After Shui Lingxi emerged from seclusion, the four of them immediately went to the teleportation array leading to the fourth level.

The light from the teleportation dissipated, and Jiang Shi opened his eyes.

The surroundings were a deep blue.

It wasn't the blue of the sky, but the blue of the water. They stood in a huge crystal palace, with endless seawater above them, but a transparent barrier kept the water out, like an upside-down glass bowl.

The palace pillars were so thick that it would take three people to encircle them. The pillars were carved with water ripples and fish scales, and luminous pearls were embedded in the patterns, emitting a faint, cold light.

"Is this the Realm of Water Flow?" Huo Lie rubbed his arms, his voice somewhat muffled.

Jiang Shi glanced at him.

The crimson true essence on Huo Lie's body dimmed considerably, like a piece of red-hot iron thrown into ice water, with only a few wisps of green smoke still rising from it.

His complexion wasn't good either; his lips were somewhat pale.

"I can barely sense any fire elemental energy here." Huo Lie frowned and tried to circulate his cultivation technique, but only a few sparks appeared in his palm and went out with two popping sounds. "Damn it."

Shui Lingxi stood at the palace entrance, looking up at the sea above the dome, a long-lost expression of comfort on her face.

The little blue animal on her shoulder also poked its head out from her arms, looking around energetically.

The little animal nuzzled her hand, jumped off her shoulder, and landed on the ground.

It didn't grow bigger, remaining in its furry little animal form, but its eyes lit up.

His eyes turned deep blue, and something was swirling in his pupils, like a whirlpool in water.

"It can sense the life force in the water." Shui Lingxi squatted down and stroked the little beast's back. "Within a radius of three hundred feet, no living thing can escape its perception. The runes on the wall lit up.

These formations protect the palace and can withstand attacks from Nascent Soul stage cultivators.

Just as Jiang Shi was examining the formation, Huo Lie, who was standing to the side, started cursing.

Huo Lie's face turned completely black.
