America 2009: Survival of the Underclass
Chapter 18 The Priest's Capture Plan
Wealthy Los Angeles has no shortage of money for streetlights, especially since this is a poor street right next to the city center. Bright as day is an exaggeration, but it is still well-lit.
The elites in the city center high-rise buildings look down at the "hell" not far below through floor-to-ceiling windows, pointing at the wandering demons and carefully teaching their children: "If you don't work hard, you will become such ugly beings."
And at this moment, among this group of "devils" who are being used as negative examples by the elites.
The four people lined up, their feet pressed against the edge of the sidewalk, walking slowly across the road, their eyes scanning the alleys on both sides.
On both sides of the road, in the gaps between the tents, homeless people gathered around the fire, listening to loud music from the stereo, drinking alcohol, and taking drugs, having a great time.
The subprime crisis further reduced already low welfare levels, making it impossible for them to afford decent goods. But don't underestimate the connection between street drug addicts and drugs, you bastards!
The gang's money-grabbing methods make all the street drug addicts feel at home, as if they're basking in a spring breeze.
Various powders mixed with genuine fentanyl COS, illicitly brewed inferior liquor, fake herbs, industrial super glue... all sorts of junk.
Even if you only have 20 cents, it can knock you unconscious, or even send you directly into the crematorium to become the white powder you loved most in life.
The luckiest ones might even get fentanyl mixed in, benefiting their fellow street drug addicts, thus contributing to the capitalist world in their lifetime.
"The plan has succeeded, sir." Karen's gaze crossed the street and through the glass, looking at the dark church reception hall, and she said confidently.
Li Ang slid his hand off her shoulder, patted her back lightly, and said softly, "Begin the operation, Corporal."
Karen turned to look into his eyes, smiled, and nodded. "Understood, sir."
As soon as she finished speaking, she took off her mask and stuffed it into her pocket. Carrying her canvas bag in her left hand, she crossed the road and walked straight toward the church's single glass door.
"Lazybones, double-check, don't mess things up later." He looked at John, raised the precious thing in his hand, and said seriously.
"No problem, boss." John looked down to check the device in his hand and replied nervously.
Li Ang watched Karen push open the door and step inside from across the street, then waved to the two of them, "Keep your voice down, let's go."
After Karen entered the dark church reception hall, she quickly scanned the room.
Seeing the dim yellow light shining through the crack in the door from the left corner inside, a wicked smile curled at the corner of his mouth, and he slowly walked over, keeping his footsteps quiet.
She pressed her ear against the white wooden door, heard the footsteps inside, her smile deepened, she straightened up, and adopted an expression of adoration.
He raised his hand and knocked three times gently on the white wooden door, which already had a crack in it.
A series of hurried footsteps reached her keen ears, and three seconds later, Cole's solemn voice came: "Please come in."
She turned to look at the three people who had already slipped in, nodded, opened the canvas bag in her hand, pushed open the door and walked into the room, leaving a crack in the door.
Inside the room, Cole sat on a cloth sofa with his back to the door, his fingertips trembling slightly.
With a smile on her face, Karen slowly walked to the carpet in front of him, placed the canvas bag next to her, knelt down, and took his trembling hand.
She looked up at his slightly flushed but deliberately holy face and said gently, "Reverend, I'm sorry, my mother had OD, and I took her to the hospital, which took a while."
He suppressed a barely suppressed smile, nodded slightly, and said in a deep voice, "Child, you must stay away from original sin and draw closer to redemption."
Karen nodded with eyes full of adoration and said earnestly, "I don't want to go back. I want to stay here and serve you, Pastor."
His body trembled, his face flushed even more, his Adam's apple bobbed a few times, and he said sternly, "Child, you are a lovely and sweet little girl, but—"
Colton paused, suppressing the immense power within him, closed his eyes, and continued slowly, "This is a sin of the flesh; I cannot break my vow."
Karen looked at his hypocritical, bitch-like behavior, a quick glint of amusement in her eyes. She stood up, leaned close to his ear, and whispered, "I never said I'd serve you with my body, Cole."
He gritted his teeth, and after a few seconds, he slowly loosened them and said softly, "The other services are also violations of the precepts."
A hint of mockery flashed in Karen's eyes; she no longer wanted to play this game of cat and mouse with him.
