Marvel: The Alchemist Just Wants a Peaceful Life.

Chapter 82 Sherlock, who has no martial ethics

In the past, given Zhao Weike's revenge against Viger, this matter should indeed have ended there.

After all, this isn't a movie. Zhao Weike's Helen is still alive and well, and that big-eared, bellowing donkey named Daisy wasn't killed.

Even if it were just Zhao Weike's revenge, then Zhao Weike's actions to this extent are already excessive.

Unfortunately, when faced with Vig's suggestion, Zhao Weike didn't say anything this time, but only looked at Sherlock who was standing next to him.

Clearly, at this point, the decision-maker is no longer Zhao Weike; he will simply stand firmly by Sherlock's side. The decision-maker is Sherlock himself.

Seeing Zhao Weike's state, Vig had no choice but to turn his attention to Sherlock.

"Sir, whatever my good-for-nothing son may have done to offend you, as his father I am willing to compensate and apologize. Consider everything here my offering."

Vig believed his apology was quite grand. Although his subordinates' report stated that the two men had set fire to the basement where the money was laundering, even if all the cash was burned, the value of the gold and coins left behind was definitely not insignificant.

But when faced with Vig's demand for compensation, Sherlock's mocking smile never faded. He just looked at Vig standing in front of him with a half-smile.

"How did you come to the conclusion that I would care about your so-called 'money'?"

As Sherlock spoke, he opened his arms, and red lightning crackled in his hands. One by one, gold coins belonging to the Continental Hotel appeared out of thin air before Vig’s incredulous gaze, and then fell to the ground like rain.

Vig knew that there were extraordinary people in this world, but over the years, he had never met one. This was the first time he had come into contact with such an extraordinary person, which raised Vig's vigilance towards Sherlock to almost the highest level.

After demonstrating to Vig for a while that he was truly "not short of money," Sherlock pulled out the carbonized photo album that he had been carrying in his four-dimensional pocket the whole time and continued speaking to Vig.

"You know what? Ugh... Vig Tarasov? Never mind, it doesn't matter! I'm an alchemist, a real, legitimate alchemist who can create gold at will!"

It's no exaggeration to say that I can create almost anything in this world, however much I want! I can even manufacture things that don't exist!

But there's one thing I just can't do anything about! There's only one thing I can't do anything about!

As Sherlock spoke, he carefully took out a photograph that had been half burned from the bag. In the photograph, one could still vaguely see Doro, who had just been born, looking bewildered, and two figures frantically trying to take care of the newborn life.

Just looking at the incomplete photos, Sherlock could recall how clumsy he and Zhao Weike were taking care of the newborn Doro, while Helen laughed until tears streamed down her face as she took the pictures.

A burst of crimson lightning erupted from Sherlock's hand, which was carefully holding the photograph, and the photograph, which had been half burned, was restored to its original state almost instantly.

Although the photo was restored, the pattern on it still looked damaged, and even more blurred.

Seeing the photo restored in the blink of an eye, Sherlock ignored Vig's astonishment and continued speaking to him.

"See that? Alchemy is almost omnipotent, but it's completely useless against those memories! And your son, Vig, your stupid son named Yosef, just barged into someone else's house like that."

Using the most despicable excuse of "revenge," they wantonly destroyed someone else's most cherished memories, and even stole one of my friend's most treasured possessions in the end.

"Do you really think I can keep it alive?"

Sherlock spoke with such nonchalance, but to Vig, it sounded like a fairy tale.

Zhao Weike and the young man in front of him, who had almost mastered "endless wealth," were furiously seeking revenge against him, even launching a "war" that could affect the High Table.

Just because her son burned a few photos!

Just because of a few damn photos?

Vig really wanted to ask Sherlock: was it really worth fighting to the death over just a few photos?

Ke Weige dared not, he really dared not!

Although he is a gangster and seems to wield a voice that ordinary people could never hope to attain, he is essentially no different from an ant in front of a superhuman like Sherlock.

If Sherlock so desired, his "endless wealth" alone would be enough to make Vig, or rather the entire Tarasov family, vanish without a trace.

And the young man in front of us didn't even have to lift a finger!

Now this young man has not only made a move, but he's even standing right in front of him, which is enough to show the anger in the young man's heart.

Even so, in Vig's heart, his only son still outweighed everything else, making Vig fantasize about what conditions would make this young man let his son go.

But Sherlock's next words plunged Vig into despair.

"Two choices! Tell me where your son is! Or I'll kill you first, and then go find your damned son!"

Clearly, Sherlock had no intention of letting Joseph go.

This left Vig feeling both angry and deeply powerless, but faced with his own life, Vig ultimately had no choice but to compromise.

"Big Mao, the Roma gang, the mother of the church is self-protected."

As soon as Vig finished speaking, he felt a chill on his neck and then saw that his back was soaked with cold sweat.

The last thing Vig saw was a long spear that looked like it was inlaid with the sun, radiating a blinding light.

"It's so beautiful!"

This was the last thought in Vig's mind, and he didn't even know how he died until the very end.

Indeed, facing Vig and his many confidants, Sherlock used his modified Spear of Longinus to unleash a destructive ray, sending them all to meet their Jesus.

Although the process was a little cruel, Sherlock felt no remorse. After all, whether it was Vig or his confidants, if you really thought about it, even being shot for a minute would be considered a slip-up.

Sherlock wouldn't feel any psychological burden at all, especially since he's currently in the midst of a war.
