Dark Eldar

97 Grilled Fish Slices

The elders of the "otherworld" often remained motionless for days during their meditation. Some were drenched in sweat and flushed (the Firebringers), while others were as steady as mountains. Loki once secretly told Benjamin VI, "Don't underestimate their daily meditation!"

Indeed! The "magic array" of this other world is extremely important, known only to a select few. The elders are all exhausted, hoping that a new elder will emerge from among the high-ranking mages, just as they did in their "youth." Elder "Aisef" so desperately hoped that Schopenhauer and Catherine could shoulder this heavy responsibility, and Elder Schopenhauer lived up to expectations, achieving it after countless hardships! He swiftly reached the goal expected by his teacher, Elder Aisef (sealing the "Dark Eldar"), and took his place...

"Level 70 is challenging enough! When will I ever get through this?!" Benjamin VI sat quietly on his small cushion, silently complaining to himself. (Leveling up slows down after level 60, and "grinding monsters" yields almost no experience points.)

Though he made no sound, his teacher, Master Schopenhauer, observed with keen insight. The micro-expressions of every practitioner in the temple, the expansion and pulsation of the veins in their eyelids, were played in slow motion within his "dimensionality" (a higher realm). Elder Schopenhauer's special magic had gradually merged with his indestructible body.

"Benjamin, being able to be honest and not think about any problems is also a kind of cultivation. I have warned you about this before," Elder Schopenhauer said in a low voice.

Elder Sun Yun overheard his words, and his eyes closed slightly, as if he were "secretly" learning from his senior brother.

Schopenhauer's top-tier wisdom (700+) is primarily used to maintain "peace" in other worlds, as well as "relative balance" and "tranquility" across multiple worlds. Elder Sun Yun's intelligence is 537.

Benjamin VI indeed cleared his mind of distractions, and even Rona (the female assassin) of the 17th Legion was gradually forgotten by him.

Void Fortress has recently descended into chaos. A nomadic uprising has overthrown the oppression of the werewolves (White Wolf). Several major rebel factions have also gone their separate ways. The 17th Legion, also without Ludal's rule, has become completely independent. The elite barbarian king (not rare) is equipped with gear far exceeding his level. The gear acquired from "Iron Rider Village" (a seemingly unremarkable nearby village) is a family heirloom passed down through generations. However, the laws of survival are cruel; the Iron Rider villagers sold it to the 17th Legion at a pittance (protection money). The 17th Legion's barbarian king promised to "no longer trouble and protect them," but returned a few days later...

The villagers, once valiant in rebellion, were ultimately weakened by their years of farming. (Default profession; if a hero "chooses" a hoe, sickle, fishing net, etc., they will be gradually weakened by "order" until they are reduced to a true farmer or fisherman.)

The heroes who once left Iron Cavalry Village have long since grown old, unable to continue the village's "legend." As for the purple equipment (equipment bound) they took with them? They too could not escape the "fate" of the auction house. (If Nader, "level 57, the village chief's eldest son," hadn't secretly sold his weapon, the "Charged Bow," the cunning Rudar would never have discovered this "treasure trove" of Iron Cavalry Village...)

Lorna's main and off-hand weapons remain unchanged; she still uses the "Invisibility Dagger" (blue) and Benjamin VI's "Exquisite Rattan Bow" (blue). Lorna's recent leveling has been quite rapid: 37, 38, 39! Three levels in a row! She's almost at the level of the guild leader, Barbarian King, at 45. Barbarian King, on the other hand, spends his days eating and drinking, and has become decadent. For him, grinding and leveling up are "extremely difficult! He's powerless," because there are easier ways to make money and command the guild.

Lorna, however, was different. She often ventured alone into the outskirts ("Dead Wilderness" 30-40) to hunt low-level monsters and gather food. (The 17th Legion's rations were mostly half-cooked, intended for orcs and werewolves, as the cooks were orcs. The Barbarian King, in particular, preferred this.)

In terms of appearance, the slender Lorna, dressed in men's clothing, has a very charming and graceful figure. Orcs and huge monsters generally don't like her androgynous, "cold" woman (the quirky Lorna deliberately dresses this way to avoid being bothered). The voluptuous "banshees" in the legion are the "goddesses" that the legion leaders dream of.

"A world where the strong prey on the weak! It's full of liars! A poorly marked fake map! That damned grocer!" Yesterday, Lorna spent a fortune on a fake treasure map that had been copied 5-6 times. After a whole day of work, the treasure chest deep in the cave had already been opened!

"And that brat Benjamin! Have you really forgotten about me?" Lorna, spear in hand, prepared to pounce on fish in the murky river. Her dinner was "Grilled Fish Fillets." (Grilled Fish Fillets, recipe learned; food and drink; not bound, not consumed; Use: Restores 150 health over 20 seconds. Must remain seated while eating. "If you spend at least 10 seconds eating, you will gain the 'Well-Fed' effect, increasing critical strike chance by 50% for 1 hour.")

Benjamin remained motionless, meditating, just as he had five hours earlier. Completely still. He sensed nothing. Benjamin hadn't reached level 70, nor did he possess any "artifacts," so "soul wandering" wasn't yet possible for him. He couldn't go wherever he wanted like Loki; of course, the price was the constant threat of his physical body being attacked.

Over two thousand years ago, the brilliant otherworldly archmage "Grey" died while in a wandering state, and his artifact "Wings of Wrath" (bound) turned to ashes with his death. Afterwards, more and more high-level mages, even those reaching level 70, were unwilling to easily use this "convenient" yet "dangerous skill"!
