Chapter 96 Magneto's Fear.

Upon hearing these words of declaration of war, Tony instantly realized the seriousness of the situation.

Tony, his face grim, ordered, "Jarvis, prepare my armor."

Jarvis cautioned, "Sir, your new arc reactor has not yet been tested."

"This is the test!" Tony soared into the sky after donning his armor.

Meanwhile, Mark controlled his phantom clone to arrive at the expo.

Justin Hammer showcased four types of steel soldiers today: Air Force Steel Soldier Class 1, Navy Steel Soldier Class 2, Army Steel Soldier Class 3, and Marine Corps Steel Soldier Class 4.

Upon arriving at the venue and witnessing this scene, Mark couldn't help but think to himself, "No matter what world you're in, the Marines are always the most miserable."

Just as the atmosphere was about to reach its climax, Iron Man's arrival pushed it to its peak.

"So it's finally time to make a move." Mark sighed inwardly, then muttered to himself, "Looks like I'll have to cosplay a superhero again this time. Luckily, I made two preparations."

Let's go back to one day ago.

Magneto and Professor X rescued many new mutants from the Essex Corporation. Unlike naturally born mutants, the mutants from the Essex Corporation were all clones.

Neither Professor X nor Magneto discriminated against these new compatriots. After Professor X checked that the children had no genetic defects, he officially brought them back to the Institute.

The school currently has only three teachers, two of whom are the principal and vice-principal on a part-time basis. The only teacher is Logan, the Wolverine.

But Logan also had to work part-time as a security guard, and Professor X realized that the school was short of teachers, and very short of them.

But he really didn't have many men under his command. Beast and Colossus died in the "antidote" incident, Cyclops died in the "Dark Phoenix" rampage incident, and X...

Of the X-Men's teachers, the only one still alive is Storm, who went to Africa.

Storm Woman left America because she wanted to return to Africa to find peace of mind.

"Perhaps I should go and call her back," Professor X thought.

Just then, Mark controlled his phantom clone to step out of the mirror world.

Professor X's pupils contracted when he saw Mark suddenly appear, but he quickly concealed his nervousness.

Having regained his composure, Professor X asked, "Mr. Mark, what brings you here so suddenly?"

Mark explained, "I'm here to see Magneto."

"What do you want?" The young Magneto pushed open the door and entered. It turned out that Professor X had secretly contacted him when Mark emerged from the mirror.

Upon seeing Magneto, Mark said solemnly, "Magneto, the Illuminati needs your power now."

Magneto had long known this day would come, and given that the Shadow Touch had indeed provided a lot of help to mutants, he didn't have much of a grudge.

"What mission?" Magneto asked.

Mark explained, "Tomorrow night you'll be at Stark's Expo, and then you'll have to control or destroy a bunch of robots that might self-destruct."

Professor X, standing nearby, cautiously asked, "Who is the enemy we are dealing with?"

Mark: "Hammer Industries, and possibly another minor villain from Russia as well."

"No problem, leave this to me." Magneto agreed immediately.

"Is this my mandatory mission for this year?" Magneto asked.

Mark nodded: "Of course it counts. If the Illuminati gives you another mission within a year, you can refuse unconditionally."

Magneto continued, "So, when I get there, whose orders should I follow?"

Mark continued, "Of course it's mine. I'll be working with you then."

"Then I have no objection."

"See you tomorrow then." Mark said, then turned and disappeared into the mirror.

After confirming that Mark had left, Professor X said helplessly, "Eric, you shouldn't have agreed so quickly."

Magneto shook his head and explained, "No, you should be glad I agreed so quickly."

Professor X looked at him with a puzzled expression.

"This mission isn't difficult, and it only involves offending one company. If I refuse such an easy mission, what if the next mission is even more difficult? What if the next mission is to put me at odds with the government?" Magneto countered.

Although he didn't care, there was absolutely nothing wrong with picking on the weak.

