Warhammer 40: Saviors Emerging from the Bottom

The door slowly opened, and three shifty-eyed guys tiptoed in.

"Where's the light?"

"Let me look, it should be here."

Slater fumbled along the wall for a while, and finally found the light switch. With a click, dim light filled half the room.

To make the room feel less cramped, Xiao Yi simply broke through the wall, merging the two rooms into one, so one switch can only turn on half of the lights in the room.

"Alright, boss..."

Slater turned his head and saw a hot melt gun pointed directly at his head, which froze him in place.

The appearance of the lights exposed the B-59, which was facing the bedroom door, to the three men. Looking at this fully armed behemoth, the three men dared not move, fearing that the other side would shoot a hole in them.

"Boss, what do we do now?" Philip asked in a trembling voice. He was now regretting that he hadn't stuck to his own ideas and withdrawn from this seemingly hasty action before entering the room.

Faced with his companion's fear, Gavin could only feign composure and reassure him: "Don't move, don't speak, these big metal lumps can lock onto their targets based on sound and movement."

Before seeing the B-59, Gavin didn't even know what a Casterland mech was, let alone how it worked.

The reason I said that was simply to keep Philip in check and prevent this timid fellow from shouting.

The two sides remained deadlocked for several tens of seconds, with the B-59 observing them as they observed the B-59.

He walked past B-59 and came to the chair that Xiao Yi had been sitting in. It was a genuine leather chair that Xiao Yi had made with his special ability, exactly the same as the one in Lancelot's office.

The soft texture made Gavin unable to resist sitting on it.

"It's comfortable, what a waste of this chair."

As he spoke, he pulled out a sophisticated little trap device from his pocket. At the bottom was a small bottle, no bigger than a normal person's fingernail, filled with an alluring pink potion.

After the deal was struck, Lancelot had been thinking about how to deal with Xiao Yi. After the power struggle, he abandoned the plan to send assassins to kill him and instead began to turn the dissatisfied members of Xiao Yi's team against him.

After a selection process, the task ultimately fell to Gavin.

The title of hero earned Xiao Yi the love and respect of many soldiers, but not everyone was grateful for everything he had done.

In order to establish his prestige in front of everyone and better control the entire team, Xiao Yi chose to believe in the wisdom of his ancestors.

He made an example of a few to deter others, and among the guys whose heads he personally chopped off was Gavin's brother.

He himself was also whipped a hundred times for disobeying military discipline.

Driven by both hatred and temptation, Gavin accepted the mission without hesitation, and then he received a sophisticated trap device sponsored by the Griffin family.

Gavin had personally witnessed that terrifying outsider take two shots, yet remained unharmed, still wielding his power sword and fighting on the front lines.

It's virtually impossible to pierce his skin with a needle made of ordinary materials, so the only option is to target the more vulnerable parts of the human body.

After much thought, he realized there was only one option: to inject the drug through the back door.

But where to place the trap became a headache. After observing for several days, Gavin discovered that Xiao Yi liked to sit in a chair and daydream when he had nothing to do, so he finally installed the trap device in the cushion.

As soon as the other person returns and sits on it, the trap device will be activated immediately, injecting the drug into their body through the rectum. Then, before anyone else can react, the other person can be transported out of the camp.

The thought of moving to the upper floor and marrying a noblewoman after the mission was successful made Gavin a little excited, and his desire for advancement pulled him up from the soft leather seat.

Just as he took out his dagger and prepared to start, B-59, who had been silently observing everything, finally made his move.

The thick mechanical arm grabbed Slater's head and crushed it before he could even let out a scream.

Brain matter mixed with blood splattered all over Philip. Watching the fighter pilot suddenly attack and kill, he screamed in terror, and Gavin stopped what he was doing.

When he turned his head and saw the blood-stained B-59 in front of him, he was so frightened that he jumped up.

Gavin casually tossed aside the trap device and dagger in his hand, then drew a large-caliber pistol from his waist and fired a burst at the B-59's breastplate.

The sound of gunpowder exploding echoed continuously in the bedroom. These bullets, powerful enough to tear a human body apart, were deflected by the force field around the Casteran mech and shot towards the corner of the bedroom.

After realizing that his attacks could not damage the metal lump in front of him, Gavin abandoned his teammates and ran towards the bedroom door.

B-59's shoulder-mounted pyrotechnic gun relentlessly tracked Gavin's movements, while his still-bloodied fist slammed into Philip, who stood frozen in fear.

A second scream rang out in the room, followed by the scorching rays fired from the molten metal gun.

Gavin lunged forward, barely escaping the attack at the cost of his hair being singed.

We're almost there!

As long as I can leave this room, I can escape the guy chasing me from behind.

Gavin stretched out his right hand, trying to close the distance between himself and the door, but just before he touched the doorknob, the door suddenly opened.

Xiao Yi stood at the door with an angry expression, opening his mouth as if to say something, but before he could speak, he saw Gavin about to bump into him. Fortunately, he reacted quickly and kicked Gavin away.

"What's going on?" These were the last words Gavin heard before he fell into a coma.

When he woke up again, he was already bound hand and foot. Sitting directly in front of him in a leather chair, Xiao Yi was playing with a small trap device provided by the Griffin family with a gloomy expression. Beside him stood the terrifying robot that had casually killed two of his companions.

"Gavin, the company commander of the 2nd Company, 3rd Battalion, 13th Regiment, was punished for publicly violating military discipline. That's all the information I have about you. So why did you burn down the armory?"

Which was harder for Xiao Yi to accept: being ambushed or the armory being burned down?

Of course, the armory was burned down. The needle didn't prick him, but half of his equipment was definitely destroyed.

Seeing the other party's unyielding expression, Xiao Yi, who was getting angrier the more he thought about it, decided not to ask any more questions. He reached out and touched Gavin's forehead.
