His prophecies for bringing them to such a state and feel that His prophecies are accurate, and that everything He said has come true.

Apart from a certain god whose aura was extremely faint, this one is Pure Hatred.

"Who sent Him?!"

Cronus, who had been standing silently in the corner, couldn't help but rebuke Prometheus upon seeing him.

"I."

A clear, cold voice rang out, and the Goddess of Order, dressed in a white gauze dress, with a head of dazzling golden hair and her eyes covered by a white cloth, stepped forward and said calmly:

"I think we need more prophecies. Is there a problem?"

Kronos gritted his teeth and said nothing more.

There was nothing that could be done; His aura was so weak at this moment. After being split into four, Cronus had completely become a "destroyed god."

The other gods exchanged bewildered glances, until finally Oceanus, the ocean god, spoke up, asking, "Themis, what do you mean by this?"

"Don't you want to know what will happen in the future?"

Themis's voice remained calm, yet carried an undeniable power of law: "Don't you want to know when order will return?"

The gods fell silent.

How could they not want to know?

However, they were always somewhat reluctant to confront Prometheus, after all, he was their descendant, and his senses were more complicated due to the previous prophecy.

Finally, it was Iapetus, Prometheus's father, who spoke up somewhat impatiently: "What prophecy do you have? Speak!"

Prometheus, somewhat exasperated with his father's impatience, cleared his throat and spoke as all the gods looked at him:

"I have two prophecies."

"The first prophecy is that Uranus, the king of the gods, will rule the world for a century. After that century, he will be replaced, and a new era will begin. And you all here..."

At this point, He smiled and said, word by word, "They will all become the most powerful and most honorable beings in the new era."

Upon hearing this, all the gods widened their eyes in astonishment.

Almost at the same time Prometheus finished speaking, the twelve Titans all felt the destined power, which made them clearly understand that the prophecy was true.

They couldn't help but be overjoyed.

But it wasn't because of his future prestigious status, but because he was delighted that such oppressive days wouldn't last forever, and he even found Prometheus more agreeable.

"What is the second prophecy?"

Just as the gods were rejoicing, Oceanus, the steady god of the ocean who was not blinded by joy, cautiously asked a question.

"This rebellion by Gaia, the Earth Mother, is doomed to failure."

Upon hearing this, the gods, who had been overjoyed, froze in place, staring blankly at Prometheus.

This new prophecy was like a bucket of cold water, completely extinguishing the flame of hope that had just been ignited within them.

The hot-tempered Iapetus blurted out, "How is that possible? If even the great mother goddess Gaia cannot stand against the King of Gods, then who can?"

"If that's the case, are you just trying to deceive us by talking about a completely new era?"

Prometheus smiled helplessly upon hearing this: "Gaia cannot fight Uranus, so—"

"It will be Uranus' eldest son who will ultimately bring an end to Uranus' rule."

Upon hearing this, all the gods turned to look at Oceanus, the god of the ocean, and Oceanus... was completely stunned.

"Me...me?"

Oceanus pointed to himself, his face full of disbelief.