Professor X, upon hearing this, agreed with Magneto's assessment and sighed, "I was planning to go to Africa tomorrow, but it seems I'll have to wait a few more days."

"That's alright, it'll only take a day or two," Magneto said confidently.

The timeline returns to the expo venue.

After confirming that Ivan Vanko would take direct action, Mark quietly approached Magneto.

Mark, who suddenly appeared next to Magneto, teased, "How about it? Were you shocked?"

Upon hearing this sudden sound, Magneto calmly remarked, "Human technology is advancing too fast."

Mark asked, "Can you control those robots?"

"Of course." Magneto nodded with absolute confidence.

Although the robots on the stage were all made of alloy, they had not been demagnetized, which is why they could easily control all the machines on the control panel.

"Take control of all these machines now. Don't let them fire or move," Mark ordered.

Magneto nodded, and an invisible magnetic field instantly enveloped the entire venue, stopping the steel soldiers who were preparing to attack in their tracks.

On the other side, Ivan Vanko was typing incredulously on his keyboard.

"Damn it! Move! Why aren't you moving?!" Ivan Vanko roared in despair.

I've already taken control of the Iron Soldiers' system and even started their program, so why aren't the Iron Soldiers moving?

Most importantly, he did not receive any feedback about system crashes, but he was certain that there was an invisible force suppressing these steel soldiers, making them stand still as punishment.

Setting aside technological means, Ivan Vanko immediately thought of superpowers.

"That damn bastard, did he hire outside help?" Ivan Vanko stared at Iron Man on the screen with a grim expression.

"In that case, let me personally carry out the revenge." Ivan Vanko stood up, put on his Iron Man suit, and then contacted Tony.

"Tony Stark, although I don't know where you hired these superhumans to control these Iron Soldiers, don't get too cocky. I'm going to take your life today!" Ivan Vanko said before hanging up the phone, not giving Iron Man a chance to rant.

He was originally prepared to fly away from the venue and lure the steel soldiers away when he saw their attack intentions, but for some reason, the steel soldiers were actually forced to stay there.

"It seems someone is helping us in secret," Tony said to Jarvis.

"Sir, we've found it." Jarvis quickly uncovered the truth.

In the corner, Magneto was staring disdainfully at him in the hall.

"Who is this guy?" Tony asked, puzzled.

"Based on the photo comparison, this person should be Magneto, but the age doesn't match." Jarvis pulled up two comparison photos.

"Magneto has become younger?" Tony was somewhat surprised, but he also knew that now was not the time to be shocked by someone's youth.

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Eric, although I'm not sure if you are Eric," Tony said through the speaker.

Magneto snorted coldly and completely ignored the other party.

Although the steel armor looked impressive, in his eyes, it was no different from scrap metal.

After all, this is a hard counter.

Knowing that Ivan Vanko was coming to cause him trouble, Tony didn't dare to stay in the venue for long and immediately controlled his armor to fly out.

Tony had just flown off when Ivan Vanko, controlling his armor, slammed him into the air, sending him crashing into a nearby park.

"Why aren't these people leaving? Do they want to wait to die?" Mark muttered speechlessly.

Mark said helplessly, "Release one or two Iron Soldiers, and scare these idiots away."

Eric nodded and then released the two Marine Corps steel soldiers.

Without Magneto's suppression, the two steel soldiers instantly went out of control and flew into the sky.

Ivan Vanko designed these Iron Soldiers to attack Iron Man and anyone who dared to resist; the people in the venue were clearly not among their targets.

Some intelligent people, upon witnessing this scene, realized something was amiss and quickly left the venue.

Justin Hammer realized he might have been tricked, so he quickly ended the meeting and hurried backstage.

"What's going on?" Justin Hammer angrily questioned the two programmers in the back office.

Knowing he couldn't take the blame, the programmer quickly reported to his supervisor: "Boss, we've been tricked. The authorization system has long been infected with malware, and someone else is now controlling these steel soldiers."

