Marvel: Starting with the forced creation of villainous characters

Chapter 49: Those Who Are Waiting and Those Who Can't Wait.

Tony Stark is waiting for his chance to make a move, and so is Obadiah.

Even Sharon Carter, who was observing from the shadows, was waiting for her chance to make a move.

The Carter family owns shares in Stark Industries, but it's not hers personally, and it's only two percent. So she has to ensure that Tony Stark is the ultimate winner.

Hydra is also waiting.

When Obadiah couldn't withstand the pressure and voluntarily joined Hydra, as the president of America's largest arms company, Obadiah was qualified to join Hydra with his own investment.

Mark is waiting too.

Wait until Obadiah goes offline, then you can take over the shares left behind by him.

It's important to know that in the future, Stark Industries will be the world's largest energy company.

His goal has always been clear: to control Stark Industries, the company that will one day control the world's energy lifeline.

But some people can't wait.

10 PM.

Mark heard Sharon Carter's anxious voice through his headset: "Mark, something's happened to me, Mindy's injured."

Upon hearing this, Mark, who was about to go to sleep, instantly perked up.

Mark quickly asked, "Where are you now?"

"We have the tracking devices Sky gave us, and those guys are still chasing us, but Mindy is injured, so we're hiding in an abandoned factory now," Jessica Jones explained.

"Wait for me."

After Mark finished speaking, you hurriedly woke up the water sprite and Skye, who was preparing to stay up all night.

Mark calmly said, "Jessica and the others are in trouble. Skye needs to know their location."

Skye nodded: "They have the locators I gave them. Wait a moment."

Skye started working on the computer, and half a minute later, she said, "They're deep in Hell's Kitchen right now, and close to the port."

"You ride in your car, you lead the way," Mark urged.

Skye nodded, and the three of them got into the car and headed straight for Jessica and the others.

"With Jessica's abilities, she shouldn't be able to get hurt, right?" Skye, who was driving, said worriedly.

Mark explained in a low voice, "Mindy is injured; they must have encountered a formidable enemy."

"I don't think I've ever heard of any superpowered individuals in Hell's Kitchen," Skye said, somewhat puzzled. Because of Mark and the others, she had done a lot of research on Hell's Kitchen, so she knew everything about it.

Mark said, "Yes, for example, the Hand."

"The Hand?" Skye clearly didn't know much about this dark organization from the island nation.

"The leaders of the Hand possess two systems for cultivating extraordinary powers. One of them utilizes Qi, but that system has a lineage and cannot be replicated on Tran."

"Another method is to utilize dimensional power, but that power is extremely uncontrollable, and external dimensional power is monitored, so its utilization efficiency is not high."

"If it's the Hand's finger that's involved, then Jessica and the others are indeed in danger."

The Water Sprite knows the Hand very well, which means it has obviously had contact with them.

Mark seemed thoughtful. He wasn't surprised that the water sprite knew about the Hand; people naturally see more as they live longer.

Mark said, "It shouldn't be the Hand."

He had identified Jessica and her group's targets. Those gangs had no connection with the Hand. The Hand was a dark organization, not a charity, and they wouldn't target Jessica and her group for no reason.

With the help of the water sprite illusion, Skye's RV seemed to become invisible, and she arrived at the abandoned factory without any obstacles.

After the water spirit dispelled the illusion, Mark said through the communicator, "We've arrived."

"Bang!"

Jessica descended from the sky carrying Mindy, calling out anxiously, "Mark!"

Mark felt a pang of heartache when he saw Jessica looking somewhat disheveled and Mindy with bloodstains on her left shoulder.

"How is Mindy doing?" Mark asked with concern.

Jessica, deeply distressed, said, "She has a nail piercing her left shoulder. The wound has been treated, but I didn't do it professionally enough. It would be best to take her to the hospital."

Mark nodded quickly: "Let's go then."

"Hehehe... You're probably not going anywhere." A strange and grating laugh came from afar.

A strange man wearing a blue bodysuit and a mask with a white bullseye on his forehead staggered out of the shadows.

Upon seeing this iconic image, Mark immediately recognized the person.

"Bullseye? Kingpin!" Mark spat out the two names through gritted teeth.

He was extremely annoyed, and the reason was simple: he hadn't even gone looking for trouble with Kingpin yet, and this guy actually dared to come knocking on his door.

Mark said to the water sprite beside him, "Water sprite, please."

The water sprite snapped her fingers casually and smiled confidently: "You guys take Mindy to the hospital first."

Knowing the water sprite's power, Mark nodded, then had Jessica carry Mindy into the car.

Bullseye and his henchmen, standing opposite him, acted as if they hadn't seen Mark and his group, and simply let them drive away.

As soon as Mark and his men drove away, Bullseye ordered his men to launch an attack.

Strangely, their attack was directed at the open space opposite the water sprite.

As the fighting progressed, Bullseye and his companions even began killing each other.

The water sprite sat leisurely on the wall, watching these people kill each other. As the gunfire stopped, only Bullseye remained in front of the water sprite.

"Hehehe, it seems I won in the end." Bullseye chuckled smugly.

Seeing this, the water sprite shook its head helplessly, then fired an energy ray at Bullseye.

Bullseye, who was immersed in joy, suddenly changed his expression and almost instinctively rolled forward, the energy ray barely grazing his scalp.

The water sprite never imagined that Bullseye's perception of danger had become an instinct.

"And who are you?" Bullseye shouted at the open space in front of him as he quickly got up from the ground.

From Bullseye's perspective, a mysterious man dressed similarly to him was standing in front of him, holding a special weapon in his hand. The energy ray was fired from that weapon.

The water sprite also got interested and began to continuously fire energy rays at Bullseye, who could only dodge them in a sorry state by relying on his super strong sense of danger.

"Unparalleled speed, immunity to his own attacks, plus this terrifying weapon, just who is this guy?" Bullseye felt fear for the first time.

Bullseye discovered that his attacks had no effect on his opponent, but the opponent's attacks were fatal to him.

The enemy can make countless mistakes, even without consequence, but if he makes just one mistake, he'll be stuck here.

Realizing the vast disparity in strength between the two sides, Bullseye was already considering retreating. Water Sprite also noticed this and lost interest in continuing to toy with Bullseye.

She manipulated the illusion once more, and from Bullseye's perspective, countless energy rays came from all directions, leaving him with no way to avoid them.

Bullseye, who had been standing there dumbfounded, looked at the overwhelming energy rays and smiled with relief.

"Damn it!" Bullseye cursed as an energy ray pierced through his skull, piercing the white bullseye on his forehead.