She knelt down in front of Cole, placed her hands on his thighs and gently stroked them. When he lifted his eyelids, revealing longing in his eyes, she said with certainty:
"But God wants me to serve you with my body, Pastor."
"He wants you to feel His love for you through me."
She stood up, staring into Cole's eyes, and continued, "This is God's will; you must obey the Lord's arrangement."
"Don't look! Reverend!" She stood up, took out an eye mask from her canvas bag, and continued looking at him, "I don't want you to see me commit sins."
She paused, took a step forward, placed her hands on his chest, looked down at his raised face, revealing a perfectly measured sadness, and whispered, "I don't want you to look down on me either, Reverend."
He pinched his thigh to suppress his urge to lose control, leaned back firmly against the sofa, looked into her eyes which had turned to adoration, and said in a deep voice, "But God has endowed you with such stunning beauty, child."
Karen slightly raised her chin, licked her lips, and leaned closer to his face. Her hand returned to her thigh, the one holding the blindfold, her thumb stroking his face, as she seductively flirted:
"Pastor, but if you don't look, then I can pretend I'm praying."
She slowly and deliberately put the blindfold on Cole, completely blocking his vision. "You can also think of it as just taking a holy bath."
As soon as she finished speaking, she turned her head and nodded to the three eyes arranged vertically behind the crack in the door. Then she lowered her head, forcefully unbuckled his belt, and pulled down the zipper of his trousers—the soft sound of metal scraping together just masked the extremely light footsteps of the three people outside the door.
Leon and John quickly moved to either side of the sofa, holding up their toy, while the camera focused intently on Cole's bulging crotch.
She pulled down her underwear, nodded to Ramon, and then stepped aside to make room for him.
Ramon nodded knowingly, and like a cheetah hunting its prey, he seized the moment when he appeared and charged straight at Cole.
Just a millimeter away from that "critical point"—
"Reverend, I'll begin," Karen said softly with a strange smile.
Cole's expression froze, his body instantly stiffened, his Adam's apple bobbed violently, and he muttered something under his breath.
"No! This is a sin!"
"God forgive me!"
Li Ang, holding the treasure in his palm, and Karen, standing behind Ramon, looked at each other's faces and almost simultaneously raised their hands to cover their mouths tightly.
In about twenty seconds, Cole's legs suddenly straightened, and a suppressed roar burst from his throat.
"God! Sin!"
"Haha! This speed is good enough to compete in the Formula 1 championship."
"Jesus! Ha! You old good-for-nothing."
The two of them finally couldn't hold back and burst into laughter.
With a ruddy complexion, Cole ripped off his blindfold, shook his head from side to side, and subconsciously asked, "What's going on?"
"Hahaha!"
"Jesus! Christ!"
All four of them couldn't help but react when they saw his innocent and bewildered expression.
Li Ang, his stomach pressed against the back of the sofa, held up the palm-sized screen in front of him and joked, "Pastor, what do you think of my photography skills? It shouldn't be too difficult for someone who can communicate with God, right?"
Cole stared intently, his entire body instantly froze, and his expression turned utterly terrified.
"Ke~, what do you think of the Hollywood blockbuster you starred in?" Karen said gently with a smile.
He looked at the flustered Cole, then up at Karen, and teased her in a funny way, "Reverend, how are you going to explain this to the media? Are you going to say you thought it was a young girl giving you a Jumbo hot dog?"
Karen crossed her arms, giving Cole a mocking once-over, and immediately chimed in, adding insult to injury, "Or are you going to get your junkie hot dog eaten by God himself? After all, you're the person closest to the Lord!"
"Oh my god!" Cole, realizing what had happened, turned pale instantly, slumped onto the sofa, stared at the ceiling, and muttered silently.
He watched Karen raise an eyebrow, picked up on the joke, and then, as if struck by a question, stroked his chin and hesitated, saying, "Does God also have demons inside him? Or is it a special way for the Holy Spirit to descend?"
"Hahaha!"
"Jesus! Haha~"
The three of them burst into laughter at his serious-sounding nonsense, the laughter echoing in the cramped room and sounding particularly jarring.
Karen stopped laughing, leaned closer to Cole's pale face, casting a shadow over him, and whispered, "Perhaps, Reverend. After all, you experienced true 'ecstasy' just now."