Enraged, Justin Hammer slammed his fist on the table. "Damn it! That bastard Ivan Vanko!"

An enraged Justin Hammer picked up his phone and contacted the two security guards watching over Ivan Vanko.

Hearing no answer on the phone, Justin Hammer hung up with a grim expression.

If nothing unexpected happens, the two security guards who stayed there to prevent any accidents should be gone.

Just as Justin Hammer was getting anxious, his phone suddenly rang.

Looking at the caller ID, Justin Hammer suppressed his anger and answered the phone: "My dear daughter, what do you need Daddy for?"

Is there something wrong?

"Dad, I heard you're in big trouble?" Justine Hammer looked at the black rose mark on the back of her hand with interest and teased her with a smug look.

"How did you know?" Justin Hammer asked, somewhat surprised. After all, her daughter was still pursuing her doctorate at school. How could she know about this? Surely things here couldn't have made the news so quickly, could they?

Justine Hammer explained, "Of course, someone told me, to be precise, two days ago."

"They found out two days ago?" Justin Hammer was startled; he sensed a conspiracy.

Justin Hammer quickly asked, "Do you know who it is?"

"An organization called Black Rose is demanding that I join and serve Black Rose. If I refuse, Dad, you'll go to jail, and the Hammer Corporation will go bankrupt."

Justin Hammer asked incredulously, "So you said yes?"

“Of course,” Justine Hammer said matter-of-factly.

Justin Hammer asked, frustrated, "Aren't you going to check?"

Justin Hammer countered, "So, tell me, is it true or not?"

Justin Hammer, who had been rebuked, fell silent. He finally understood why the steel soldiers controlled by that bastard Ivan Vanko hadn't gone berserk; it turned out someone was secretly pulling the strings.

Thinking of this, Justin Hammer gave a bitter smile: "It's true."

Justine Hammer also said with relief, "It seems that my joining this organization was not in vain."

"Can you handle the company's affairs?" Justine Hammer asked.

"I don't know. If we can get Ivan Vanko's technology, we will definitely be able to overcome this difficulty, and the company may even be able to reach a higher level."

Justine Hammer asked, "What if you don't get it?"

Justin Hammer: "That company will definitely be badly damaged, but at least your father won't have to go to jail."

Justine Hammer breathed a sigh of relief after hearing her father's words.

"Don't get involved in Ivan Vanko's matter. You should focus on dealing with this problem as soon as possible. I'll go ask the leader again." Justine Hammer hung up the phone after saying that.

The reason she made the call at this time was at the request of Black Rose. Now that she had confirmed that Black Rose had not lied to her, the next step was to negotiate.

Meanwhile, rivals Ivan Vanko and Tony Stark are having a real-life 1v1.

Ivan Vanko, who possessed melee weapons, had a significant advantage and dominated Tony throughout the entire fight.

Mark and Magneto sat on a nearby artificial hill, watching the battle with great interest.

"Old Wan, how did you feel about the battle?" Mark asked curiously.

Magneto also abandoned his previous contempt and said solemnly, "If it weren't for my ability to counter these two lumps of steel, ordinary level three mutants would only be slaughtered if they encountered them."

The young Magneto was also shocked by the terror of human technology. If such Iron Man armor were widely equipped by human armies, it would be a nightmare for mutants.

Because humans can easily suppress mutants and then freely experiment on and harm them.

A murderous intent flashed through Magneto's mind. This technology was terrifying. He wanted to kill the two Iron Men below.

Mark, standing nearby, immediately saw through Magneto's thoughts. He knew that Magneto was afraid—afraid of the technology represented by those two Iron Man suits.

"Don't worry, it's impossible for him to popularize it in the military," Mark reassured him.

Magneto remained silent, only looking at Mark with a suspicious gaze, as if asking, "Why?"

Mark, with a touch of youthful arrogance on his face, said, "Because this technology is so good, it definitely has to be used on my Zhan Shi! What right do those American soldiers have?"
