American comics: I gradually replicate everything

Chapter 36 Impossible, absolutely impossible.

Da Long was stunned.

What do you mean, "But I'm already here"?

What 'classic dialogue'?

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

Did the tortoise actually choose an idiot to be the Dragon Warrior?

Although Da Long didn't understand what was going on, he could feel that he had been mocked and looked down upon!

The monkey seemed to completely disregard him, saying these things not out of provocation or sarcasm, but simply because it found it amusing, showing utter indifference towards him.

"Getting impatient?"

Van Ken said.

Just a few simple words were enough to send Da Long's anger soaring.

But for some reason, he saw a bit of a tortoise in Van Can.

That old guy was like that when he was alive too. Even if the sky were to fall, he would be slow to react and indifferent to everything, with a touch of childlike whimsy.

You can get angry and yell at him, and he'll just stand there watching you, indifferent as if you were a spoiled child.

"You seem very confident in yourself?"

The dragon suddenly narrowed its eyes, a dangerous glint shooting out from them.

"The tortoise chose you to be the Dragon Warrior, a monkey?"

"Among the master's disciples, there was a monkey."

Golden Monkey, I recognize him.

I want to know, what makes you different?

"What made the tortoise choose you over the golden monkey!"

As he was about to take a step forward, he suddenly caught sight of a figure walking out of the Jade Emperor Palace.

"You'll find out, Big Dragon!"

That's my master.

The appearance of Master Raccoon disrupted his momentum once again.

He stood slightly behind and to the side of Van Can, with his hands behind his back.

"Vancan is the only genius I have ever seen in my life."

His kung fu is beyond my reach.

"Big Dragon, he will defeat you and send you back to Targon!"

Master Raccoon spoke calmly, his words full of admiration, even with a hint of certainty.

He winked at Vancan as he spoke, thinking he was being clever.

He knew his disciple Da Long, whom he had raised from scratch, all too well—impatient, proud, and intolerant of anyone being better than him.

Do it all at once, second time tired, third time exhausted.

Winning hearts and minds is the best strategy.

Once you ignite Da Long's anger, his strategy will fall apart.

Van Can felt that Master Raccoon had misunderstood him.

He spoke those words because he felt a sense of impending doom and that the two were about to clash; he found it amusing to say such things in that atmosphere.

As for the others... Da Long hasn't reached the point where he needs to use his cunning to deal with him.

After twenty years apart, his master, who had raised him single-handedly, only said these words to him, saying that he was destined to fail.

Its tail swished behind it, like a predator preparing to pounce. The dragon slowly opened its mouth, its voice carrying a complex emotion.

"Master, I'm home."

Is this how you welcome me?

Master Raccoon's voice was devoid of any warmth.

"This is no longer your home."

I am no longer your master.

"Nothing will change!"

Once I defeat him, I will be the Dragon Warrior.

The Jade Emperor Palace is still my home!

The dragon flew into a rage, stomped its foot, and the stone steps beneath it shattered.

Gravel flew everywhere, dust billowed, and I shot up the steps like an arrow.

Van Ken said.

"I'm sorry, there's no place for you in the Jade Emperor Palace. Your only home is Tagang Prison. Or perhaps I could consider making a small box your permanent home."

"You think you can kill me?"

The dragon, enraged and arrogant, burst through the air, its fists whistling and pressing down on the air, almost roaring out!

"I'll make you regret ever entering the Jade Emperor's Palace!"

"Is that so?"

Then I'll make you regret leaving Targon Prison.

Van Cane smiled without dodging or avoiding, and instead threw a punch to meet the attack.

The clash of fists and feet produced a dull thud, the shockwave spreading outwards and causing the nearby flags to flutter wildly.

Da Long flew backward, using the momentum to flip and land, while Van Can took a half step back, widening the distance between the two again.

He narrowed his eyes.

He used 70% of his strength in that punch, but his opponent actually took it head-on without suffering any loss.

"That's quite impressive. It's amazing that the food at Tagang Prison hasn't been bad for you in the past twenty years."

Van Can waved his hand and said.

"You are certainly qualified to be my opponent, but that's not enough!"

Da Long shook his arms, his bones cracking and popping, and his aura suddenly surged.

He suddenly attacked, unleashing a barrage of punches that whistled through the air, each punch carrying different force and angles as it struck Van Can.

This is the "Mountain Opening Fist" from the "Thousand Volumes of Kung Fu Books," characterized by its fierce and domineering style, emphasizing direct and forceful attacks.

Van Can remained calm and composed, shifting his stance and spreading his arms, employing the "Wind-Sweeping Willow Palm" technique from a kung fu book.

Da Long's fierce punches came one after another, but he managed to deflect all of them.

Da Long changed his move, switching to the Pi Gua Quan (劈挂拳) style, his arms swinging out like iron whips, sweeping wide and sweeping towards Van Can's head and neck.

Van Can tilted his head back to dodge, then struck out with his right palm, aiming straight for Da Long's waist and ribs. This palm strike was a "flicking hand" technique from thousands of kung fu books, fast and crisp.

Da Long dodged to the side and then swung his elbow at Van Can's back.

As if he had eyes in the back of his head, Vancan leaned forward, and the elbow grazed his back, causing his clothes to flutter in the wind.

The two exchanged blows on the steps, punching and kicking each other, until the stone steps shattered and stone chips flew everywhere.

For every move Da Long made, Van Can would respond with a different set of techniques and counterattack.

The Dragon Fist was fierce, but Van Can's moves were both soft and powerful, subtly displaying the air of a grandmaster as he calmly surveyed the opponent.

The two fought their way down the steps, each exchange producing a muffled thud and sending shockwaves outwards.

"These are all techniques from thousands of martial arts books!"

Da Long became increasingly alarmed as the fight progressed, retreating step by step. As he fell into a disadvantageous position, his expression turned somewhat grim.

He spent over a decade mastering various martial arts styles, including the Mountain-Opening Fist, the Willow-Sweeping Palm, the Sweeping Leg, and the Flicking Hand. He practiced each style thousands of times.

The monkey in front of them was also incredibly skilled in every move, as if it had practiced for decades and had even reached the pinnacle of mastery!

His mastery of the thousands of kung fu books even surpassed his!

"Rumor has it that you are not a resident of the Valley of Peace, nor are you from the Jade Emperor's Palace; you are a stranger from afar."

How do you know all the kung fu techniques from those thousands of kung fu books?!

Da Long threw a punch, but Van Can dodged it by sidestepping and returned the blow with a backhand smash.

"You, the traitor of the Jade Emperor Palace who once inflicted trauma on the Valley of Peace, can master the kung fu from thousands of kung fu books. How can I, the Dragon Hero, not know it?"

"Besides, can't I learn if I don't know how?"

Da Long blocked the punch, took several steps back, cracked the stone steps, and stood still, his arm numb from the impact.

"It took me over a decade to master all the skills in those books. How long did it take you to learn them all?"

He asked through gritted teeth.

"Three days."

Van Cannon answered casually, his hands never faltering, forcing the dragon into a complete retreat.

"Impossible, absolutely impossible!"
