Chapter 66 Meow Meow Hammer: I'm Not Clean Anymore
After a chaotic scene, Doro finally gave up on his newly acquired toy, the Meow Hammer.
Of course, it was only after Sherlock promised to forge a new hammer that better suited Doro's personality that Doro gave up his Meowth Hammer.
As Doro put down his Mjolnir, the Thor armor with the cloak on his body vanished without a trace, allowing Sherlock, Coulson, and Hawkeye to breathe a sigh of relief.
However, an awkward silence followed. The three stared at each other for a long time, none of them knowing what to say. Finally, Sherlock spoke up, allowing Coulson and Hawkeye to leave.
"Um, I need to continue analyzing this hammer. If there's nothing else, you should leave."
"doro..."
Coulson wanted to say something more, but he was abruptly interrupted by Sherlock after only uttering Doro's name.
"Doro will stay here to help me adjust the angle with the hammer; he's my assistant, so he doesn't need to leave. Don't worry, this won't happen again."
Sherlock would never allow Doro to wander around this camp, which is a mix of Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. forces, especially since Doro can still wield Mjolnir.
Upon hearing Sherlock's words, Coulson opened his mouth but said nothing more. He could only sigh helplessly, give Hawkeye a look, and then turn and leave.
After receiving Coulson's look, Hawkeye shrugged helplessly, returned the scene to Sherlock and Doro, and turned back to his observation room.
Sherlock rubbed his temples, looking a bit annoyed. Seeing Doro's somewhat aggrieved expression, Sherlock reached out and rubbed Doro's head.
"It's alright, Doro, this has nothing to do with you."
Hearing Sherlock's words, Doro cheered up, and a smile returned to his little face. However, compared to before, Doro was undoubtedly much more well-behaved, sitting next to Sherlock and quietly taking out an orange from the little pocket on his stomach to eat.
When Sherlock was modifying his Raptor pickup truck, he casually made a mini version of a four-dimensional pocket and stuck it on Doro's belly. Unlike Sherlock's own four-dimensional pocket, which was filled with various gadgets, Doro's little pocket was stuffed with food.
Watching Doro silently eating oranges, Sherlock smiled helplessly before resuming his analysis of the Meow Hammer in front of him.
Fortunately, aside from the limited-edition Thor skin that Doro accidentally unlocked at the beginning, the analysis that started again went without any surprises.
For a whole week, Sherlock and Doro lived an extremely regular life, analyzing the Meowth Hammer during the day and eating and resting at night.
Doro really did become Sherlock's little assistant. Whenever the angle of the Meowth Hammer was wrong and Sherlock couldn't see or analyze the runes, he would ask Doro to adjust the angle of the Meowth Hammer.
As the week passed, Sherlock had almost finished analyzing the Meow Hammer.
Meow Meow Hammer is powerful, that much is undeniable, but that doesn't mean it's without flaws. In Sherlock's opinion, while Meow Meow Hammer has its own ideas, it's too simplistic.
To use a somewhat inappropriate adjective, the intelligence of the Meow Hammer is essentially not much different from that of the artificial intelligence in modern smartphones; it can only react after the user issues a command.
The rope-thick bolt of lightning that Meow Meow Hammer unleashed when it repelled Sherlock was already the limit Meow Meow Hammer could create without a user.
It's wishful thinking to expect something like Doctor Strange's cloak or Sherlock's Spear of Longinus to automatically protect its owner.
Of course, aside from this minor drawback, the Meowth Hammer itself is powerful enough. Not to mention the awesome materials used to forge it, the complex alchemical arrays and runes inside the hammer, which are as intricate as a computer system, have greatly benefited Sherlock.
Throughout the week's analysis, Sherlock's most frequent exclamations were, "Holy crap, this works too?" and "Holy crap, so that's how it is!"
Of course, given Sherlock's temperament, he wouldn't let Meow Hammer off so easily after the analysis was complete. After all, Sherlock still remembered the initial grudge when Meow Hammer rejected and even attacked him.
After analyzing the Meow-Meow Hammer, the extremely petty Sherlock casually modified its appearance, causing the entire hammer to tremble continuously after the modification.
She looked exactly like a woman who had been violated, hiding to the side and lamenting her uncleanliness.
Coulson couldn't say much about Sherlock's behavior and could only tacitly approve of it, given Sherlock's perverse sense of humor.
Sherlock didn't forget his promise to Doro, and actually used the materials he got from Tony to make a mini version of the Mjolnir for Doro.
Although it can't compare to the original Meowth Hammer in terms of material, capabilities, or even hardness, it's sufficient as a Doro toy, since this smaller version has all the functions that the original Meowth Hammer should have.
Doro also really likes this new toy he acquired, and he holds it in his hands almost every day, tapping it here and there.
Sherlock's original plan was to go back and modify his Spear of Longinus after analyzing the Meowth Hammer, but some events that happened that night made him change his mind.
That's right, the real Thor broke into the camp under the cover of rain.
Thanks to Coulson's permission, Thor arrived in front of the modified Meowth Hammer in a daze.
However, when Thor looked at the Mjolnir in front of him, he was completely dumbfounded.
What should have been a square-shaped hammer has now been transformed into a uniquely designed bird head shape, and even its original metallic color has been forcibly changed to pink by Sherlock.
Not only that, but two very cute little wings have been added to the hammer head, making it look adorable and completely lacking the domineering aura of the original Meow Hammer.
(That's about it)
If Thor hadn't spent so much time with Mjolnir and been able to accurately sense its presence, he would have doubted whether he had gone to the wrong place or whether his father had thrown the wrong hammer.
To be honest, after seeing the current Meowth Hammer for so long, Thor has inexplicably developed a liking for this bird-head-shaped version.
Thor reached out and gently grasped the handle of the transformed Mjolnir. He wanted to pick up this new Mjolnir that belonged to him, but because of Odin's command, no matter how hard Thor tried, he could not lift the current Mjolnir.
In the end, he had no choice but to be taken to the isolation room by Coulson's men, who were watching everything from the observation room.
On the contrary, Sherlock stood in the isolation room watching this farce from beginning to end, his smile never fading. From Sherlock's perspective, while Thor was desperately trying to pick up the hammer, there was a handsome guy in a dark green suit standing next to Thor, looking at Thor with an expression of existential doubt as he tried to pull out the hammer.
And coincidentally, this handsome Sherlock knew him.
Loki!
