Although King Longshui was fierce and stubborn, he was not entirely without knowledge. He recognized that the one who had been killed was the infamous Wu Huan Tai Sui, an old demon whose cultivation far surpassed his own.

The figure wielding the halberd, shining like the sun and chilling like winter, was none other than the Jingfa Zhenjun, who was ordered to patrol and punish on behalf of Heaven.

In an instant, King Takisui's three souls flew away in fright, and his seven spirits scattered. He felt a chill rush from his tailbone straight to the top of his head.

He committed numerous evil deeds throughout his life, consuming countless offerings of blood and flesh, and was aware of the depth of his karmic burdens.

Having witnessed firsthand the ruthless methods of the Heavenly Court True Lord, who slaughtered Heavenly Immortals and Demon Kings as easily as slaughtering pigs and dogs, how could one not be afraid?

If I stay in Xiniu Hezhou and wait for the True Lord to arrive, will I have any chance of survival?

Without further hesitation, he disregarded even the foundation of his Water Mansion and the wealth he had accumulated over the years, and fled eastward in a desperate gust of wind.

After traversing continents and seas and enduring hardships, he finally arrived at this Eastern Continent of Divine Victory, found this Longshui River, and, relying on his cultivation, forcibly occupied the water palace, detained the river god, and resumed his tyrannical rule.

Later, he learned through various channels that several demon kings he had known in the old Western Niuhe Continent, regardless of their level of cultivation, had committed numerous misdeeds and evil deeds.

King Takisui was startled, his drunkenness mostly dissipated, he frowned and put down the wine jar, his fierce eyes looking left and right with suspicion and uncertainty.

What caused this change? Could it be an anomaly in the earth's veins?

Before he could think further, a patrolling shrimp soldier scrambled into the hall and frantically reported:

"Your Majesty! Something terrible has happened!"

The terrifying scene of a single halberd slaying Wu Huan Tai Sui outside Wujin Mountain flashed into my mind.

Even though this halberd shone with a deep blue light and was surrounded by water, it was completely different from the dazzling heavenly thunder.

However, the shape of that halberd was enough to trigger the fear in his heart.

For this reason, he instinctively feared Xuan Ling, the Flood Dragon Demon King, whom he had never met but who was also famous for his halberd.

Overwhelmed with shock and rage, King Takisui didn't have time to think. He roared and his demonic aura exploded. He grabbed the large sword beside him and slashed forward fiercely.

Armor completely shattered A deep, scorched halberd mark, revealing bone, was hissing and emitting blue smoke on his dark, bruised chest.

In his hand, all that remained was a bare hilt of the knife.

King Takisui looked up in shock, his fish eyes wide, staring at the dust-filled palace gate.

As the water calmed and the smoke dissipated, a figure in black robes stepped through the broken palace gate.

Xuan Ling walked into the hall and casually made a gesture.

The blue halberd, deeply embedded in the stone wall, emitted a clear and melodious sound, flew back on its own, and landed steadily in my palm.

The halberd was dark, with a faint blue light flowing through it, still carrying the chilling aftertaste of the previous strike.

"Xuan Ling?"

King Takisui stared intently at the newcomer, feeling the immense, unfathomable aura emanating from him, filled with astonishment and uncertainty.
