Chapter Ninety-Five: A Visit Early in the Morning

It was early morning again, and Mo Bai, who had been sitting cross-legged, finished his practice and opened his eyes.

After several days of recuperation, his complexion has noticeably improved compared to when he first arrived in Mingzhu.

Mo Bai turned to look outside the door and saw that Manager Chen had also gotten up early and was standing a little distance away outside the door, looking up and directing the people who were cleaning.

He put down the medicine bowl, stood up, and walked towards the door. He approached Manager Chen, cupped his hands in greeting, and said, "Brother Chen!"

"Brother Bai, you're setting up your stall so early today?" Shopkeeper Chen said with a smile, wiping the sweat from his brow when he saw it was Mo Bai.

"No, I made an appointment with Dr. Zhu across the street today. Isn't Dr. Zhu a very busy person? So, I thought I'd go over and say hello as soon as possible." Mo Bai waved his hand slightly and said with a smile.

Manager Chen knew that Mo Bai wanted to see Doctor Zhu, but upon hearing this, he couldn't help but feel strange, and couldn't help but think of Master Chu again.

Just then, steady footsteps approached, accompanied by an aged voice: "Oh, Mr. Changqing has arrived?"

Mo Bai turned his head and saw that it was Doctor Chen, carrying his medical kit and walking slowly towards him, his eyes looking at him.

He quickly stood up, cupped his hands in greeting, and said with a smile, "Dr. Chen!"

Doctor Chen stepped forward, his gaze sweeping over Mo Bai's face. Seeing that Mo Bai's complexion had improved somewhat, he paused in surprise: "Mr. Changqing, have you come to see Doctor Zhu today?"
