Dark Eldar

71 Celebration Reception

The rewards for newly promoted high-level mages in "Otherworld" are as follows:

1. "Void Otherworld Military Mount" (Summons or dismisses a rideable Stormpike military mount; increases ground movement speed by 100%; increases flight speed by 310%; increases swimming speed by 100%). There are only ten of these "Otherworld" mounts in existence. Loki did not obtain one due to the controversy surrounding the "Artifacts".

2. "High-Ranking Mage Purple Title" (Can be hidden)

3. "High-Level Mage Fragment". Assigned according to class. Contains important parts (fragments) of an ancient magic scroll; the incomplete content requires the cultivator to "unlock" it; it is "soul-bound"; it is "unique"; and it is also a "purple" triggered quest.

In the evening, a grand celebratory reception was held in the council chamber.

Edward III the Warlock, Nami the Priestess, Stell the Priest, John the Warrior, George the Frost Mage (Iron Man), and Benjamin VI (Arcane). Six new generation "heroes" stood on the stage. Each had to give a "promotion speech."

Elder Schopenhauer presided over the reception. He descended from the ceiling, dressed in a magnificent business suit. Thunderous applause erupted from the audience!

Not only were the elders from other worlds applauding, but many outstanding junior and intermediate mages, priests, elf messengers, elemental messengers, necromancers, elite rulers, and representatives of various professions and races were also invited to attend the grand event!

"Alright, welcome everyone to this other world! Tonight, we are truly honored!" (Applause)

"As everyone knows, this interdimensional examination has produced six outstanding young mages and warriors, all of whom have been 'confirmed'. What's most gratifying is that this examination resulted in zero casualties! (Applause) It's truly a win-win situation! It also demonstrates the effectiveness of our elders' guidance!" (Applause)

"Now let's hand over the stage to today's protagonists! Six promising young high-ranking mages!" (Applause! Cheers!)

Benjamin VI was the first to give a speech.

"Hello everyone! I am Benjamin VI. For many years, I have followed Master Schopenhauer, studying magic in another world. I thought there was only one spot available for this exam, but I inexplicably advanced? I feel fortunate. Thank you, Master Schopenhauer! He encouraged me to 'never give up'! And thank you to my senior brother Edward! Thank you all! I will continue to work hard!" (Applause; Benjamin's speech is very humble, despite ranking first in spell damage output this time! DPS)

Iron Man George stepped forward, his voice trembling with emotion, and said, "Today...it reminded me of my senior brothers. I...I don't deserve the title of 'Iron Man.' My damage isn't as high as you all imagine! Perhaps it's only good enough to add a few ice cubes to your drinks (sparse laughter from the audience). I wish I could give my high-level mage spot to my senior brothers and sisters. But sadly, they can no longer hear me..." George wept as he walked back to the group.

John Wolverine was moved by George's words.

"We, the werewolf clan, have never been recognized in the multiverse. Now, as a tank, I have become a high-level warrior. I am determined to live up to my mission. While thanking my father, Elder Wolfd, I vow to destroy and dismantle the forces of darkness in this lifetime!" (Applause and cheers erupt!)

Wolverine's words were clearly instilled by his father. John, deep down, didn't want to utter such "passionate" words. He had once been a kind little wolf. He had originally wanted to thank Edward III, the priest, and Benjamin, but the "circumstances" wouldn't allow it. It concerned the "fate" of the "wolf pack's" future.

In the stands, Loki's soul seemed to have left his seat (in a detached state). He didn't want to listen to Nami's speech anymore. He wondered, "Why are there six this year? Has 'Order' become 'magnanimous'? Impossible! And there were zero deaths (all the subsequent sorcerers emerged safely). This was unbelievable before! You know, the advanced exams are always extremely dangerous and fraught with peril..."

"Loki, you've figured out the problem?" In the corner, Elder Sun Yun stared at Loki's soul, trying to communicate with him.

"Yes, Master, I feel like something's wrong," Loki said earnestly.

"Don't worry too much, Loki, that's just needless anxiety," Elder Sun Yun "advised."

Loki felt much better after hearing Elder Sun Yun's teachings. His mood, worries, and doubts all temporarily "vanished."

Finally, it was Edward's turn to speak!
