Chapter 96 The Alchemist's Asgardian Encounters (Part 1)

Sherlock was both worried and happy about the arrival of the Ancient One.

The good news is that, thanks to the arrival of the Ancient One, Sherlock finally has a legitimate and irrefutable reason to escape Zhao Weike's grueling training.

The worry is that although he escaped Zhao Weike's grueling training, he will be forced to confront Odin, the man who stole his armor.

"No, I think watching more animal documentaries will help Doro better understand the world."

To be honest, Sherlock had imagined countless scenarios of how the Ancient One would take him to Asgard, from the Rainbow Bridge to the secret equipment of Kamar-Taj. But what he never expected was that the Ancient One would simply wave her hand and open a portal to Asgard.

When the portal opened, Sherlock saw Heimdall, the gatekeeper of the Rainbow Bridge, almost immediately.

Heimdall, however, did not seem particularly surprised when he saw the portal. Instead, he stepped down from the platform and respectfully bowed to the Ancient One.

"The Sorcerer Supreme, welcome to Asgard."

After the Ancient One nodded to Heimdall, he led Sherlock across the portal toward Asgard.

Before the portal closed, Sherlock turned around and waved to Zhao Weike and Anna with a smug look on his face.

"Old Zhao, don't forget the study plan I made for Anna, and tell Helen and Tony that I'll bring them gifts."

As Sherlock finished speaking, the portal closed, leaving Zhao Weike and Anna standing there dumbfounded, watching everything unfold.

As for Zhao Weike, he knew the Ancient One was powerful, and even knew that the Ancient One had a magical portal that could travel all over the world, but this was the first time Zhao Weike knew that the Ancient One could easily travel between stars.

Anna, however, didn't think that much about it. After Sherlock left, she looked at her master with some complicated feelings and asked cautiously.

"Master, those aliens look pretty much like us."

In response to Anna's complaints, Zhao Weike rolled his eyes at her before speaking to her.

"Alright, that's too far ahead for you. Now that Sherlock is gone, and your basics are almost there, are you ready to enter the real killer course?"

"certainly!"

Anna's response was incredibly straightforward, but when she stood at the gate of a high school the next day, her eyes were full of doubt as she looked at Zhao Weike.

"This is the assassin course you were talking about?"

"certainly!"

Zhao Weike answered without the slightest hesitation, continuing to speak confidently to Anna.

"The first step to becoming an assassin, Anna, is to get an A in math, physics, and chemistry."

The results are back!

After saying this, Zhao Weike grabbed Anna's arm without any hesitation and walked into the school, while Anna's mouth twitched incessantly behind, filled with both psychological and physical rejection.

And damn it, nobody told me that I had to study academic subjects while becoming Chichimora?

I can accept studying academic subjects, but why should a girl like me, burdened with a blood feud and with an incredibly complicated background, have to attend an ordinary high school?

Asgard is less like a planet or a realm of gods and more like a colossal spaceship floating in the universe.

This was confirmed when Sherlock followed the Ancient One out of Heimdall's place guarding the Rainbow Bridge.

You can see the magnificent cosmic landscape simply by looking up, but there's also a dazzling artificial sun hanging overhead.

Not only that, but Asgard in the distance, under the illumination of that artificial sun, seemed to be plated with gold, transforming into a true golden city.

Of course, putting aside all these sights, what Sherlock would drool over the most was the Rainbow Bridge beneath his feet.

To Sherlock, this thing was a pure alchemical creation. As an "Asgardian interstellar portal" and "ship's main cannon," it not only transported people and items but also had the power to destroy a planet.

Putting everything else aside, this functionality alone is enough to make Sherlock drool. It's only because he's with the Ancient One that Sherlock still has some sense of reason; otherwise, he probably would have already collapsed and started using the Bifrost to activate the All-Encompassing Analysis.
