Transcending Worlds: I Have an Invincible Shelter

Su Yuyang quickly finished the remaining braised pork rice in his bowl, casually wiped the oil from the corner of his mouth with his sleeve, and tossed the empty lunchbox aside.

He leaned against a wall that had mostly collapsed, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily. A gray-yellow haze enveloped the area, making the distant ruins and buildings appear even more grotesque.

Occasionally, the roars of strange beasts would come from the depths of the fog and haze, mixed with the crisp sound of bones grinding together, which was particularly eerie.

Shen Changge, standing to the side, was eating beef rice in small bites, chewing each bite with great care. The bottled water was placed carefully at her feet, as if it were extremely precious.

Glancing at Su Yuyang out of the corner of her eye, Shen Changge's curiosity intensified. This young man was well-dressed, well-equipped, and exceptionally skilled.

Just over ten seconds later, more than a dozen figures rushed out of the gray-yellow smog to the east in a disheveled state.

Most of them were dressed in rags, covered in wounds, and many were being supported by their companions, their faces as pale as paper.

More than a dozen people ran while constantly looking back at the smog behind them, their eyes filled with fear, as if a raging flood or ferocious beast was chasing them.

When Song Ruhai saw Shen Changge's strange posture of lying sprawled out on the invisible light screen, his face instantly showed astonishment, but he did not stop running.

The other dozen or so people stopped their charge, their eyes all falling on Shen Changge, and then shifting to Su Yuyang, who was three meters away from him, their eyes full of doubt and wariness.

They really couldn't understand why Shen Changge was lying in mid-air in such a strange posture, as if he were lying on a transparent wall of light.
